Good, they can try again until they make that magic we've seen them create. This could be good for both of them! And I wish Liron--the only fan she truly speaks with on a regular basis--would just be straight up with Mariah and tell her how her fans REALLY feel. We may not come to a general consensus in terms of whether we want more ballads, more midtempos, something poppier, something more R&B, something more youthful, something more mature...but we ALL want her to do something new, and the majority of us want her to stay modern. I can't get over Liron thinking Triumphant was a hot record. It just wasn't. She, RaeRae, B.Scott and her other superfluous folk are yes men and women. Somebody has to keep it real with her or challenge her creatively. And if she isn't going to put out an album or single now during Idol she and her team have missed a big opportunity. An opportunity she won't get again since I can already predict her departure from Idol...when her single drops I hope she hustles and makes it happen for herself. She has to find that connection she had and drive she had during TEOM. It's been gone for a while. |

I just wish somebody could get through to her. I will never get over how MC Summer 2012 only lasted 1 day because of her yes people. She can be at that point in her career where she can be surrounded by yes people...but they do not help by souping her ass up for something as uninspired as Triumphant. She didn't know if she was inspired or at the strip club when Ross jumps on the track. She has to be put in check and the folk at the label need to do it. |

The airplay for "Emotions," "Dreamlover" and "Fantasy" is very close- at least for this latest week of info.
Rounding out the top 10 are "One Sweet Day," "Can't Let Go" and "Don't Forget About Us."

I haven't heard any Mariah recurrent play lately, but other than AIWFCIY, up until probably last year, I heard ABMB and Fantasy a ton -- even on Pop stations (including Z100). The Hot AC/90's station plays "Emotions" and "Someday."
JD and Mariah recorded ANOTHER ballad. Shocking.

I think she's looked great for the most part (especially when she's had less curl to the hair)- just didn't think this particular dress was the best look on her.

Her new boobs looked great, and she's definitely losing weight...pretty face, not orange. Soon the legs will be back. I don't think she looked like Aretha at all, and I know exactly what picture you're talking about. She looks young, too. Maybe she's getting botox or whatever, but it's working...and she seems happy. She looked silly at the So So Def event, but that was clearly her calling the shots  . |

"Almost Home" went for adds this week and only gained 9 spins at the format since last week. I thought it would easily be able to outpeak "Right To Dream," but now I don't know. The #50 song has 14 spins.
