Oh, my mistake. I forgot that Demi Lovato hit No. 1 with "Give Your Heart A Break" and Demi is a month younger than Selena. So she holds the record now, in terms of the year they were born in.

So we get another song in the form "Word, Word, Word" In addition to Gone Gone Gone, there's been Dance Dance Dance, No No No, Fun Fun Fun and many others. I'm surprised at Kelly Clarkson's poor performance. There were no super-old droppers so we have 8 songs still fermenting in the lower half with more than 20 weeks on. They've used Billboard data for 2 weeks in a row: last week about the highest charting female duo and this week about the jump to #1 which Ryan described as 10 big "notches." Last week he said Icono Pop was the highest charting duo ever, but this week he said it was this century. What's up with that? Ryan did give props to Rihanna for her 200 consecutive weeks on the chart, the most by any artist ever.

I think Miley Cyrus was born later than JoJo, Demi and Selena. Oh, yeah. Because she hit No. 1 in 2009 with "Party In The USA". Silly me. I need to be more aware of how much I know my history of the American Top 40.
