Now that the Warrior era is over, it's time for a new thread. On her new album, we don't have any confirmation that she started recording it, we only know that she was on the studio, but nothing official about it. Let's hope that it won't flop like Warrior, that was (still is) one of the best pop records this decade, so many hits in it! Join to the discussion and show her some love ♥

I agree @ Warrior being one of the best pop albums of this decade. So underrated, yet so cohesive and lyrically brilliant. Past Lives is tied with The Harold Song as my favorite Ke$ha song ever rn.
So excited for new music, and everything to come. Hope her next album can run smoother but be equally as great.

Warrior is a great album, but the best tracks are not radio-Ke$ha, and she needs to grow some balls and say NO to those who want that typical Ke$ha sound from here on out.
OWBWY and Last Goodbye were begging to be released. :(
she could've been a total "Katy Perry" if her label allowed her to be one, and some alternate decisions were made.

Aww... this new thread makes me sad. It's like the official end to Warrior. :(
It does suck that Warrior didn't sell well, but I loved it and that's what matters the most to me. Regardless of what happens to her career, I'll still be a fan as long as she keeps putting out music in some kind of way. I think Ke$ha's amazing, and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next. Hopefully, we don't have to wait that long for a new album, and I'm crossing my fingers that RCA doesn't fuck it up.

I think if Ke$ha can find a good balance to her music, I will always like her. I love her mainstream stuff, ala Die Young and Tik Tok and I want her to continue in that vein. But I also want her to make music she loved/enjoys like Dirty Love and Machine Gun Love. I'd hate for her to make an entire album of those though.

What happened to the video of Supernatural? The only "confirmation" we had was her facebook status saying something about Supernatural, but now I think that she said that only because that was the name of the first episode of her show :(

She's stated to go back into the studio next spring. Nothing is set in stone...but a new album could be released next year.

Just want her to be over tbh. I get what she was doing and she's inoffensive and yay partying and bringing joy to the world blah blah, I just think she's uninteresting.

I mean while we're on the subject, "Past Lives" alone is better than 98% of all music created ever. Just want her to be over to be honest. I get what she was doing and she's inoffensive and yay partying and bringing joy to the world blah blah, I just think she's uninteresting. Are you lost? This isn't Katy's thread...

I really hope she releases in a slow month. Warrior proved she can't succeed quite yet in competitive months. Release in a slow month, let her rack up another #1 album, and go from there. If she can follow the chart performance of Animal (#1 single, #1 album, steady sales to platinum, Id be happy)
And better videos this era pleaaaase!!! Die Young was near perfect, but C'mon and Crazy Kids were the worst of her career.

I keed, I keed . But the comment about Kesha being uninteresting is a good one, and one that is partially the fault of the record label. I remember being surprised when they didn't push her into the public eye more when Tik Tok and her debut blew up. They should have tried to establish her as some kind of public figure or persona when they had a clear chance. That's what Capitol did with Katy during her debut with all those hosting spots and interviews. I honestly believe that that helped her maintain some kind of spot in the public consciousness during that period between WUIV & CG when Gaga & Kesha were smashing hard.

She is actually the most interesting and multi-dimensional female pop star out there right now. I know she is being marketed with a certain image, but that image is not at all congruent with the body of work on her albums. Very nice to meet my fellow Kesha fans in here :). Am I the only one who prefers Animal?

^What kind of voodoo? ...cool, I guess. Anyways, just came here to say that after Thanks Giving dinner and waking up from my temporary food coma, my family and I spent the rest of the night watching the second season of MCBL where I aptly discussed her and helped them see the light. Also In the Escalade, In the pimp brigade, Going to a masquerade, We're gangsters We’re are rolling in the escalader We’re gangsters (shake) Shake that **** Shake those **** Shake those **** Like we dancing -- LOL, I just love her

I have never watched her MTV series before. Is it worth watching?
Does it showcase her in a more positive and serious light?

IMO the show, while nothing groundbreaking, does a very good job at showcasing her as human and very relatable. You get to know what upsets her and what gets her going. Plus it gives good insight on what it really is like to live your life on the road and also insight about the type of music she wishes she could record if she had her way. Again nothing groundbreaking but I personally consider it a breath of fresh air to have a show that's actually related to music on MTV. Plus she's fun and the show is a very nice treat to her fans.

She was announced as a performer for X Factor's finale today (alongside Pitbul), but he ended up performing it alone. Did anything happen?
