Her winning AOTY was cute. I do think she deserved Female too; however, I see what they were doing.

This one really got me thinking The Miseducation.
Wondering if these dialogues are to be part of the extended version of Heaux Tales.

This is definitely giving me Miseducation and Lemonade vibes with these powerful messages of education and healing.
Do I wish the music was more on Reality Show level?.... kinda..... only so that this entire package can be just an iconic part of her career.
I'm so proud of the potential she's fulfilling - cause we saw her struggling with keeping on.

Singer Jazmine Sullivan started therapy to help her cope with her mom's breast cancer diagnosis"After going through that with her, I wanted to help other women possibly not go through what we went through, or help them on the journey as they are going through [it]," she tells Yahoo Life. "It is so crazy because I told my mom early on in her diagnosis that I believe that God was going to get her through this so that she can be a blessing to other people. So I'm so happy that I can do this and be a blessing — especially to Black women, because I love us." Why is it important to take care of your mental health when supporting a family member after a difficult diagnosis?
Breast cancer changes everything about your life. I've actually started seeing a therapist and I'm taking care of my mental health because that's something that you just need to kind of figure out. I've been looking up so much since [starting] therapy and getting that pain and everything that I went through out. Do you have a mantra that you follow?
Nothing specific, but just a daily reminder to put myself first, love myself, take care of myself, that I deserve the best in life, that anything that I'm faced with, I was already predestined to handle. Sometimes life comes at you quick and you'll be like, Oh my God, I don't know what to do. And then you take a second and [think], Actually I have all the tools that I need to get through this. So let me just calm down and I can get through it as I was destined for this anyway. What brings you joy?
What brings me joy, honestly, is just being alive. It's cliché, but the fact that my mom is still here on this earth... there is nothing more precious than life itself. And I don't need a lot of frills. I don't need a lot of accolades. I don't need any of that. Just the fact that I'm here and my mother is here and my parents are here. We're still able to laugh and just see each other, [and] that means the most to me. To breathe is a blessing. We have to really remember that — whatever we're going through, the fact that you're here, you can get through it. If you're still here on this earth, you can handle it.

Does she control her IG, cause it's a whole mess, and she even references Drag Race on some of them responses

Someone in the comment suggested she start a show titled "Tell Jazmine" and I need that to happen. It's gonna be a hit.

She was the absolute highlight for me on Rihanna’s fashion show. I have never seen that much Jazmine body, and hair, and face.
Girl you DID …………….. THAT.

This is kinda difficult because Doja is an R&B artist and Planet Her, despite being predominantly pop, is an album that heavily features R&B elements. Hell, they released a lead that features SZA and then "You Right", which is clearly an R&B songs by any standard.
I just don't like how media likes to force artists into these boxes. If anything, I feel like Doja pop-ularized R&B music in a way very few R&B artists were able to, similar to The Weeknd, and it's sad watching people dismissing that side of her artistry in this type of "this, not that" narrative. This is coming from a Jazmine stan who believes both women deserve all the flowers this year coming off their successful eras. (Heck, people should be thankful that it didn't go to H.E.R. because her album ain't it.)

I thought Doja Cat was a rapper though. It’s why we need separate contemporary and traditional R&B categories especially if her label is pushing Doja Cat as R&B. The Weeknd is also the same. This remind me when Ashanti, Beyoncé and Alicia were coming up; however, we at least had the categories and they were still singing too. These new “R&B” singers do more of talk singing rapping crap than provide vocals—Beyoncé made that trend quite popular; however, she can still provide background singing vocals when she does it. Anyway, back to Jazzy, she deserves an award from AMA.

It was not uncommon for Black artists to be nominated in the Pop album categories in the 90s but I also get that Doja stood a much better chance of winning by competing in the R&B categories.

All these “fans” complaining, how many of them actually voted for Jazmine for real though… AMA is fan voted, did they do their part? Speaking of awards, how come the winners of soul train awards haven’t “leaked” (since it was pre taped) besides Normani and silk sonic? NDA maybe???
