From this weeks chart: expect some changes soon. I will be publishing the "sans recurrent" here on the country chart soon. I still gotta figure out how to do the colors, as currents will be black, red is recurrent, orange is gold, and any debuts will be green. However, this week Gretchen still holds a strong #1, and I'd expect next week to have her back for a 5th week!
JMM is about done at #2. Tight race next week between his brother (MG) and TK. Tim zooms 19-8 this week, and probably took out poor Kenny Chesney's chance of hitting #1. Highest debut this week (with all recurrents factored in remember), is Sara Evans' new song, Suds in the bucket at #48. Unlike some of the other formats, particularly AC, you have to go all the way down to #71 to find our highest "gold" single, which is Friends in low places this week.
On the official billboard chart, we should see Keith Urban and George Strait go recurrent, Shania will drop off the chart pretty quickly. As far as on the Hot 100, look for a long recurrentcy (is that a word) for Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney's songs, as they are both picking up some airplay at other formats. YAY!
That's all for this week.
