I'm still wondering why Gangnam Style dropped out so suddenly and haven't returned yet

I figured that Demons would eventually fall below Radioactive. Radioactive lives on as the king of longevity! And Demons had excellent longevity as well! So I guess since sales and airplay are just about level now, or the differences are almost negligible, and Radioactive continues to dominate Demons in streaming, so hence Radioactive comes out on top.

When Counting Stars drops out, it's probably gonna be #1 here for a looooong time And here comes Gangnam Style again LOL! I don't dislike the song at all but it's hilarious to watch its unpredictable up-and-down trajectory!

Oh look, Gangnam Style is back. I wonder what's the reason if it's sudden disappearance for the last few weeks. The video's daily view is pretty much the same with it usually is

CS is now out of Hot 100. Imagine how long it'll rule this chart. I just hope to Jesus that it stays steady enough to stay on top after DH falls out and goes recurrent in the next couple weeks. I'll be pretty surprised and pissed if DH ends up slaying CS on here. And rotfl at Gangnam Style. Does anyone have any possible explanation for its very peculiar chart run?

I want it out of the Hot 100 but I don't want it here in the recurrents chart. lol I'm fine with it here as long as it isn't #1. I definitely prefer for it to not be on the Hot 100 after 57 weeks.

^If a track has enough points to chart within the top 50, it will re-enter. Not sure if there's a criteria in terms of how old the track is, though. Like, a track that just went recurrent a few weeks ago sees a gain this week, and has enough points to rank in the top 50- would it re-enter?

I think it would need to be be gaining consistently for some time before it can re-enter (i.e. Demons and Sail)

Like, a track that just went recurrent a few weeks ago sees a gain this week, and has enough points to rank in the top 50- would it re-enter? Once a song falls out, it is not allowed to come back in its current run. Re-entries only happen after the chart run (by chart run, I mean, not just the top 50 but its natural decline after as well). If some unusual market force brings it back then that is when the rentry happens.

That makes sense, to not allow a re-entry during a track's initial chart run/trajectory, once it drops below the top 50.

I believe that Get Lucky should have been allowed to re-enter post Grammy's. It could have been on the chart for a bit longer, a few weeks definitely. It's not like it only would've rebounded to #49 for a week and then fall out of the top 50 again for good. It would've been top 20 the week after Grammy's.

(Just joshin', Mark G. ;) )
Will Psy return to the top of the chart?
