What's the fastest rising number one in the history of the country chart? Is "I'll Go On Loving You" or "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning" or some other song I am overlooking
And, is Tim McGraw close to the record if he gets to number one in the next two weeks?

"Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)" hit #1 in six weeks, but Tim McGraw's "It's Your Love" made it in 5 weeks. That's on Bilboard.
I don't know what the record is though.

I'll have to check my records at home, but I believe "it's your love" made it in 6. Garth had one reach in 5, and Darryl Worley's reached in 5 as well. Shania hit in 6 weeks w/ Love gets me everytime. I think Where were you took 7 or 8 on Billboard to hit #1. Again, I'll have to check my charts at home. No, I watch RR, but keep track of BB. The original post didn't specify which chart.
