Let the quick lynching begin?
Harmless first post by inexperienced player who hasn't been here in a while; not awkwardly phrased, smiley is not out of place. No vote; easily exploitable if said newbie is town; but non-incriminating if scum.
This might be a joke, but that is a strategy town most definitely wants to avoid, particularly in nightless games where the day phases have a lot of info.
Things to consider regarding interaction:
TvT
TvS
SvS
TvT easily believed; could be a town player getting out their thoughts to avoid people quicklynching. Acknowledges post likely a vote.
TvS easy to believe as well. Could be a helpful townie not knowing they are talking to a scum or a scum attempting to come off as helpful to town by coaching a townie. "This might be a joke" is awkwardly phrased and placed. Seems more intent on sowing the seeds of doubt than recognising the clear intent. Doesn't seem intent on using it to build discussion/momentum, instead a phrase that focuses on the subtle route. If TvS Kunt is more likely to be scum.
SvS harder to believe. This would be a subtle push at distancing. Goon distancing from Godfather? Likely not, sets himself up in a position to easily rally for a lynch as necessary due to wording. If SvS it's Godfather pushing against Goon.
Devin you've posted, but you didn't put an RVS vote. Why?
Ties in well to previous mention of SvS. SvS illogical here. Scum would be more likely to prod partner to vote in QuickTopic
or scum would have been more likely to push partner to vote in first interaction; not second. Scum communication in thread more likely to be automatic than delayed; would have been likely to mention it the first time; especially when he was already digging into a subtlety then.
TvT still possible. Same reasoning as before; easily a townie trying to get another townie in the game.
TvS possible. Either being scum easily believed in regards to this specific instance.
Hey now, I didn't know who I should vote for yet. But here's my vote:
Vote: JuanResponds to vote-fishing non-reluctantly. Reluctant would have avoided L-1. Seem more unaware of situation than setting things up for a quicklynch. T-tinges here more than S-tinges. Possible careless scum, but no awkward phrasing present. Post continues supporting scenarios outlined above without conflict.
Really?!? If I get lynched, I will know who will be my targets.
PS. Oh! So, the deadline is on the 30th. My bad thinking that it was tomorrow
Responds to L-1 with eyes aimed at two targets. If town guilty of OMGUS, possible time to strike and capitalize as scum if they feel player will jump the gun.
Vote: JuanitoDiscussion is going nowhere, so even if you flip vengeful (not like we really have anything to indicate you would or wouldn't here), you get your kill. That sounds HORRIBLE on paper I know, but that's my point RE: discussion is going nowhere [2]. I think we can get more out of impending death than anything. And taking out a scum and town and putting us in LYLO gives us a better chance at baiting them out based on what they're saying.
I think the options are Devin for putting you at L-1 (full well knowing the nature of the game) or me for hammering here (I know...), but yeah. Do with that what you will.
Scum post all around. Clearly an attempt at getting an OMGUS shot. Doesn't do a simple quicklynch, attempts to construe blatant lies in attempt to get vengeful focusing on prior targets. Says discussion is going nowhere after seven hours; clearly pulling nothing out of nowhere that doesn't draw connections to possible partner if shot. Reinforces the empty reason twice "[2]", filler to make long post come across as more authoritative. Blatant lie regarding trading a town for scum is a good trade. In set-up lying scum increases town chances of winning; lying town and venge-killing scum results in a situation with less chance of winning. Clearly scum grasping at straws without having to make any more connections with other living players. Taking the fall and hoping partner doesn't get lynched; fully expects to be shot, but would prefer if not shot. Names self as target, and doesn't argue it. Once again scum setting self up for fall. Makes a single connection to another player. SvS makes no sense; name self or partner for shot without a set-up to absolve one from the other on the next day. TvS makes more sense: S expects to be shot and LYLO to occur, other player is likely for WIFOM on D3, distraction that can lead to a mislynch, too risky for SvS who are clearly confident in LYLO occurring. Also asserts other player is "full well knowing the nature of the game". Clear disconnect, was attempting to coach player earlier. Not giving player a subtle out, instead giving player a subtle push. More sense as TvS than SvS, possibility for misfire dropped here.
Kunt no longer posts after Juan's role is revealed. Does not comment, scum silencing self to draw no more connections, wants to leave town in dark once shot. Josh comments, Max comments; neither directs Juan who to shoot. Devin does not post; Kunt would direct Devin to either leave an empty comment ala Josh/Max or to say to shoot Kunt. More likely apathetic townie waiting for shot to occur than silent scum.
Kunt & Devin makes little sense. Kunt & Josh also makes little sense at this point. Kunt & Max makes most sense due to interactions and PoE. Shoot Kunt, lynch Max.
