When will we get a studio version? I think the other song would have fared better.

If they put in some fiddles... or what-not. I think this could actually do okay on Country. It's not that bad.

I too want to hear the studio version, unless that is the studio version..her vocals are better there, sounds like they have been tinkered with.. ???

I think this song could do a lot, if it's remixed. I am starting to like it, I love the lyrics.

I hope they remix it for country radio. I really love the song and her voice. I'm not a big fan of female artists, but she has something special.

Like I've said from the very beginning, this shouldn't even be released to country since they are getting away from the pop side.

But It definately has the potential to be country, and an off-chance of actually being a hit if remixed.

I really like this song. I can see it having potential to have more of a country taste to it. I hope it does well.

Looks like Country radio is already opening up to Carrie. Her duet with Rascal Flatts already has 102 spins

I liked the other song better since she had the big notes but I think as I hear the song more I'm sure it'll grow on me--I am so excited that she won! I loved her from day 1.

I don't know why this cover says Independence Day because that is not her single, but, on Kelly's, Ruben's, and Clay's, it said two title's, including the non-singles, but I thought they changed it since they didn't for that on Fantasia's or Diana's.

Okay, this is on the very edge of country, I do hear a hint of steel guitar. But I still think they will play it anyway..maybe AOL doesn't have the country version up..

No sign of Carrie on the Billboard Top 60 this week, either solo or with Rascal Flatts. Neither song has a bullet on the daily R&R.

She does debut on the Pop 100 at #84 though with Independence Day.

I heard Blair Garner mention on his 'After Midnite' show a couple of nights ago that her CD would include her version of what for my money is THE best country single done by a female in the past fifteen years, Martina McBride's stupendous 'Independence Day'.
Ms. Underwood can sing, but I don't know if she should be tackling a song which was flawless the first time around.

Inside Your Heaven and Independence Day will both be on her album, I'm totally positive of that.

I don't know if "Independence Day" will end up being on her album b/c it's her track from the American Idol compilation album AND will be on the single. Then again Ruben Studdard recycled "Superstar" like 10 times. But I don't think it should be released to radio at ALL - I think Martina's original is still a strong gold I think, and I can't think of any station that would drop hers for Carrie's.
The recorded version of "Inside Your Heaven" sounds a bit more 'country' than the live one does, with the steel guitar and all. Country radio seems to want to play Carrie, so they might stretch a bit to add it, but it could be more likely that they just wait for whatever the first single off her album is.

They should have made a country cut of "Angels Brought Me Here" and sent it to radio... instead of this... I could have seen Country really giving it a chance, plus it was her "winning" performance.

The version she sang on the Opry last night was really country, had the steel guitars and everything. You don't hear that as much in the recorded version

I love Carrie and think she'll do well in the country market. Hopefully once she makes the required 'pop' album for the AI label she will then shift to country - which is what she wants.
Bo Bice is also recording a version of Inside Your Heaven and Vehicle for his forthcoming cd.

Were you there? Do you have an mp3? Maybe there is a country version... ??? Here's the audio from Carrie's Opry performance. She sang a full version of Cryin and Inside Your Heaven. It went pretty well except she fumbled the lyrics on the first two lines of the 2nd verse s38.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2C5ZRPUNXZUKI3CC5TT9RDLTIRAs for Carrie having to record a required pop album for the label, I don't think that's going to happen. Having her in Nashville this week and meeting with some big Nashville writters and producers is pretty much the evidence needed that she will be making a country record

Carrie has said that she is sticking to country music. Clive Davis said her album will be country/pop. I hope it has more country than pop because Nashville is accepting her.
