This is the first single from Mary Chapin's new album, Between Here And Gone, which is coming out April 27th. Columbia doesn't really seem to think it'll do much at radio, since it only goes for adds a week before the album's release. It's a nice song, though nowhere near her best. I'd be shocked if it gets past #45.

Hmm...weird. Allaboutcountry.com is showing "Beautiful Racket" as the first single.

Very very good. This sounds like something Patty Loveless or Alison Krauss would do. Hope it will do something, but I doubt it.

As for "Beautiful Racket," that's the Hot AC/Triple A single. "WWYSTM" is going to Country.

This doesn't compare with her older stuff though. And just because we haven't even mentioned her name in a long ass time, I'm listing my top 10 favorite MCC songs: 1. He Thinks He'll Keep Her 2. I Take My Chances 3. Passionate Kisses 4. The Hard Way 5. Shut Up And Kiss Me 6. I Feel Lucky 7. Down At The Twist And Shout 8. Not Too Much To Ask 9. Let Me Into Your Heart 10. Tender When I Want To Be

My top 10:
1. He Thinks He'll Keep Her 2. I Take My Chances 3. This Shirt 4. The Hard Way 5. I Feel Lucky 6. Shut Up And Kiss Me 7. House Of Cards 8. The Bug 9. Tender When I Wanna Be 10. Passionate Kisses
Her earlier stuff was better, but she's an extremelly talented songwriter.
