Why hasn't radio jumped on Wrecking Ball yet? They seem to be behind. It hasn't been released to radio yet. But if they wanted they'd be playing the song anyway, right? I think radio is not to eager to play Miley's music and I don't get why (they somehow neglected We can't stop, despite the massive sales)

BL's dropping is actually a bit slower than I imagined. That could be, in part, that formats like AC, where still gaining, Hot AC and Urban AC tend to drop more slowly than Pop. It's weird that it even gained slight audience on Urban, though dropping spins.
Roar, other the hand, while it will eventually pass BL, is capped because it won't get airplay on Urban/Urban AC and probably nothing on Tropical and only a little bit on Spanish. Honestly, Roar's pop gain have really impressed me.

It seems "Roar" is guaranteed another week at no. 1. I would say another two or three weeks, but you never know what kind of crazy might happen in the internet next week... Coming for Roar's wig! :'(

Miley's a big name, but not quite there yet. Though, if "Wrecking Ball" is an look into the future, I'd say this era could turn her into that kind of artist.

Yes The Fox could be the next #1. Not this week but maybe next.
Depends on the sales. Some Youtube phenomenons don't take off in sales.

I think if it does take off, then it has more potential than Gangnam Style or the Harlem Shake, it sounds like a song radio would support more than the previous viral hits.

LOL, I don't see that song even reaching "Harlem Shake"'s peak on radio.
If that were to blow up virally, it would be like Rebecca Black's "Friday." Everyone watches it because it's awful, so its digital sales would actually be fairly low and have virtually no airplay.

And its streaming potential isn't even that high because it's not becoming viral as organically as those previous hits did

Why the hell is Mirrors gaining??? It had small positive updates on Pop/HAC/Rhythmic/AC. Added together made for that large gain. Quite hilarious though!

Maybe because radio prefers it to "Take Back the Night?" TLC on the verge of a top 20 airplay hit- albeit, a "featuring," but still. AR-J- I read the track goes for official top 40 airplay on Sept. 16? In this instance, the impact date could help with label promotion, since neither J Cole or TLC have had huge success in recent memory at pop radio (J Cole had one top 15 hit last year, and two others that didn't fare as well).

I do hope something comes out soon and just pushes Catty Purry to the curb... I have even called the radio station here and asked if they had anything else they could play.

I really hope "Crooked Smile" can push up those final few spots on the Hot 100 into the Top 40. Beyond just thinking it's a really good song on its own, it would make my heart warm to see TLC in the top 40 again. :)
