Dear lambs, it's almost 10 pm and I'm lying on the bathroom floor in sheer desperation. Just got off the phone with Jermaine who told me about the illegal online presentation of 'You're mine (Eternal)'. I really don't know what to say cause I put my heart and soul into this record and I want it to be heard the way it's supposed to be heard. Just know that this is NOT the final version of the song. Legal action will be taken as soon as we find out who did this. It was supposed to be a special day and now this. Well, stay tuned for the real thing, it will be worth it! #Eternal

Too much drama surrounding this release. But anyway! I love both versions of the song. There's a simplicity that makes it very marketable as well. I can't say it's a sure hit. But MC doesn't need a sure hit. She needs a credible song, and that is what this is.

Am I missing something, or does the original really only have one verse? I'm going to need a lyric video. Like, the hook/chorus is gorgeous, but she couldn't write 2 verses? I can't stand when artists do that.

Finally, it is like Mariah remembers who she is. It is such a shame this wasn't able to immediately follow up #Beautiful with this she could have set herself up so well.
Now, if she could put some effort into her remixes a bit more it would be like a complete return to form.
