Congratulations, Pulse Music Board. Sometime yesterday, someone had the four millionth post on this website (probably josh). I want to thank ALL members past and present for making Pulse Music Board a great place to discuss a wide variety of subjects.

Take every recent thread and order the latest replies by time until you figure it out. Ofc if posts get deleted while ur doing it then Deleted posts are the problem. Your post is post #4267294. I'm 95% sure the reason for that being 264,627 higher than the total number of posts is because of deleted posts.

Is there a way to find out? I know if someone reached a thousand posts and what the 1000th post would be, but can that be done at the website level?

Wouldn't it be this post?: I've been a music fan my entire life and have always listened to radio, but it seems like my Hot AC (Y98fm St. Louis) is very bias towards certain artists and plays all of their new and old songs during the day, while a song like Like I Can gets played when no one is listening. Is it possible stations are very one-sided when it comes to certain artists ? I just went to the "recent posts" under the 5,000,071 total post number (it's probably more now) and went to Reply #71 on that "thread". Not sure if deleted posts factor in though.

And it took only 818 days for the Pulse community to post the next million and go from 4M to 5M. Expect Pulse to surpass 6 million posts by either late 2016 or early 2017.

I'm guessing sometime last week, Pulse reached six million posts. I must be slipping otherwise I would have noticed that sooner. In any case, I want to thank past and present members for getting to that level.

So it took us 14 years to do something Adele did in just a few weeks or months - twice? hmmm

Well, it happened over the course of the past twelve hours, but we have now reached seven million posts. Congratulations to all who have contributed to that milestone.

"Thru These Tears" and "99" would've been very high on my list. I'm pretty sure this is the lucky seven millionth post!

Congratulations to our 8 millionth post. Much like Mariah popularized something that she didn't originate and getting the flowers for it, Madonna used her platform as a major female pop star to do things no woman in her position had done before so flagrantly when it comes to explicit sexuality in mainstream pop culture. I don't think she's saying she's the first to be a sexual woman in the business, or sing a sexually suggestive song, she's saying she WENT THERE and knocked down a wall that was still intact before her with a bulldozer and took a lot of flack for it, and gave zero fcks. There are interviews with men who tell her they were horrified by or uncomfortable with the Sex book, and she made them look like idiots for acting like she couldn't be in control of her own sexuality, as "nasty" as she chose to portray it in the work. To act like she didn't at least make a major advancement for mainstream pop stars to freely express themselves sexually and explicitly is ignorant, and it sounds more like you just don't want to give Madonna her flowers. Which, in this culture of "Janet is the Queen of Pop" and the aging Mariah fans who harbor this weird resentment, is pretty normalized and standard, unfortunately. They can all be successful and have their own talents and chart achievements, but not everyone is a trailblazer who has taken a lot of risks, and that's ok. Fittingly, it's about Madonna, who herself is 8 million years old.
