I don't know your current #1, but still a great chart. :) <3 most of the recurrents. When will I see "G.U.Y." on here? Kinda shocked you don't given how closely you've followed Lozzy's chart. :o
Good #1, it's catchy, but it's definitely not one of my fav's on your chart. "Do I Wanna Know" needs to keep slaying that weeks column. Zebra's Top 50 - February 23, 2014 - Week 8 Older Songs/Recurrents: 03 - "Radiaoctive" - Imagine Dragons :)) "You're Mine (Eternal)". "Move" top 5. "Jump" jumps into the top 50. Hope "Habits" & "XO" sustain longevity. "All Of Me" top 3. "I See Fire" has arrived, top 50 that is. :)
As far as the year-end goes, great to see Night Visions & the band behind it on top.
Lol my comments are so out of order.

Lol my comments are so out of order. Right? I was surprised he didn't know it. It is really catchy, but I could see why someone wouldn't like it. Oops. :( I knew that. Glad you like all of those! "Habits" and "XO" should stick around. :) "Do I Wanna Know?" is so flawless. :'( Glad you like my year end! Thanks for commenting! (I just noticed, my comments are out of order with yours as well.)

Zebra's Top 50 - March 2, 2014 - Week 39, Week 9
New week, new number one. Beyonce advances to number one with "Partition". This, plus her four weeks for "XO", gives her over half of this year's weeks at number one. Needless to say she is slaying. John Legend and Karmin advance one position each, while "Riptide" falls from one to four. "Come to Me" jumps fifteen to five, "Drunk in Love" rises from seven to six, "People Help the People" moves from nine to eight, and "Move" falls from five to seven. "We Remain" and "Let It Go", both movie songs, enter the top ten at nine and ten, respectively. These two have been favorites for weeks, which shows how competitive the chart is right now. "On Top of the World", in a late move, moves from forty seven to twenty six, as it is now a single here as well. "Sweater Weather" is the largest faller, falling from forty three to fifty five. Four songs enter/re-enter this week: "The Worst" (44), "Glory and Gore" (58), "Lanterns" (59), and "I Can't Describe (The Way I Feel)" (60). This pushes "Counting Stars" and others out, causing "Royals" to have the most weeks on, with thirty six. Perfect top 3! I should really listen to that "Riptide" before everyone else gets over it. "People Help The People" I'm proud of you. "Jubel", "Follow Your Arrow" and "Human" are rising as well as "Gypsy". I see you have a funny chart run for "On Top Of The World" like me. Rooting for "The Worst" to get a new peak at least.

You really should. It should hang around for a while though, as it only dropped due to the strong top three. Thanks! [2] It is so good. Glad you like those! Oh yes, "OTOTW" has a really strange run, and it may even go top ten, which would make it especially weird. "The Worst" should do well, as I'm really starting to love it again. Thanks [3] for commenting!

Zebra's Top 50 - March 9, 2014 - Week 40, Week 10
Week 40! I didn't think my chart could get any more competitive, but it did. With each passing week it gets harder to place songs, as I love most of the songs that are charting. The race for number one was especially close, as "All of Me" and "Partition" are both amazing. "All of Me" won because of constant exposure, pushing "Partition" down to number two. Karmin holds at number three, the Goo Goo Dolls move up from five to four, and Vance Joy falls from four to five. Everything else in the top ten either increases ("People Help the People", "We Remain", "Let It Go", "Ready for Your Love"), or holds ("Drunk in Love"). In fact, this week forty two songs are bolded. Six songs debut this week: "Waiting All Night" by Rudimental and Ella Eyre (late, I know) at 45, "Let Go for Tonight" by Foxes at 54, "Magic by Coldplay at 55, "Raging Fire" by Phillip Phillips at 56, "Guilty All the Same" by Linkin Park and Rakim at 57, and "Braveheart" by Neon Jungle at 58. This makes for a sad week for drop outs, as "Royals", "Team", "Sweater Weather", "Pumpin' Blood", "Let Me Go", and "Cannonball" all drop out. Normally the first four would have stayed on way longer than they did but the entries keep multiplying. This makes "Pompeii" the song with the most weeks of charting, at 31. The greatest gainer goes to Pharrell's "Happy", which moves from 40 to 27. The largest fall is "Alone Together", falling from 37 to 48. It's an extension of my chart that I haven't made official yet (will soon) as I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep it but I have decided I need the extra positions as my chart is crazy competitive. Glad you like those, and thanks for commenting! EDIT: Whoops, I knew that. Good catch on "Human". :)

They all underwhelmed me at first, but then they grew on me, as you can see here. I think so. I didn't like it at first either but then I was checking the UK chart out to find new music and it sort of clicked. Also, glad you like so many, and thanks for commenting!

Zebra's Top Songs of 2013 - 30-16Finally I'm starting this again. Anyways, I hate to not finish things, and I've put this off too long, so here is the first half of the last fourth of my year end. So many good songs were in this section, and it was a shame many of them didn't peak higher. Enjoy, and stay tuned for the top 15 tomorrow! 30. Come & Get It - Selena GomezRun: 5-8-14-22-18-14-16-14-18-15-11-10-14-15-21-28-34-39-49Peak: 5 Weeks: 19 Points: 162,200 9x Platinum
I remember being really excited when I heard she was releasing solo material, as I had loved most of her The Scene work. This song did not disappoint, and it debuted high due to high plays. It was then held back by competition and thus got many weeks in the 10-20 range. Kinda burned on me, but good regardless. 29. DNA - Little MixRun: 36-32-30-26-23-21-19-18-15-14-22-31-26-30-42-32-30-24-26-25-29-35-46Peak: 14 Weeks: 23 Points: 166,800 9x Platinum
I was excited for this one after "Wings". It took me by surprise and I gave it a lengthy run. However, competition, coupled with a high burn rate, prevented this from doing what it could have. Personally this wouldn't be this high, but the points system (which I have since changed) placed it here. 28. Hold On, We're Going Home - Drake ft. Majid JordanRun: 18-17-17-17-12-10-5-4-4-3-7-12-13-14-18-25-28-35-37-41Peak: 3 Weeks: 20 Points: 166,900 9x Platinum *Still Charting*
When it comes to Drake I love his more R&B side. Don't get me wrong, I love many of his rap songs, but this kind of song from him is my favorite. I loved it so much it almost went to number one. However, Lorde and OneRepublic prevented this. Great song. 27. Applause - Lady GagaRun: 42-25-16-15-10-8-8-6-5-4-3-5-8-11-13-19-23-28-32-37Peak: 3 Weeks: 20 Points: 169,100 9x Platinum *Still Charting*
When I first heard this I was like what even is this. However, it grew on me in a big way, and it even beat its superstar competitor ("Roar") in terms of points. Another great song. 26. Take A Walk - Passion PitRun: 16-1-1-2-2-2-5-9-9-12-18-19-28-34-39-39-48-48-45-46-49-out-40 Peak: 1(2) Weeks: 22 Points: 169,600 9x Platinum *Charted in 2012*
I loved this at the beginning of the year. However, as much of its run was in 2012, and as 2013 started to be filled with new releases this started to fall quickly. However, it managed to stay near the bottom of the chart for a while, ranking it here. I would have placed it top twenty at least. 25. Figure 8 - Ellie GouldingRun: 49-37-32-13-6-3-3-1-3-4-8-13-16-17-21-24-27-33-40-43-45-46Peak: 1(1) Weeks: 22 Points: 172,300 Diamond
After "Lights" and "Anything Could Happen" finished doing well I needed a new single. I heard "Figure 8" from looking at Lozzy's chart and then checking it out (go figure). I fell in love almost instantly. It took a while to rise due to stiff competition, but it inevitably hit number one. Love this. 24. Let Her Go - PassengerRun: 45-32-24-18-14-14-13-12-10-9-12-16-17-20-20-21-23-23-23-28-33-40Peak: 9 Weeks: 22 Points: 173,500 Diamond
Honestly tired of this now, but I loved it then. It was a sweet song and it was a definite grower. His voice didn't even irritate me. It had nice longevity too. 23. It's Time - Imagine DragonsRun: 1-2-4-5-8-7-8-10-15-19-20-25-29-31-37-35-37-43-47-45-46-43-49Peak: 1(1) Weeks: 23 Points: 174,200 Diamond *Charted in 2012*
YES. This song was finishing up its number one run (3 weeks), and it was a strong one. It had to compete with "Diamonds", "Ride", and "I Need Your Love", but it still prevailed. I felt this was a nice song for Senior year as it had this feeling of a new beginning. I still love this song, would have definitely made the top five had it had its full run. 22. Tennis Court - LordeRun: 11-7-5-4-5-4-2-2-1-2-6-6-7-7-11-13-16-21-24Peak: 1(1) Weeks: 19 Points: 175,900 Diamond *Still Charting*
The second song I had ever heard from Lorde, and needless to say I loved it. It had debuted in the lower reaches of my now defunct top 100, and it raced up quickly. It had a crazy long top ten run, especially considering the strength of my chart then, and it even crept into number one. This better be the fourth single. 21. Pompeii - BastilleRun: 40-8-5-11-14-18-22-23-21-20-20-19-18-21-24-25-30-36-48-out-48-39-38-36-32Peak: 5 Weeks: 25 Points: 178,400 Diamond *Still Charting* EH EH OH EH OH EH EH EH OH... This song is just amazing. I discovered it as a free download on iTunes, even though I already knew about it due to it slaying internationally. This song just has an epic feel that feels fresh with every listen. So good, and it even re-entered for a third time in 2014. 20. Can't Hold Us - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ft. Ray DaltonRun: 44-37-32-31-27-24-16-10-6-6-5-4-2-6-5-7-12-16-22-28-33-39-44Peak: 2 Weeks: 23 Points: 185,300 Diamond
"Thrift Shop" was great, but what really made me like M&RL was this. It never hit number one, but I still loved it. If it wasn't for "Radioactive" this would have had a decent run at the top. I'm glad this made it this high, it is a nice feel-good song that defines summer 2013. 19. My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up) - Fall Out BoyRun: 31-29-29-28-24-17-15-13-9-6-4-5-8-12-12-12-12-15-21-25-29-30-44-50Peak: 4 Weeks: 24 Points: 192,500 Diamond
I saw this race up iTunes and I was like "okay, let's check this out". I did not regret it. This song was just so much fun. I'm glad they had the success they did with it. 18. Stompa - Serena RyderRun: 46-41-33-30-27-22-16-15-13-12-17-28-34-39-41-12-8-8-11-14-18-26-29-34-40-50Peak: 8 Weeks: 26 Points: 193,800 Diamond
Probably the weirdest run on my chart this year, this had began charting but lost steam and started to crash. However, I purchased it and it gave this song a new wind. This caused it to sail to the top ten and to become one of my favorites this year. Great song. 17. The One - Tamar BraxtonRun: 47-45-42-46-33-15-4-4-5-3-2-6-9-13-16-15-18-16-20-24-26-28-35-38-47Peak: 2 Weeks: 25 Points: 195,000 Diamond
Slaymar again. This was a fun summer jam that deserved to be a number one. It still sounds as fresh as when I first heard it. 16. The Way - Ariana Grande ft. Mac MillerRun: 50-39-10-9-4-4-4-3-3-3-2-3-4-6-7-9-13-19-22-25-32-42-46 Peak: 2 Weeks: 23 Points: 195,500 Diamond I had no clue this girl was on Nickelodeon, even though I had seen Victorious. I was simply impressed with her voice. This is still a fun song, even if it burned on me quickly towards the end of its run. I'm glad it had the success it did.
TOP 15 COMING TOMORROW.

Zebra's Top Songs of 2013 - 15-115. Safe and Sound - Capital CitiesRun: 49-47-35-34-21-21-16-19-23-28-29-30-30-18-14-12-12-10-10-13-15-17-25-29-36-48Peak: 10 Weeks: 26 Points: 196,100 DiamondA nice, catchy tune that took a while to grow on me, here is one of the largest hits of the year. It had nice longevity, despite its low peak, yet it has burned on me due to constant overkill. 14. Heart Attack - Demi LovatoRun: 49-2-2-1-2-3-6-12-13-20-19-14-10-10-11-7-9-13-16-20-24-31-39Peak: 1(1) Weeks: 23 Points: 197,700 DiamondAfter Unbroken, I was excited for me from Demi. This did not disappoint, and it worked its way all the way to number one in only its fourth week. Still catchy, still good. This is a nice throwback song to mid-2013.13. Summertime Sadness - Lana Del Rey vs. Cedric GervaisRun: 43-22-13-9-8-7-4-2-1-1-1-3-5-7-11-14-17-18-21-24-30-32-39-42-44Peak: 1(3) Weeks: 25 Points: 209,300 DiamondRegardless of the fact that this is a remix of a song that I took all the way to number one in 2012, and the fact that this is the only way that she has had any kind of success on Pop, I still loved this. One of my favorite songs of the summer, and still one of my favorites of the entire year. 12. Sail - AWOLNATION Run: 49-45-44-41-38-34-31-7-1-2-4-6-11-15-21-13-13-13-14-16-19-21-22-26-35-41-48-out-50 Peak: 1(1) Weeks: 28 Points: 212,500 Diamond
This song has no burn rate. No matter how many times I hear it it is still as amazing as the first. This is evidenced by the fact that "Sail" has had the longest run of any song on my chart ever, at 60 weeks. Granted, this is split between 2011, 2012, and 2013, but still an impressive feat. I charted it originally because it was a single on Alternative, and when I heard it was getting a pop release I was excited. Thus, I charted it, and it hit number one for the first time. 11. Stubborn Love - The Lumineers Run: 39-39-36-31-30-25-23-19-8-5-1-1-2-4-5-7-9-11-13-16-19-23-27-27-35-41-43-45 Peak: 1(2) Weeks: 28 Points: 222,500 Diamond
"Ho Hey" did well on my chart, but it burned on me quickly. "Stubborn Love" is another story. I fell in love with this song over Spring. It ended up topping my chart for two weeks. I love the vocals on this, the video was nice, and it was just a nice song overall. 10. Royals - Lorde Run: 43-35-34-12-9-8-7-3-1-1-2-3-4-6-7-9-13-16-18-22-22-27-31-36-40-39-38 Peak: 1(2) Weeks: 27 Points: 222,500 Diamond *Still Charting*
Ahh Lorde. I give the credit of finding this song completely to Lozzy. This song wasn't instant, but once it clicked I fell in love. It was so catchy, and so good. I'm still not that sick of it, even though it is really old now. A great song to remember 2013 for. This song was tied with "Stubborn Love" in points, but I let this song take precedence because I love it more. 9. Just Give Me a Reason - P!nk ft. Nate RuessRun: 46-40-36-35-27-10-1-1-3-2-3-5-7-9-9-9-8-10-9-9-11-14-17-20-24-31-38-45Peak: 1(2) Weeks: 28 Points: 242,800 Diamond "Blow Me" and "Try" both became decent hits on my chart, and this song quickly surpassed both. It was just so good. I was excited for its run at the top of the Hot 100. It helped to break the tedium and it was just my favorite song to top the chart until "Royals" hit number one. Kind of burned on me now, but still nice. Great top ten longevity. 8. Clarity - Zedd ft. FoxesRun: 49-48-49-46-46-42-41-34-8-7-6-4-2-1-1-2-4-6-10-12-13-15-18-20-22-25-29-32-36-37-40-43Peak: 1(2) Weeks: 32 Points: 246,300 DiamondMy second number one (posted chart), this song was just so fresh. It still is, even if it has burned on me a little. I fell in love with this one after a while, and I felt it was such a worthy top ten hit. This song also had the luxury of dethroning "Radioactive", which was not easy. 7. Mirrors - Justin TimberlakePeak: 11-5-1-1-3-1-2-4-8-11-18-16-7-6-5-5-3-4-5-7-8-12-15-21-25-29-38-49Peak: 1(3) Weeks: 28 Points: 249,700 DiamondSuch a great song from Timberlake. I loved the theme, the production, everything. It shot to number one quickly, and I am disappointed it never topped the Hot 100. This song was pleasant for months, and then radio began to overplay it to a new level as I was starting to get tired of it. Thus, it fell quickly at the end of its run, and this prevented it from going any higher. I love it again now though. 6. Young and Beautiful - Lana Del Rey (vs. Cedric Gervais)Run: 1-1-3-4-6-8-8-13-16-19-21-27-36-40-35-42-out-46-49-42-37-29-27-26-16-16-10-8-4-3-2-1-6Peak: 1(3) Weeks: 32 Points: 258,200 Diamond *Still Charting*This song was an instant love. It became one of only two number one debuts this year, along with "Roar". I counted both the original and the remix for the points here, as there was only a three-ish week difference between the two runs, and the original heavily contributed to the remixes's run. This song also holds the record for the longest time between hitting number one. This song is still just amazing. 5. I Need Your Love - Calvin Harris ft. Ellie GouldingRun: 15-21-28-36-out-50-49-50-39-35-28-22-23-24-23-17-6-5-6-6-8-5-3-3-9-12-14-19-23-28-33-38-41-49Peak: 3 Weeks: 33 Points: 259,500 Diamond *Charted in 2012*My favorite song from 18 Months, this song combined two of my favorite artists, Calvin and Ellie. They made for an amazing combo, and I shot this song to number one when the album was released. It fell off quickly at the beginning of the year, however, as it was only an album track. It was released as a single, and it experienced some crazy longevity. I still love this.4. Gone, Gone, Gone - Phillip PhillipsRun: 46-41-41-40-36-33-30-25-20-22-12-10-12-14-10-7-7-3-1-2-5-7-8-6-7-9-11-14-17-24-30-36-41Peak: 1(1) Weeks: 33 Points: 268,800 DiamondQuite possibly my third favorite American Idol winner (after Kelly and Carrie duh), Phillip blew me away with his first two singles. This song just had no burn rate, and it became a nice summer and fall hit for me. It should have done a lot better imo.3. Demons - Imagine DragonsRun: 47-47-44-40-37-29-25-10-10-11-14-17-17-19-24-29-24-23-23-22-23-28-34-43-39-30-23-23-23-19-20-19-15-16-21-27-35-43Peak: 10 Weeks: 37 Points: 280,900 Diamond *Still Charting*I have mixes feelings about this song now. On one hand, I enjoyed it, hence the long run, but now I'm sick of it. Radio won't let it go, I've known this too long, and it just hasn't held up well. This is one of the reasons why I changed my points system, as I felt that longevity was too key a factor. Don't get me wrong, this song deserves where it got, but I feel that its low peak (competition in work) and the fact that it has burned on me prevent me from really seeing this as being this big. Hopefully this regrows on me soon. 2. Counting Stars - OneRepublicRun: 46-46-36-30-31-26-21-25-20-20-19-17-16-11-11-11-10-5-4-3-2-2-2-3-1-2-5-4-4-5-6-7-11-13-17-22Peak: 1(1) Weeks: 36 Points: 310,200 Diamond *Still Charting*My favorite album track off of Native, I had always wondered why this wasn't the lead single. It is too flawless. This song had crazy longevity, as it never burned on me, and is just now leaving the chart. I love that this has become such a big hit for them too. Should've hit number one tbh. 1. Radioactive - Imagine DragonsRun: 27-27-23-25-24-19-22-21-19-10-8-6-4-3-3-1-3-2-2-2-1-1-1-1-2-2-3-2-2-1-2-5-6-9-9-8-11-11-14-19-21-28-34-35-36-43 Peak: 1(6) Weeks: 46 Points: 406,900 Diamond *Charted in 2012* No surprise here. This song had a clear lead on everything else, being almost 100,000 points above "Counting Stars". It was the longest charter this year, and it also had the longest run at number one. I'm glad this song allowed them to have the success they did. It was my favorite song, my birthday number one, my graduation number one, and it was even in the top ten by the time I started college. This song is just special to me. I don't know why, maybe its just because it stuck with me. It started to burn on me late in the year, but I love it again now. This song has a lengthy portion of its run in 2012 too, and these two combined have given it the highest point total of any song (with my new points system at least), but I may work out some kinks.
Thanks to everyone for following, and I'm sorry for the delays. A recap will be posted soon. It was a great year for music, and for me, and I'm glad to be able to share this with you all.
