So no chance of black Beatles making the cut? No, Thank You God, that N1 points loss it will sure bring problems to that song in 2017 year end, I get happy. Don't wanna that one to be 1 next year.

What's happen if Billboard Hot 100 was a personal chart from an user in this forum? And also, if this user uses crownnote.com/ (Yes, a little of promotion isn't bad) So, I took all the charts an used the formula (given by Kurt) to bring this. Hot 100 Year End Chart by Crownnote.

So yeah. Tonight we'll get a taste of what we're ultimately in for. Then we can start preparing for next year! Also George, it may seem like a minor thing after all of this, but don't forget to update the Decade-End predictions now that it's been four weeks

So, my final thoughts: - If even one of Sorry's first three weeks were counted towards this year, it would've likely been #1. - I hope Drake takes a long break from recording after that collab album with Kanye drops. I am so freaking sick of him at this point. Taylor Swift dominating 2015 was one thing, but Drake is far less of a real personality. - Please let that positioning for Heathens be true 21 weeks, 21 Pilots, #21. That'd be so fitting. - In before gravey prays to god that WDYM will be one position lower so it ends up at #33 both years. - I Hate U, I Love U proved to be quite a sleeper hit, with 30 weeks on the chart and making #10. Kinda like Photograph from last year, except a bit lower and with two weeks at #10 instead of just one. - Hopefully after this we will never hear from Meghan Meghans ever again. - It's too bad that Never Forget You couldn't make the Top 40. Would've loved for that. - Dang at Starboy, even if it weren't for those first two days it still would've ended up in the high 60's. Very impressive. - If it weren't for the 52/25 rule, I have a feeling that Uptown Funk would have ended up somewhere between For Free and White Iverson. Just a random assumption. - I mentioned in another thread how erratic Sucker For Pain's chart run was, and I thought it'd die out quickly after Suicide Squad hype, because posse cuts don't usually hold very strong. Turns out not, as streaming was pretty kind to it. - So Lemonade was able to squeeze (no pun intended) one single that managed to make this cut, although 6 Inch or Freedom definitely would've been better. - If Middle had one less week, we would've had three songs that peaked at #20 and only had 20 weeks. - Something told me that When We Were Young would be #82. Totally deserved to be a Top 10 hit though. - The fact that we have two songs here that didn't even make the Top 40 is actually kinda sad when you really think about it. Just goes to show how inviting this year was to songs that don't peak high. - I'm sad that Confident and You Should Be Here most likely won't make it. They were two of the best songs of the year if you ask me. - So Black Beatles ends up being like Sorry last year, while 24K Magic ends up being like Blank Space in 2014 (but not really, seeing as it definitely won't be as big). - Let's hope that The Greatest, Scars To Your Beautiful, In The Name Of Love and Do You Mind can make up for their wasted points here and make next year's list. - Fun fact, Hasta El Amanecer debuted on the 7/30 chart, the week before Make Me... and Rise did, and here that songs ends up sandwiched between them. - So Perfect Illusion failed to even make the lower 100, huh? Just goes to show how little fanfare it received. Shame though because I do like the song. - Given all those random re-entries it made, I'm also surprised that Ophelia wasn't there, either. I'm sure I have more to say, but this is all I can think of for the time being. Just wanted to make a post like this right now. Also, jarhys, you forgot Ex's and Oh's (#73/#63). So 13 and possibly 14. Wow.

So, Stressed Out ended up 8k behind Panda on George's predictions. This would mean that Stressed Out actually could pass Panda, but I don't think it will :( Poor Black Beatles ending up about 7k behind #100 :( Oh, and I still hope What Do You Mean? can finish #33 and Same Old Love can finish #42

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you 2016's FINAL PREDICTIONS Thanks george! It turns out that I was able to get the same prediction (if I'm not wrong) using the one from the week before and a couple of predictions for this week's Hot 100 which pointed to Hymn for the Weekend dropping out and gave me a rough estimate of the weekly points of the songs still charting. I can't wait to see how close your prediction was to the one published by Billboard in about 3 weeks.

Quick Note: Ex's And Oh's repeats from 2015 also But I just wanted to say thanks to George for doing this, 2016 I feel had some really small hits such as Perfect and Cut It that normally would never make a year end hot 100, and so it's been super fun watching the year progress and trying to figure out which song would be number 100. Thanks

Have somebody realise that the contender of WDYM to be 33 in both years, while is set to be 32, is similar to Close 67 positions? Chains by Nick has hold the 68 spot last year, will Close do the same? But, I don't really have no words to describe the rage I feel for Close not be a top 40 year end hot 100 worth, danm, the song is pretty good, while not even Bacon charted in hot 100...

Artists having songs be same Year End position in different years is common.
Akon had Locked Up and Lonely at 44 in 04 and 05. Eminem had Superman and Just Lose It at 98 in 03 and 04. Bruno Mars had The Lazy Song and It Will Rain at 26 in 11 and 12. Ludacris had 3 songs at 77, Southern Hospitality, Rollout, and Get Back, 2001, 2002, and 2005.
and of course theres many more than just these.
I won't say this is rare at all.
Justin Bieber WDYM being same year end for 2 years in a row, now that is rare.

I can't believe we are already at the end of the charting year. Time flies. I am not gonna be making predictions, since George's final predictions for the year are the same as mine.

This was such a stagnant year for music. Hopefully it will be better next year. Shoutout to George for doing all of this! :)

Justin Bieber WDYM being same year end for 2 years in a row, now that is rare. I thought it was a little rare. Sorry, I'm not so fã of charts. In the truth, I don't like'em. But they are the only metric for I know if the artists I like are doing well with their releases. I don't like charts because for me they (especially billboard) doesn't are impartial, and they can't exactly show what's the most popular songs. Just like, Billboard hot 100 works by streaming, radio and digital. First: Streaming, OK, the people hear songs in Spotify and play videos on vevo, but if you see, the videos that are more viewed are from the artists with the biggest fanbase, look at Justin Company, it was a commercial failure, but its video had more than 100m, not because the song, but because is a Bieber Video, the fans will watch it many times for help him get views, not because they like, it's something like that I wanna say. The same happens in Spotify: His fans , or Rihanna's, Grande's and other big fanbase artists could put they song to play in Spotify, without even hearing to it, just to count to the charts. Streaming is really a immesor of popularity, but you got to agree that not 100% of the plays are "really" spontaneous. Second: Digital, the people could simply download a song, here one time, don't like and erase, just like this. Just because a person bought a song it made it Popular? Radio: What's played in radio are songs from artist of the moment. Why a song by Adele never fails in radio? Because she's famous. Why songs by Rihanna, swift, Drake doesn't decrease in radio easily? Because they are what's in media. This year, any Drake single wasn't flop on radio, while others wonderful songs like Body Say (hit in Spotify) hadn't even a chance to be played. The truth is: Radio is mafia, radio doesn't play songs because they are good or not, they play the songs that the artists pay more. So hot 100 counts those 3? And dance club songs, why not, songs played in clubs throughout the country is a good immesor of popularity. While the illegal downloads? One song could just have 30k paid downloads, but if that one was downloaded 10000000 times illegally, because popularity doesn't necessarily respects the law. And those sptupid rules 52/25 20/20? That's one reason why hot 100 doesn't is exactly, if wasn't for that rule Uptown funk Could make year end, the song remained in recurrent all the year, so it keeps it's popularity, but without showing on hot 100? Why the hell those stupid rule exist? Charts aren't true, they are manipulated.

And dance club songs, why not, songs played in clubs throughout the country is a good immesor of popularity. the thing is is that the songs that generally chart on the dance club songs chart don't have much reach, for example, the current #1, "believe" by crystal waters, currently only has about 7,300 plays on spotify total how would you measure illegal downloads lmao

^ I wish One Dance took over Love Yourself so bad, but I know it won't happen No, the number 1 and 2 positions are Justin's. Is that that first time that happens? If it's Justin is really the king. Yep, The Beatles and Usher did it first: 1964 (The Beatles) #1 - I Want to Hold Your Hand #2 - She Loves You 2004 (Usher) #1 - Yeah! (feat. Lil Jon & Ludacris) #2 - Burn And if we're going by the Top 3, here are the other acts: 1985 (Wham!) #1 - Careless Whisper (feat. George Michael) #3 - Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go 1995 (TLC) #2 - Waterfalls #3 - Creep 2000 (Santana) #2 - Smooth (feat. Rob Thomas) #3 - Maria Maria (feat. The Product G&B) 2009 (Lady Gaga) #2 - Poker Face #3 - Just Dance (feat. Colby O'Donis)

George, I would really like to say thanks so much for taking up this task after Broccoli left. I know it was very time consuming and tough calculating points for 30+ weeks in just a few days and I really admire that even that you're very busy with your life, you still carry on with this every week. Thanks so much That being said, I truly hope this prediction is as accurate as possible, and it seems like it's gonna be pretty good given how close your weekly predictions are :) I'm going to post some final remarks and hopes for the official chart later this week. Also, I'm really wondering how Broccoli is doing tbh. He seemed very passionate about music, especially the technical side such as the YE predictions, and it is saddening to see him have to give up all of this because of mini moding on a Katy thread. He continued with the Hundo for a bit, but probably deleted his account after realizing that we figured out it was him. But given his passion, I'm pretty sure Broccoli continued his predictions and has a full list now. I kinda wanna see how his list compares with George's, but I totally respect that he doesn't wanna publicize any of this anymore. Finally, this job has seem to have been a killer job... Daniel Collins took it up in 2014 and he started becoming inactive in 2015. Broc took it up in 2015 and left in 2016. Hopefully this won't happen to george, since he's truly one of my favorites, one of the most hardworking, and one of the most passionate music lovers on this board :)

georgetherunner314 Thanks for the predictions so much! You really did a great job, both with weekly lists and the year end list. I've been visiting this thread for months rooting for songs I liked to reach the list and this year thankfully most of them made it!

Did anyone catch the nice transition in Georges video from Number 46 to 45. Starts around the 12:12 mark in the video.
46. Meghan Trainor - You need to let it go, you need to let it go.
45. James Bay - Come and let it go.
I found this funny, lol
And this one too that I found funny as well. Starts at 16:24.
27. Shawn Mendes - I can treat you better. better than he can.
26. Adele - Send my love to your new lover, treat her better.
lmfao.

It's really so good see Justin dominating!!!! First and Second spot? He's a king really. On the other hand it's so bad see Nick in 67, Close deserved being top 40. On my Mind unfortunately lost 8 weeks and stayed so down in 71. Guess the artists I like, there's just these 3.
