Whats happening on iTunes? this was number one and now currently 0.9 while Happy is 0.4? I thought Happy was way above everyone?!

The single (standalone) version of Happy (which occupied #1 yesterday and before) was removed from iTunes to allow the album version (which was just recently placed on preorder) to rise and give exposure to his upcoming album. The album version is now at #4 and should return to #1 very soon.

Replace single version with soundtrack version, and it is still there but album-only, and you got it. :) I was surprised to see John Legend pass this. I didn't realize he was so close. |

Really love the scenes of her on the boat and the outfits in general. I just wish it wasn't so corny at times. I feel that if they went for a dark theme throughout the video with some proper choreographed dance sections, it would have worked better and been really good.

The video just makes absolutely no sense. Katy's videos are always such ridiculously literal interpretations of the lyrics of the song but now she has gone completely the other way and made a video which has absolutely no tie to the song whatsoever. I noticed she managed to get a literal perfect storm in though...I was surprised when there was no literal Dark Horse like the Grammy performance.
When the beat drops after the chorus is so awesome it deserves way more visually than that lame arm flick.

Will watch the video later when I'm home, but it seems she's released another video ready for Illuminati analysis by the vigilant citizen I actually agreed with most of their perception of the Grammy performance. I usually laugh at the comments from that site but sometimes the subtle messages are really obvious ! |
