I don't like that they give critiques in the same order every single time...I thought that would change with the live shows. Mariah is always last...and there really isn't a whole lot left to say by the time they get to her.

^LMAO. If you're realistic, you'll get banned. When everyone was all excited about a new album last June, I couldn't keep secret the fact that Mariah's album was nowhere near finished, so I told people it wasn't coming, and that she had a single coming out (which I was led on to believe was "Save The Day") -- I gave the details, talked about the three remixes, the release date, etc., and most didn't believe me. In the end, I was banned for "lying" when I was really just trying to help them sleep better at night.

Even if it plays at the end, I haven't seen any kind of Disney promo yet, either. It wasn't in any of the commercials. Also, people on UKMix are like "if it hadn't leaked..." It leaked a day early -- not even a full day. Mariah should've told Disney straight up that her airbrushing takes 5 weeks -- the same happened w/ IWKWLI and HATEU. If they don't vertically stretch her or have her in front of a green screen, they have to pinch every inch of her waist, thighs, and chin out frame by frame. |

Finaly I was wondering when the video was coming out. The preview was like 3 weeks ago? lol She looked great last night. that trainer must be kicking her ass into shape.. and obviously put her back on the morsel diet.. I cant wait for her performance. I think a few weeks after the performance and the movie comes out and she does the promo she has too.. If this isnt doing anything at radio or on the charts by then? Shell drop that first single. Which is kinda what Im hoping for. I LOVE this song, and would love nothing more then for it to smash. But I want a new MARIAH single.. Not a Soundtrack single..

Almost Home plays during the credits of Oz the Great and Powerful. The bootleg movie is already in the streets. It's been confirmed by fans who have actually seen the movie.
Almost Home is not being promoted and treated like a soundtrack song (which it is) because her first single is coming. They are saving the promo for that so they do not confuse PD's with what song they should consider adding.
Mariah has also been in communication with IDJ. She has known her album had a tentative release of May since December. She also started telling fans that news in Australia when they asked her (which can conviently be found in the old 100+ page thread.) She has had frequent label meetings that have been reported by Roger Frieman of the Hollywood 411 since November in between shooting for Idol. Ol'girl also posted pics of her with Steve Bartels and the VP of marketing Eric Wong. Where those rumors came from I don't know. I will say that with Rihanna out of the way, Bieber having already dropped his album the IDJ pipeline is wide open for her to get the attention she deserves with the album.

People always talk about the "age" thing being a factor, but, the truth is, when you look as good as Mariah and J. Lo do, age isn't a factor. I think age is only a factor because it's hard to sound fresh and new when you've been a famous singer for 20 years. On Idol, Mariah could pass for 10 years younger than she is, and is still more beautiful than most.
I'm praying this album is going to be outstanding, which is all Mariah needs to be successful at this point. I have a feeling it will be!
