Usher’s Male Herpes Accuser Demands Singer Turn Over Medical RecordsPublished June 5, 2018 at 7:44 am PDT By Daniel Goldblatt Usher is accused of refusing to turn over his private medical records to the man who accused the singer of allegedly exposing him to herpes after he claims they had sex at a Los Angeles spa. Quantasia Sharpton – along with a Jane Doe and John Doe – sued Usher last year claiming they all had sexual relations with him. They all say he risked their health by not telling him about his alleged diagnosis and are seeking unspecified damages. John Doe claimed he had sex with Usher at a Koreatown spa in Los Angeles and he recently filed docs in the case accusing Usher of refusing to turn over key evidence in the case.According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Doe filed a motion asking the judge to order the singer to turn over the documents/information. Doe is after Usher’s confidential medical history and possible settlements in the past. Doe says Usher has not only refused to turn over documents but tried to invoke attorney-client privilege and physician-patient privilege in his effort to not hand over the records. The singer has accused Doe of trying to harass him with the demands and has refused to answer his numerous questions. Doe is also seeking a protective order over Usher’s medical records saying that the public dissemination of his medical history would invade his privacy and cause embarrassment and distress to him. He says specifically the medical info he has obtained thus far from Usher, during discovery in the lawsuit, could result in ridicule and possibly harassment of the singer if released. A judge has yet to rule. theblast.com/usher-male-herpes-accuser-medical-records/

So good. I wouldn’t have minded a futuristic album campaign like this versus the decaying statue bust artwork we got for Hard II Love.

Oh okay, I'm assuming an EP all produced by Zaytoven? I'm ready for new Usher, come on midnight.

Seems like the latest thing is to delete all previous Instagram posts prior to releasing new music

All of this s**t sounds like an extension of his last album. HARD PASS! I feel like he’s just going through the motions at this point, but I’ll always check out new Usher (even if it means I never listen to it again after that).

Took me a little while to dig my hazmat suit out of the back of the closet, but #present.
I've been disappointing myself lately by listening to snippets and getting nothing out of them, so I think I'll just wait until the whole thing drops.

Cautiously optimistic. The clips make it all too clear that it's trap influenced, which I'm fine with if it's good.
Usher is in a weird space because he's one of the few veteran acts who's still capable of a chart comeback with the right material, but easy to write off as washed up with anything less than spectacular. We still expect him to sound modern, but we don't want him blatantly chasing trends. We still want him to sound classic, but without recycling past hits or relegating himself to the Urban AC microformat. I don't know which lane is best for him at this point, but I still think he can take a few different forks in the road if he nails it (unlikely).

It's been interesting reading twitter today. A lot of comments like this, which are most often directed at female acts. This one from a female.
Zaytoven is 38, so...? Is 40 really still a time to make "mature" music or die? 40 is the new 30, y'all.
I like Usher's old school R&B as much as the next person, but... he's done a lot of that, and I'm sure there's more to come. I say let him live.

Sounds good to me. I still spin “FWM,” “Bump,” “Let Me,” & “Rivals” from his last album. They’re all standout Usher.

Is there anything like "No Limit"? Stay At Home. I'm not sure how much I'd revisit this, but this is cute. Actually, the way he handled this (surprise drop, short tracklist) is how he should have handled Hard II Love and it's a shame that the strategy probably won't do much of anything for him now. I'm most partial to Peace Sign, but if he's going to try for any radio success he should probably push Birthday.

The EP is nice. Usher and Zaytoven took it back to pre-Migos trap music. I could see him dropping something like this back in like 2010, if he wasn't chasing EDM/pop music.
"Say What U Want" is the best song from the project. Those piano keys and vocals, my lord.

This EP jumped out. The production is excellent, he actually sounds great over these trap type beats. I can see that some of the songs were tailored if Future sung/rapped some of them(the lyrics definitely prove that), which isnt a bad thing. The "Birthday" song is kinda funny at times, but Ursher goes off later on in the song. Solid EP.

I really like this! It reminds me of Jeremih's Late Nights a bit, but honestly Usher sounds as great as ever and his vocals elevate typical trap into something much greater. I think if he dropped this in 2015 he'd have held on to relevance. It's still good now - but more about the music than whether it'll "do" anything.
