Well this will obviously outlast Firework at the rate it's going...any chance this will outlast Roar? Seeing as Roar is increasingly likely to drop off short of 39 weeks, I'd say DH will pass it first. =P Edit: It occurs to me you may not realize that songs go recurrent and are removed from the Billboard Top 100 when they drop below #50 once at least 20 weeks of age. So, Roar is now 2 positions away from elimination, not 52. =P

It's crazy how strong the callout for this still is. This might be the #1 song on the year-end for CHR.

I heard a non-rap version of this on the radio that I really liked. During what would be the rap part, it just had the lines "Make me your aphrodite" and "make me your one an only".
Has anyone heard this version and know what it's called?

Has anyone heard this version and know what it's called? I heard it before on the radio. I don't know what it's called. It was just Katy Perry singing "Dark Horse" without having Juicy J on it.

Didn't know this was still open :)
Some stats: -US digital sales: 4,887,000 -33 weeks on the chart; moves 3-5 (ties Teenage Dream's weeks on the Hot 100, only Roar (35) Hot N Cold and Firework (39 each) are ahead.). -18 weeks in the top ten (ties Hot N Cold and Firework's weeks in the top ten, only ET (20) is ahead).
Safe to say that this will be her biggest US hit.

And DH will become her 6th 5-million seller, extending her lead for the artist with the most.
6, Katy Perry (Firework, E.T., California Gurls, Hot N Cold, Roar, Dark Horse)
3, Eminem (Love The Way You Lie, Lose Yourself, Not Afraid) 3, Lady Gaga (Poker Face, Just Dance, Bad Romance)
2, Adele (Rolling In The Deep, Someone Like You) 2, Black Eyed Peas (I Gotta Feeling, Boom Boom Pow) 2, Bruno Mars (Just The Way You Are, Grenade) 2, Flo Rida (Low, Right Round) 2, LMFAO (Party Rock Anthem, Sexy & I Know It) 2, Maroon 5 (Move Like Jagger, Payphone) 2, Kanye West (Stronger, E.T.) 2, Rihanna (Love The Way You Lie, We Found Love) 2, Taylor Swift (Love Story, I Knew You Were Trouble.)

I am still hearing Dark Horse on the radio more than Happy so it seems Dark Horse might outlive Happy. Birthday is on too but not as much.

This is still flawless and refreshing in my ears. No wonder it'll be the #1 song of the year when all is said and done.

I'm still not calling this her biggest hit quite yet. With the current Hot 100 formula, almost all of her TD songs would have spent way more weeks in the top 10 + Hot 100.

I want 52 weeks on the Hot 100. Your wish will definitely be fulfilled with this song it seems. I still love it so much than any other PRISM tracks. And whatever people say, I enjoy the video a lot unlike "Snore".

Dark Horse becomes Katy's longest-charting US hit with 40 weeks. It holds 11-11 this week on the Hot 100.

With the current Hot 100 formula, almost all of her TD songs would have spent way more weeks in the top 10 + Hot 100. i guess one way to tell is to compare DHs runs in the T10 charts on airplay and sales with those of ET. I neglected streaming since it wouldn't be fair to compare 2011 to 2013/4.
