Well...this next Friday's gonna be pretty busy for me so it might be easier for me to hand it off for a week. Besides that though, I'm good. :)

Oh super. My volunteer fill-in for this decided to boardicide instead. Lovely. :( If anyone else would like to offer to fill in on weeks where Friday is bad for me, feel free to inquire within or by PM. In the meantime - on with the show, I suppose? April 18, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=C - "Dark Horse" spends its 9th week on top, but it looks like this could very well be its last. It lost just over two full points this week, and John Legend gained just over three, cutting the deficit to just over one-and-a-half.
- "Talk Dirty" jumps 6-3 with a little less than a two-full-point gain, but I'm guessing that will have to settle for #2 at best.
- "Turn Down For What" (10-9) sees a more sizable gain this week, gaining a little less than two full points. This could be a future top contender if it keeps coming back with more and more of the audience into it.
- "Not a Bad Thing" (18-16) and "Ain't it Fun" (22-19) continue to build, the former gaining a little more than one-and-a-half and the latter gaining just over two. Rixton, however, did not build on Week Two, dropping in Positive (but also Negative) and Familiarity and gaining in Burn.
- The highest debut of the week goes to "Fancy" at #21, which is showing a bit of a polarizing sign: On the lower end of Positive scores, much higher with Favorite score, but also the third-highest Negative.
- The next-highest debut, just over a full point away, is "Summer" at #23. This one's on the higher end of Positive scores, and has the second-lowest Negative (only "Classic" is, barely, lower). I'd say this one has potential to go the building way of Justin and Paramore.
- Trey Songz (27-26) actually gained just over three full points this week - but considering how low he started with, he's got a long way to go with this one.
- To my dismay, Neon Trees debut at #28. I'd say they're the Christina Perri to Calvin's MKTO with across-the-board lower stats (refer to two weeks ago) - except, Mediabase appears to have pulled "Human" from this chart for whatever reason.
- The final debut of the week comes in at chart bottom, #31. Not looking too good for "Mmm Yeah" - while it does come in with bare minimum Familiarity, it also comes in with rather low Positive and high Negative.
Currents/Recurrents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=CR - The jump for "Talk Dirty" here is 9-4. "Radioactive" retreats a bit, losing one-and-three-quarters, but since Katy's drop was larger the distance to #1 actually shrunk.
- This week's "Coming Back For More" award goes to "Titanium", which returns at #9. Runner-up: "One More Night", which returns at #11 after being well down in the 40s as recently as 3 weeks ago.
- Guessing this is the week of high returns..."Everybody Talks" also returns at #15.
- And high disappearing acts, too: "My Songs Know...", "The A Team", "I Knew You Were Trouble" (
surprise!), and "Locked Out of Heaven" all disappear again, from the 11-15 range. "Sail" also sinks this week as well, taking Gotye with it. - After disappearing two weeks ago, "The Other Side" is back yet again, at #28.
- Pink also returns twice in the 30s with "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" and "Just Give Me a Reason".
- Other returns: "Some Nights", "Don't You Worry Child", "Suit and Tie". Other disappearing acts (besides "Human"): "Brave", "Wrecking Ball", "Can't Remember to Forget You", "Whistle", and in what might be its first week gone - "Blurred Lines".
- Between all the debuts, disappearing acts, and returns, the chart manages to gain a spot in size, going down to 68 this week.
And for the first time in a couple of months, there are two Gold songs in the mix this week on their inclusive chart. "Super Bass" returns there at #36 and "Take Over Control" returns at #48.

April 25, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=C- There's a new #1 this week, as "All of Me" sends Katy packing. John Legend out-gained Jason DeRulo (#3) this week, punctuating that Jason's no real threat to John's rule.
- Quite a few songs are reaching new position heights this week, though for most of them it's due to the departures of "Say Something" (to recurrency) and "Young Girls" (ditto). New peakers include nearly everyone from #8 on down, but also "Pompeii", which jumps 7-4 despite basically holding in place points-wise.
- Hot Chelle Rae come in with a decent showing at #16. While their Positive score isn't overly impressive, they are among the lower Negative scorers, and their Net Positive is among the higher ones as well.
- The only other debut this week is "Find You" at #26, though there's probably no reason to go into that one since it'll be disappearing from the airplay chart in 2 days time.
- OK, never mind Familiarity drops always being odd - apparently "Summer" must have lost enough to fall below 60? It's not on the chart this week. (Actually, the same thing nearly also happened to "Red Lights". )
- The week's other departure is "Take Me Home", though that one too is on its way out the door.
Currents/Recurrents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=CR- This week's "Coming Back For More" award goes to "Everybody Talks", which jumps 15-8 and gains one and a quarter points. "Titanium" does jump 9-5, but it only gained just over half a point in doing so this week, and is actually slightly farther away from the top than it was last week (about 8 & 1/2 last week, compared to just over a full 9 this week).
- It's worth noting that the jump for "Pompeii" on this chart is 12-6.
- "Radioactive" hits kryptonite this week as it loses nearly three full points and drops 6-14.
- "One More Night", indeed...guess what? That's gone again. But guess who's come right back? "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark", at #16.
- Of Pink's two returns last week, "Blow Me" follows Maroon 5 out the door, but "Just Give Me a Reason" sticks around.
- Also returning: "Alive" (again), "Starships".
- Other disappearing acts (besides "Take Me Home" and "Summer"): "Suit and Tie", "Daylight". The chart goes down to 67 this week.
Currents/Recurrents/Golds: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=CRG"Stereo Hearts" returns at #22, and "We Found Love" returns at #34. No Gold songs disappear this week, so this chart goes down to 71 this week.

May 2, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=C - John Legend is, of course, on top for a second week; the gap widens to just over five full points separating the Top 2, which is double from last week.
- The only movement in the entire Top 10 sees "Team" and "Happy" swap places, with "Team" back up to #5 and Pharrell falling to #6. Yes, Pharrell's been bleeding points ever since he was dislodged from the runner-up position. Worth noting: He now has the chart's second-highest Negative, behind only "#Selfie".
- Speaking of Top 10s...Guess. Who. Still. Remains. MIA. Despite. Now. Being. Top 10 Airplay?
- Continuing their upward climbs are Justin (13-11, up ~1.5 points) and Paramore (15-14, up just under 3 points). I wonder if Paramore might leapfrog him on this chart soon. Justin's about 3.5 points out of the Top 10; Demi Lovato at #10 gained ~half a point this week.
- A rare week of re-entries - and this week, we have two of them! "Human" returns at #15, down a few points from where it last was three weeks ago. Position-wise #15 is a new high, but its Positives are lower, Negative is higher, and its Familiarity is also lower. Strangely more people call this a Favorite, though.
- Unsurprisingly, "Summer" is the other re-entry, at #20. Its scores are higher across the board versus two weeks ago (Pos. and Neg.), except for Net Positive which is down slightly.
- "Na Na" might prove to be a dark horse contender for a bit Callout hit - it posts the week's biggest point gain, up nearly five full points, and jumps 22-18. Breakdown: It gains nearly three points in Positive, and sheds five whole Negative points - going from among the higher Negative scorers to among the lower ones in one shot.
- On the flip side, Hot Chelle Rae post a very bad second week, losing nearly three full points and sliding 16-21. It posts slight gains both Positively and Negatively, but the real story is that it posts a drop in Familiarity nearly equal to its overall point loss.
- Actually, Hot Chelle Rae may not be the week's Biggest Loser: Disclosure drop ~3.75 points and post a nearly five-and-a-half point drop in Familiarity enroute to a 20-25 skid, despite holding steady in Positive and dropping a bit in Negative.
- The week's sole debut comes from 5 Seconds of Summer, who debut at an unimpressive #27 among the lower end of Positive scorers and middle-of-the-pack in Negatives.
- And lastly, after a few weeks' reprieve, The Chainsmokers return to chart bottom for what is undoubtedly their final week. This week, chart bottom is #30.
Currents/Recurrents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=CR - This week's "Coming Back For More" Award goes to...Fall Out Boy, again. But get a load of this go-round: Gains ~two-and-a-third Positive, just under two in Favorite, sheds ~one-and-a-half Negative, and gains four whole Familiarity points...enroute to a little less than six-overall-point gain and a leap from #16 to #4. It's now a little less than eight points out from #1. Au$tin do you follow this madness from week to week? B/c you really should.
- Meanwhile, last week's two 2012 movers both disappear again this week. Go figure...
- The recent top hits are showing their wear, though one of them, "Burn" rebounds from 11 to 7 with only a slight overall gain. "Radioactive" also rebounds from 14 to 10 despite an overall loss again this week. Point being: It's most of the other recent top hits that are bleeding points, thus causing action like this.
- "Locked Out of Heaven" returns again at #12, down a bit from where it was three weeks ago but up a bit in position.
- "Turn Down For What" breaks into the Top 20 on this chart, up 23-18. (It holds at #8 on Currents.) I neglected to mention earlier: It's up ~two-and-a-half points this week. Yeah...I think it has a good shot at going Top 5 on the Currents chart next week.
- "One More Night" comes back yet again, at #22 - down significantly from two weeks ago (though that was just a one-week pop-in).
- "Young Girls" posts a surprising 33-25 jump, higher than it ever was on this chart as a Current. But that's nothing compared to "Drunk in Love", which leaps from 39 to 26.
- "Neon Lights", #10 on the Current chart, is #33 on this chart.
- Also returning: "Treasure" and "Blurred Lines". Other disappearing acts: "Die Young", "The Other Side", "Just Give Me a Reason", "Don't You Worry Child", "Some Nights", "Starships", and "Find You".
- One other thing I will point out this week is that three other songs on this chart have sub-zero Net Positive scores - "Get Lucky", "Come & Get It", and "Blurred Lines", with only the last of which also having a Negative score >50.
- This chart goes down to 65 this week, which might be a new low since I've started tracking these.
Currents/Recurrents/Golds: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=CRGAll four Gold songs from last week's chart disappear this week. In their place this week: "Give Me Everything", which returns at #17. Worth noting, is that it's ~one-and-a-quarter points behind "Timber" (#14). "Take Care", at a much-less-impressive #40. The result is that this chart goes down to 67 this week.

Don't know why, but it updated again - "La La La" and "The Walker" enter. EDIT: Just a hunch, but I'm guessing the updates reflect the new panel. "La La La" comes in at #21, with pretty much middle-of-the-pack Positive and Negative scores. For Fitz & The Tantrums, however, the news is not great - MOTP Negative score, but also the fourth-lowest Positive score and the lowest Favorite score. Debuts at #24. Other notes: John Legend and Katy both drop slightly in points, while Martin Garrix and Justin Timberlake both gain slightly. The recurrent removals alone put JT in the Top 10 (#9), but Martin's gain allows him to pass "Classic" (who is among the majority whose points don't change) for #10. Other than that change, everyone else from 6-22 goes up two Vs. the original update. (Yes, two - "Hey Brother" had disappeared back on March 7, and never returned. ) The chart now goes down to 29. Currents/Recurrents now goes down to 68. Surprise! "Hey Brother" turns out to be the third song that wasn't there before; it returns at #24. "Team" has a tiny point loss, not changing its position. The return of "Hey Brother" causes everyone who was at #24-57 to drop one, with the following exceptions: "Not a Bad Thing" - holds position due to its slight gain. "Animals" - actually goes up one due to its slight gain. "Summertime Sadness" - drops an additional two as a result. "Classic" - drops an additional one. "La La La" comes in at #59 on this chart, and "The Walker" at #62. Also, "#Selfie" was pulled from the Currents chart, but remains on here. No changes were made affecting Gold songs, thus the only changes to that chart are the ones explained by Current or Recurrent changes.

Better late than never, I suppose... May 9, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=C - As John Legend spends his third week on top, Jason DeRulo moves up to #2 - but his chances of taking the top are pretty much nonexistent; he had a slight point loss this week. Next in line are American Authors (up one to #4) and "Turn Down For What" (up one to #5), with the latter only missing #4 by inches. It's going to be a while before either one takes over, though - there's still about fifteen-and-a-half points to go to reach John Legend at this point.
- But they'll both want to be wary of Justin Timberlake (up one to #8), who's only half that distance away from them and gained just over three points this week.
- Definitely a "gaining" week all around, with most songs gaining somewhere between two and four full points this week; just six songs lost even a fraction of a point - "Talk Dirty", "Dark Horse", "Happy", "Latch", "The Walker", and "She Looks So Perfect". In the case of "Latch" and "The Walker", Familiarity drop strikes again, with both losing over two whole Familiarity points. Actually, "The Walker" suffered a bad 2nd week as well, losing Positive and gaining Negative (which is also true for 5SOS; that gained a bit in Familiarity).
- SIX songs debut this week; the most I've ever seen on a single week, and probably the most we'll see in quite some time. With so many, let's review them in reverse order.
- "Birthday" comes in at #32, with the fifth-lowest Positive and the lowest Favorite, though Negative is middle-of-the-pack.
- "Loyal" comes in at #29, middle-of-the-pack in both Positive and Negative, and bare minimum Familiarity.
- "Am I Wrong" comes in at #21, with the third-highest Positive and the lowest Negative (and on the higher end of Favorite as well), but minimal Familarity as well (only "Loyal" has less). This sets a benchmark for the next two debuts to compare to...
- "Rude" comes in at #17. It has the sixth-highest Positive, the third-lowest Negative ("Classic" is the only other song lower), and a slightly higher Favorite score. It also has about five-and-two-thirds more Familiarity.
- "The Big Bang" comes in at #14, with the second-highest Positive and among the lower Negatives, though still several points higher than Nico & Vinz there, and with nowhere near their Favorite score as well. She also has over 14 more Familiarity points than them as well.
- But the winner in the debuts competition, is "Empire", coming in at #13. Familiarity makes all the difference here; of the six, it comes in with easily the most Familiarity (just over 80%), despite coming in with the second-lowest Positive of the six (only "Birthday" is lower). Its Favorite score is middle-of-the-pack, though its Negative is middle-to-lower end.
- All these debuts - and no songs disappearing under any circumstances - means the chart goes down to 34 this week.
Currents/Recurrents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=CR - Fall Out Boy, oddly enough, manage to hold at #4 this week (with a slight loss in points) rather than disappearing again or having a big drop.
- This week's "Coming Back For More" award goes to "It's Time", which returns at #8, about three points and six notches higher than its apparent soundalike. For that matter, it gives Imagine Dragons two songs in the Top 10 ("Radioactive" holds at #10 this week), and three in the Top 20 ("Demons" goes back up 23-20).
- A bit of a runner-up in the Coming Back For More department would be "Clarity", which unlike most recurrents this week posts a four-point gain and leaps from 30 to 22.
- Or maybe that honor would go to "Wild Ones", which returns at #25, easily much higher than it's been in months.
- Oop! Back again...after disappearing last week, "The Other Side" comes right back again, at #30.
- Perfect headline for this one would be It's Summer, Stupid..."Sweater Weather" loses about five-and-three-quarter points and plummets 17-35. "Summertime Sadness", on the other hand, sees no extraordinary chart action this week, gaining just over two full points and just one notch (42-41).
- But if you think that drop was crazy, chew on this: "One More Night" loses nearly ten points and plummets from 22 to 48. Also, LOL @ its Net Positive dropping to exactly zero.
- And after last week's surprising jump, "Young Girls" disappears this week. Joining it are "Alive" (again) and "#Selfie".
- Also returning: "Thrift Shop", "White Walls", "Slow Down", and a not-so-usual suspect: "Good Time".
- With so many debuts and returns and so few disappearing acts, the chart gains a whole ten notches this week, going down to 78.
On the Gold-inclusive chart, "Give Me Everything" goes back into exile, but "Take Care" remains (down 41-44), thus this chart goes down to 79.

May 16, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=C - John Legend spends a fourth week on top. He loses about half a point, while Jason DeRulo loses a little over one full point.
- Looks like JT might also threaten the top spot soon...he gains over three full points and jumps 8-6, while "Turn Down For What" gains about three-quarters of a point, inching up one to #4.
- MKTO finally reach the Top 10 after weeks of hanging around just outside, moving 11-9.
- Oddly, Kid Ink jumps 20-14 with over a four-point gain. Negative holds steady, while Positive is up a little over one and Familiarity is up by nearly six for some reason.
- "Loyal" looks to have the best second week, jumping 29-22 with over a seven-point gain, Positive up nearly just as much, and Negative down by nearly four. In contrast, the second weeks for both Shakira and Katy Tiz are f**king abysmal - Shakira's down about 5 & 1/2 points and Katy's down six; both drop six notches.
- Other second week reports: "Rude" (17-15) is up about two-and-a-third, Nico & Vinz (21-24) are down about two-and-a-quarter, and "Birthday" (33-28) is up just under six - owed mostly to a seven-point Familarity gain, as its Positive is only up slightly, Negative is down just under one, and Favorite is up two.
- The only debut of the week is "G.U.Y." at chart bottom of #33. Negative is middle-of-the-pack, but both Positive and Favorite are rock bottom - not that it matters much at this point, since it's not likely to last long here.
Currents/Recurrents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=CR - Fall Out Boy creep up to #3, and are now just half a point behind Jason.
- Nothing out-and-out crazy really stands out this week, so I'm giving this week's "Coming Back For More" award to "Clarity", which gains just over three points and leaps from 22 to 14.
- The gain for "Not a Bad Thing" this week causes it to leap from 36 to 23 here. It's still about two-thirds of a point and two notches behind "Mirrors", though.
- "Still Into You" and "Applause" sees their first disappearing act this week. Many more, along with many return go-arounds, are no doubt in their future...
- Speaking of which, after stepping out for a hot minute last week, "Young Girls" comes right back in, more-or-less where it left off (#26). Surprisingly, it is the only song to return this week.
- IT BEGINS: The not-too-surprising second go-round for "Summertime Sadness". Gains just under 3 & 1/2 points this week and leaps from 41 to 31.
- Meanwhile, "Sweater Weather" continues its descent, losing nearly six more and dropping to #49.
- Well after popping back in at #25 last week, "Wild Ones" loses 6 & 1/2 points this week and plummets to #43.
- Gone (again): "Same Love", "Slow Down", "Treasure", "Good Time". The chart goes down to 73 this week.
"Take Care" remains the only Gold in the mix this week; it holds at #44.

Well, this is certainly a surprise - this week's Callout chart isn't up as of yet. Obviously the people in charge of this at Mediabase took off early for the holiday weekend?

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. O. @ the update apparently being updated at...what, just after Midnight Saturday overnight? Just two hours or so after I logged off for the night? As I've been juggling several things today, I'm decidedly not in the mood to compile a full update currently. So, I'll go ahead and knock out the Current chart analysis, with the rest to come later - probably tomorrow? May 23, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=C - Fifth week at the top for John Legend. Seemingly no end in sight for the near future...
- I'll get to the Nicki hijinks in a moment, but in another odd event, Aloe Blacc flip-flops with JT in the Top 10, actually out-gaining him this week to go up to #6.
- Strong move for "Fancy" this week, as it leaps from 12 to 9 with nearly a five-and-a-half point gain, punctuated with a little less than a three-point gain in Positive.
- Still puzzled by the sudden surge for Kid Ink, as it leaps from 14 to 11 with a seven-and-a-half point gain - but with the song on its way to exile, it looks to be for naught.
- Pharrell drops six to #14 - large position drop, but he only lost about one-and-three-quarter points. Yes, the upper tier became significantly stronger this week.
- Yes, "Boss Ass Bitch" is this week's highest debut, at #15. Not even going to bother with a stats breakdown because I'm pretty sure it's not actually supposed to be there.
- Among actual Pop songs, the week's highest debut is "Problem", at #17. It comes in with the 4th-highest Positive, Top 10 Favorite, and Bottom 10 Negative.
- Katy Tiz continues her descent into oblivion this week, dropping six to #26 and gaining basically crumbs.
- Disclosure gain about four-and-two-thirds points this week, most of that also gained in Positive. But due to the strong competition this week, they only go back up two notches, to #27.
- Nico & Vinz also drop five to #29, though they gain about one-and-a-half points. This appears to be a case of them simply being outmuscled, due to debuts and stronger gainers, while they're still stuck in early life stages and aren't able to make necessary strong gains yet.
- Shakira slides eleven (!) to #30, with a drop of about two-and-two-thirds points and nearly two full Positive points. Yikes.
- Sam Smith debuts at #32 with middle-of-the-pack Positive, slightly better Favorite, and also the fourth-lowest Negative (third if you don't count Nicki).
- Ed Sheeran debuts at #34 with the fifth-lowest Positive, bottom 10 Favorite, and middle-of-the-pack Negative.
- Lastly, Afrojack debuts at chart bottom (#36) with the sixth-lowest Positive, rock bottom Favorite, and better-than-Ed-but-still-MOTP Negative.
- Also worth noting that Fitz & The Tantrums disappear this week.

Shakira's score is just brutal. With scores like that it's going to disappear from radio sooner rather than later.
Barring any late entries it's pretty clear what the songs of the summer are going to be based on these callouts.

Totally forgot to actually finish last week's. Going to do those first before launching into this week's. Still semi-important to do it this way cause there's a BIG surprise coming in the Gold chart. Currents/Recurrents: - In what may be very little of a surprise, "The Way" returns all the way up at #4.
- More surprising? "Love Somebody" returns yet again - right behind it, at #5. But, neither one of them earn this week's "Coming Back For More" award. :O So, who does? That's the Gold surprise still to come...
- More shocking than "The Way" but less surprising than "Love Somebody"? Fall Out Boy disappearing yet again from last week's #3.
- "Say Something" slides 8-14.
- On this chart, "Fancy" leaps 40-26 and "Show Me" leaps 46-31.
- Other returns (again): "Die Young", "Don't You Worry Child", "Starships", "Treasure". And "Applause" too after a week away.
- Other disappearing acts: "Locked Out of Heaven", "Young Girls", "The Other Side", "Sweater Weather" (most likely for the entire summer, I'm thinking), "White Walls", "One More Night", "Headlights", "The Walker", "G.U.Y."
Currents/Recurrents/Golds: So, "Take Care", the sole remaining Gold song, disappears this week. But, a new one returns in its place. And it returns...all the way up at #1. :O :O :O That song? "I Write Sins Not Tragedies". It returns a full three points ahead of John Legend, only slightly more than that also ahead in Positive. It also has the second-highest Favorite (behind only John), among the lower Negative scores, and is actually middle-of-the-pack in its Heavy Burn rating.

May 30, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=C- Sixth week at #1 for John Legend, and the fourth week at #2 for Jason DeRulo. Both drop just shy of two full points - the gap decrease between them? Tiny.
- "Dark Horse" 's recurrency means "Turn Down For What" moves up to #3 - with an even tinier point gain. It's not likely to be there long, because here comes "Fancy"! That leaps from 9 to 4 with nearly a three-and-a-half point gain. I'd say all signs point to it being the next #1 here.
- Paramore (10-6) also manage to leapfrog JT with a nearly two-point gain this week.
- Rixton reach the Top 10 this week (13-10), up about one-and-a-half.
- "Boss Ass Bitch", naturally, disappears, while "Problem" sees the oft-expected second-week hangover, gaining next to nothing this week.
- "Rude" continues to suffer the blues, down 20-23 and just over one-and-a-half.
- "Tennis Court" debuts at #25 with not-so-great Positive or Negative scores - tenth to the bottom in the former, 11th to bottom in the latter.
- "Am I Wrong" has managed to stop the bleeding, up 29-27 with a slight gain, while "Empire" has not, losing nearly another one-and-a-half (but still up 30-28 due to the disappearing acts)
- At first glance, Sam Smith doesn't fare much better, down about three-quarters of a point. BUT, his positive is up about 2 & 1/2, and while Negative is up about half a point, it's the Familiarity that drops about 1 & 3/4. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
- "Sing" fares better, up about 3 & 3/4 points, and about 4 & 1/2 in Familiarity.
- The other debut of the week comes from "Love Runs Out", at #31. Top 10 in Positive, and the second-lowest Negative (only Nico & Vinz is lower) - but, bare minimum Familiarity.
Currents/Recurrents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=CR- Both Ariana Grande and Maroon 5 remain after their high returns last week, though neither one even moves in points. But because "Dark Horse" dropped again this week, they both move up a notch.
- "Turn Down For What" reaches the Top 10 on this chart (13-9).
- Like on the currents chart, "Fancy" leaps half the distance to #1 - but in this case, that's 26-13.
- "Ain't it Fun" also jumps 28-17 on this chart.
- The bottom is starting to fall out for "Say Something"; it slides 14-25.
- Same story for "It's Time"...oh no wait, that just disappears yet again.
- Believe it or not, no songs return this week. The only other disappearing act not yet mentioned is "Wild Ones".
- This chart goes down to 72 this week.
Currents/Recurrents/Golds: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=CRG"I Write Sins Not Tragedies" remains on top this week, and remains the only Gold song this week. Like Ariana and Maroon 5, its points do not change, but due to John Legend's point drop, the gap at the top increases.

June 6, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=C - Seventh week at #1 for John Legend. He loses just shy of a full point this week. "Fancy" moves up to #2, with just over a four-point gain. I'm thinking next week will be the last week on top for John, then "Fancy" will take over.
- "Problem" leaps from 15 to 9 with a similar just-over-four-point gain.
- Shockingly, "Human" sticks around this week, up three to #11 while gaining next-to-nothing.
- Also shocking: "Tennis Court" leaps from 25 to 16. Its Positive barely goes up, but its Negative does drop by almost two points - enroute to just over a three-overall-point gain.
- "Am I Wrong" leaps from 27 to 21 with also just over a three-point gain. Also worth noting: It's now the song with the highest Positive score, a title it wrests away from John Legend this week.
- The highest of five debuts this week is "You & I", coming in at #23. The week's other debuts: "Forever" at #30, "Come With Me Now" at #31, "Wasted" at #32, and "First Love" at chart bottom of #34. See their individual threads for better details, but the bottom line: Not one of these five come in with particularly great callout scores, though only a couple of them are really horrible. Also worth noting: Of the five, only "You & I" comes in with >70% Familiarity - the rest are all in the 60s, though none of them are at bare minimum.
- Speaking of which, I probably should have expected this to happen - "Love Runs Out" disappears this week, most likely from dropping below that minimum.
- "Rude" drops another spot this week - though its Positive continues to go up, it bleeds another two-and-a-half Familiarity points.
- Yes, the bleeding continues for "Empire" (which holds at #28) - it's now the song with the third-lowest Positive score (only "Happy" and "First Love" are lower).
Currents/Recurrents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?VIEWID=&GRC=CR - Guess who disappears this week? If you said "The Way" and "Love Somebody", you'd be right.
- The recurrents in the mix last week mean that "Fancy" leaps from 13 to 2 on this chart. :O
- This week's "Coming Back For More" award goes to "Story of My Life", which leaps back up the chart half the distance to #1 (20-10) despite only gaining just over two points.
- "Neon Lights" leaps from 34 to 16 with a gain just over three-and-a-half :O - but, that one's not really coming back for more, in that it was never this high on this chart to begin with. Yes, #16 is a new high for the song with recurrents in the mix.
- Others reaching new heights: "Show Me", up from 27 to 20.
- Surprisingly, "Sweater Weather" returns this week, at #33 - a bit better than it had been doing a few weeks ago.
- "Say Something" continues to bleed this week, falling 25-34. Other bleeders this week: "Clarity" (12-19) and "Let Her Go" (22-30).
- The only other song to return this week is "Come & Get It". Other disappearing acts: "Drunk in Love", "Starships", "Treasure", "Get Lucky", and "Applause".
- For the first time in weeks/months, the song at chart bottom (#71 this week) is actually not a Current. Somewhat hilariously, this week that dishonor goes to..."Blurred Lines". :kii:
The situation on the Gold-inclusive chart remains the same this week - "I Write Sins..." is still the only Gold, and it's still #1 there. Its points are even still the same this week.

Wild wild love also jumps to #12 this week. :o ;) Excellent call out scores for this song, this shows that the general public is still rooting for Pit and I'm sure that when he comes out with a better song they will continue supporting him even more.
See radio, it's lies that Pit is hated by the general public. Don't pay attention to the negative critics. The call out scores say that people love listening to Pit on the radio.

That's only going to mean so much at this point, since the song's in death spiral at radio. Callout scores often keep rising for songs in death spiral regardless of plummeting spins, unless it was something like a Top 5 hit, whereupon scores have to start going back down at some point.

Due to other things going on (which many of you may or not be aware of ), I'll only be posting Currents today. If things change, I might update with more. Otherwise, those will come tomorrow. Hopefully. June 13, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?Sort=P&Archived=1&FORMAT=H1&SEX=3&AGE=3&GRC=C&TestDate=6%2F13%2F2014&newPage=Show+Report - Eighth week at #1 for John Legend. And...probably the last? He lost just over one point this week, and Iggy at #2 gained just over three. Assuming trends don't change drastically, "Fancy" should take over next week.
- The next most likely challenger looks to be, unsurprisingly, "Problem" (9-7), which gained a little less than four full points this week.
- HOLY ELEVEN-POINT JUMP FOR NICO & VINZ. :O They leap from 21 to 10 (!!!), punctuated by a little less-than-five-point gain. Most of that comes from Familiarity increasing by about five-and-a-third, though all their other stats increase a little as well (on both sides, good and bad).
- That means they leapfrog Lorde (16-11), whose own roughly two-and-a-half point gain comes largely from increasing that much in Positive and decreasing that much in Negative.
- Another large jumper this week is Ed Sheeran (25-16) with just over a three-point gain - though like Nico & Vinz, it comes largely from Familiarity increasing.
- Second week for "You & I": Up from 23 to 19 with a gain of about three-quarters of a point. Positive down by half a point, and Negative up almost two.
- Shakira stops the bleeding this week! ...sort of. Positive still down and Negative still up slightly, but she gained about a point and a half - from you guessed it, Familiarity.
- YOW @ the second week for "Wasted". Up from 32 to 25 with a six-and-a-third point gain. Also up nearly six (!) in Positive and down just over six-and-a-half in Negative. :O
- "Girls Chase Boys" debuts at #26, with decent (though not quite great) Positive and Negative, in the top half of the former and bottom half of the latter.
- Kongos' second week? Eh. Up from 31 to 28, up just over two & 1/2 points, also that much in Familiarity (plus Pos up slightly and Neg down just over one).
- "Wiggle" debuts at #29, easily at rock bottom in Positive, and easily the most-disliked song on the chart by even farther. Only reason it's not rock bottom on the chart? Coming in with ~76% Familiarity.
- J. Lo (34-30) has a second week similiar to Kongos, though her Negative went up instead of down.
- It's Haim (30-31) who probably has the worst second week, though: Actually decreasing in points, and losing four whole Positive points.
- "Chandelier" and "Shower" are the last two debuts this week, at the bottom two of #33 and #34. Both are on the lower end of Positive, though Sia easily has a higher Negative (overall third-highest, behind only "Wiggle" and "Turn Down For What") while Becky G's middle-of-the-pack there. Becky does have the lowest Favorite score by far, though.
Actually I'll toss in the Gold chart mention now. After three weeks of leading the pack, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" disappears this week. No other Golds come in to take its place, so there are no Gold songs this week.

This week's chart analysis will be delayed, unless someone else wants to fill in for this week.
Right now I'm recovering from a bad cold, and I'm still not well enough to analyze this properly. :(

...On second thought, I'm passing on last week entirely. I just have little-to-no desire to go through it, and TBQH I'd rather just move on to this week's. June 27, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?Sort=P&Archived=1&FORMAT=H1&SEX=3&AGE=3&GRC=C&TestDate=6%2F27%2F2014&newPage=Show+Report- "Fancy" went to the top last week; it remains there this week.
- The next closest contender appears to be "Problem" (5-4), which gains just under 3 points this week. It faces stiff competition in the form of "Am I Wrong" (9-5), however; that gains just under five and only about 1 & 1/2 separate the two. And oh yes, it continues to gain in Positive, up to a staggering 67.25% rating there. It's also still easily the least-disliked song on the chart currently; suffice it to say this song has no business not reaching #1 both here and in spins eventually.
- "This is How We Roll", after debuting at #7 last week, slips one to #8, but in truth its scores didn't change at all this week - which has happened before. All of its scores except overall Pop score and Familiarity have exact ratings without decimals, however.
- "Stay With Me" blasts 19-10, with a little less-than six-point gain - while gaining about the same amount in Familiarity. That said, it's in much the same situation as "Am I Wrong" - that's the only song with a lower Negative, and one of a few with a higher Positive.
- "Come Get it Bae" is the sole debut this week, coming in at #27 with the fifth-lowest Positive and middle-of-the-pack Negative scores.
- The chart goes down to 34 this week.
Currents/Recurrents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?Sort=P&Archived=1&FORMAT=H1&SEX=3&AGE=3&GRC=CR&TestDate=6%2F27%2F2014&newPage=Show+Report - This week's "Coming Back For More" award goes to "Say Something", which returns after stepping out last week - at an overall new peak position of #2, just half a point behind "Fancy". :o
- On the other hand, a pair of Top 5 disappearing acts this week - "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark" (AGAIN!) from #3, and "Still Into You", which was up to #5 last week.
- Owing to the crazy contrast between this and the Currents-only chart, on this one "Problem" blasts 14-5, "Am I Wrong" blasts 24-7, and "Stay With Me" blasts 48-28. "Mirrors" also blasts 29-17 with a nearly four-point gain.
- "Summer" (38-30) and "Summertime Sadness" (27-29) are back-to-back this week.
- Other returns: "Drunk in Love", "Give Your Heart a Break", "The Way" (LOL @ coming back at #40 after its Top 5 pop-in last month), "Love Somebody", "Die Young".
- Other disappearing acts: "Royals", "Little Talks", "Wild Wild Love", "Roar", "Blurred Lines"
- This chart goes down to 71 this week.
Currents/Recurrents/Golds: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?Sort=P&Archived=1&FORMAT=H1&SEX=3&AGE=3&GRC=CRG&TestDate=6%2F27%2F2014&newPage=Show+ReportThere are two Golds in the mix this week - "Lights", at #43, and "Take Over Control", at #49. Both return this week, and last week's sole Gold, "We Found Love", disappears this week.

"Classic" still has a burn % of less than 10% despite being in the top 50 for over half a year.

I'd say that'd be owed to lower Familiarity with the song for much of that time, except that it's been on the Callout chart since mid-February. So...yeah.

July 4, 2014Currents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?Sort=P&Archived=1&FORMAT=H1&SEX=3&AGE=3&GRC=C&TestDate=7%2F4%2F2014&newPage=Show+Report - Third week on top for "Fancy". Over 8 points separate it from #2.
- Less than three-quarters of a point separate #2 from #4; on the chart page their Pop Scores appear to be tied. #2 is "Problem" (4-2), up a little more than two full points, #3 is "Am I Wrong" (5-3), up a little less than three-and-a-half, and #4 is "Ain't it Fun" (3-4), up a little more than one point.
- "Stay With Me" rockets 10-6 with just under a seven-point gain; it gains roughly the same in Familiarity. Indeed, "Am I Wrong" 's own point gain also mirrors its Familiarity gain this week - that is to say, Sam Smith will likewise begin to plateau soon. He still trails them in both Positive and Negative (the latter meaning Sam has a bigger Neg).
- Joining their club is "Rude", blasting 14-7 with its own gain just under five-and-a-half.
- Hilariously, "This is How We Roll" drops 8-14, dropping in Positive by four points and rising in Negative by just over two-and-a-half.
- The highest debut this week is "Really Don't Care", coming in at #16 - much higher than how "Neon Lights" started. Neither its Positive nor Negative are overwhelming in either direction, but both show promise, as its Positive is middle-to-higher, and Negative is middle-to-lower.
- "Bailando" comes in at #27, actually showing more promise - it comes in with Top 10 Positive (at this point, your positive needs to be 61% or higher to rank that high) and Bottom 10 Negative. Why's it #27 while Demi/Cher are #16? Almost 20 less Familiarity points.
- "Maps" debuts at #30. Not a lot of love for it yet, as it's trending toward the bottom end of Positive, but not a lot of hate for it either, as it's also the third-least-disliked song.
- "Love Never Felt So Good" debuts at chart bottom of #32, with an even lower Positive and a higher Negative.
Currents/Recurrents: www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/call/callout.asp?Sort=P&Archived=1&FORMAT=H1&SEX=3&AGE=3&GRC=CR&TestDate=7%2F4%2F2014&newPage=Show+Report - I imagine this will surprise no one, but "Say Something" disappears after its #2 pop-in last week. This week's "Coming Back For More" award, though, goes to another high return - "Feel So Close", which returns at #3.
- "Mirrors" might be a good runner-up for this, though - it leaps from 17 to 10.
- "Stay With Me" blasts 28-9 on this chart, and "Rude" leaps 34-19. Meanwhile, the drop for "This is How We Roll" is 16-46.
- Returning yet again is "Locked Out of Heaven", at #18. Also returning: "I Love It", "Royals", "White Walls", "Roar", "Wrecking Ball".
- Other disappearing acts: "Drunk in Love", "Empire", "Sleeping With a Friend"
Currents/Recurrents/Golds: "Lights" remains this week, moving from 43 to 40. "Take Over Control" disappears, but in its place, "Good Feeling" returns at #53.
