I love this song! I know people say the song is slow and takes a while to start, but I love the first 1:30, it's so relaxing, and it's just reeling you in. The beat is infectious, and I love the chorus in this song. The last minute is also really addicting, the bridge is amazing and then the chorus hits and it leaves you feeling so happy at the end.
This song doesn't really need an intro. 16 weeks on top, this is the song that made the public realize they were the s***.
They had a huge single released first, and this was a MONSTER single compared to it. It dethroned their previous single Boom Boom Pow.
This song had so many re-entries back into the top 10. Initially, it spent the first 20 weeks in the top 10, but re-entered in its 30th week and then in its 35th week. It also spent a huge 37 weeks in the top 20, and ranked #4 on the year end Hot 100, and #5 on the Decade Hot 100.
Worldwide, this was the song of the decade, as much as it was huge in the US, it was even bigger everywhere else. They really dominated 2009, they were ubiquitous.

Please edit your title so "Black Eyed Peas" is listed first. It's easier to find doing a Search. THANKS

I hate this song with a burning passion. Easily their worst song.

This is a great song. Awesome and deserving of being the smash that it was.

I have gotten to the point where I absolutely HATE this song. When it first came out, I wasn't as disliking of it, but the fact that everyone thought they had to play this song every 5 minutes, just made he get sick of it extremely quickly. That and the fact that this is about as generic as BEP can get, there is nothing redeeming about it. One of the most overrated songs of the last decade.

This song still get played at bars and clubs I go to and the general notion from the reactions of the crowd is, it hasn't gotten old. It's always a cheerer with the college crowd.

A mess, I hate it. It was torture to follow the Billboard charts at the time and see it remain at the top for so many weeks. Although, I will say it's *marginally* better than "Boom Boom Pow". That one is one of the biggest turds to ever become popular. I don't even consider it a song.

I get the same impression when it's played in those places. I enjoy hearing it on occasion now, but it was grossly overplayed on radio in 2009.

I hate this song with a burning passion. Easily their worst song. I also hate this song, but I think "Boom Boom Pow" might be even worse. This song was one of the reasons that I hated Top 40 radio in 2009.

I personally don't like it, but it's definitely one of the 00s definitive songs.

I always liked this song more than BBP, and this song is still tolerable to this day for me!

Always found this decent. They would always play this at sports arena. Very overplayed, indeed.

I hated this then and I still hate it now. I was shocked and horrified by how this was so successful and still gets so much play.
I was disappointed that this was the David Guetta production that happened whereas he had stuff that was better that never got a chance. The production was derived from his own "Love Is Gone" song.

The production was derived from his own "Love Is Gone" song. yeah that's my problem with this. a lot of his smaller 2000s hits + this were pretty samey altogether

I like this and the edgier David Guetta remix. Pulse 87 in New York used to play the remix a lot. Has a sick drop.

Overplayed dreck just like most post-2003 Black Eyed Peas songs. This song in particular was played endlessly in 2008/2009. I couldn't get away from this song fast enough and I didn't even listen to FM radio that much any more. From sporting events to the morning shows like "Good Morning America" playing this song nonstop. Drove me crazy.

Yep they used to play this one a lot. Played all the time during the fall and winter of '09.
