If everybody updates their status on 11/11 I think she could have a real chance with this song. Do people remember "Obsessed" and Facebook? Honestly, I don't know if "Obsessed" would've been a Top 10 digital seller without it. I remember seeing "Obsessed" on my Facebook sidebar all of July and August. It was a 1x4 ad with a link to the iTunes download. I think "ads" like that are generated based on your browser's history. I don't think it was a universal ad that everyone saw. |

We are all sort of assuming, I guess because of the title, that The Art of Letting Go is a ballad. I had this thought that she might surprise us and it could be a throwback uptempo type of record with strings. Maybe I think that because Rodney Jerkins is involved, and I don't associate him with ballads.

But Rodney has done some successful ballads, even if people don't always associate him with them. "Angel Of Mine" and "Cater 2 U" =come to mind. |

I LOVE Angel, and Cater, One & only was really good too. I like most of Darkchilds work. its not a ballad but I loved SayMyName! and the work he did with Whitney was great too. I kind of hope its a uptempo break up record kinda like Heartbreaker/someday. My boyfriend and I of 10 years broke up. Now im 30 and single, yay me. I need some New MiMi break up music to feel better. She has always been able to do that! (sorry for the rambling) Attachment Deleted |

I just want her to swallow all her pride and reunite with the writers and producders she worked with on the debut album through daydream.
those were her prime years, the best music from her was produced then (she knows that and so does the public).
it would be great publicity "Mariah goes back to her roots and reunites with the people who helped with the birth of the superstar" something like that. I wanna see what all those great writers and producers she had back in the day, can come up with!
the FANS want it! Mariah give it to us!

80% of the time she tries to pose sexy, it comes across as very awkward.
She toned and muscular but she hasn't yet reached her goal weight so she tends to suck in her stomach which automatically inflates her already huge chest.
Add in linebacker shoulders and it just looks awkwardly porny.

The more Mariah wears less clothes, the less sexy she becomes and she just looks awkward. Just pathetic and still does not get a clue that she is not sexy.
I have lost hope she will ever come up with some decent records again. She's just lost it and I am sure this song is nothing special as well
