Does anyone know why "The Monster" sales are so low? It's been at #1 the whole week... Complete My Album transactions, is the best reasoning. I'm new to this as I don't use iTunes much. But are you saying that those 150k are the ones that bought the song and didn't take advantage of their complete my album thing, right? |

In a battle of superstar releases, Celine Dion’s “Loved Me Back To Life” (Sony) debuts at number one on the Top Albums chart with 105,727 units sold. It is her 13th chart-topping album in the SoundScan era and 11th release to debut at the top. It is the best one week sales total for any release since 2008, when AC/DC’s “Black Ice” sold 119,000 units in its debut week of release. Michael Buble's Christmas soars 116-34* this week; based on that, chances of a return to the top 10 are looking pretty good.
I figured Pentatonix may be top 10, as BB wrote about it, but mentioned no chart position.

I'm surprised the 8 Mile soundtrack didn't re-enter. I guess most people associate that with not Eminem despite him having multiple songs and involvement on the production, writing, etc. Also, would be cool to see The Re-Up numbers as well from his discography. Does anyone have any of the latest numbers from either of these?

The RIAA doesn't credit Eminem with 8 Mile, either. He's only credited on four of the 16 tracks, though, and only one on the bonus disc that comes with it.
