This song is so meaningful. This is the song that broke them through onto the music scene, they were virtually unknown before this.
This was the first song that Fergie was featured on, and it used Justin Timberlake's vocals as well.
I love the chorus in the song, and the ending of the song when they keep chanting "We've only got one life, one life" is so empowering. This song was HUGE in Europe, hitting #1 in Australia, UK, Canada, Switzerland, New Zealand and many others.

It's amazing to think the BEP were one of the few pop acts during that time to put out a song that opposed the war. I really think this is their best song because of the message it puts across.

Please edit the title to put "Black Eyed Peas" first. Easier to find in a search...

I didn't like it when it first came out as I wasn't opened minded to hip hop music but I really like it now.

They will never top this. Frankly, with the exception of "I Gotta Feeling," they haven't put out anything since that seems like it's even trying.

I wasn't fond of it at the time, but I think it's actually one of their best. With the exception of "Meet Me Halfway," it's certainly better than everything that followed it up.

It was a decent song. I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it now though.

I thought it was very different by the time I listened to it when it was released. No one was making nothing like this at the time so I really liked how Black Eyed Peas came in the scene.

The only BEP/Fergie song I like.
It hasn't aged that well, but the message and the execution are still great.

The best Fergie-era Black Eyes Peas song and that's not saying much. At least this one was as overplayed or as horrible as several of their other big hits from 2003 onward. I heard this song on Kiss FM 103.5 and B96 when I was younger.

The message of the song still stands today.
