Nah I doubt it lol. Kinda hard to top 13+ weeks at #1 in the winter/early spring (winter/early spring meaning that it will still be around for the months to come and probably be on the chart until November which would be the whole chart year lol)

The way UF is going down on pop and Hot AC makes me think in a very very slow fall on airplay, which it will make the chart run of the song very very long.
The fact that Mark Ronson probably won't be able to have another hit it will benefit the chart run of the song. There are exceptions (Stay with me is the current one) but generally if an artist is able to generate a second hit the airplay drops enough to reduce the chart run

It will be needed a viral video of Harlem Shake proportions but with a song decent enough to have airplay to be a threat to Uptown funk in the end of the year chart

Can somebody explain how and why Sugar by Maroon 5 is doing so damn well? It is basically the exact same way as Katy Perry - Birthday. Why did Birthday do so bad and Sugar doing good? BTW I hate both of the songs, but something is not right and fair here.

Also you guys may not like it, but I am calling it right now, Trap Queen is a future number 1 hit.

A few reasons. This was discussed in the Hot 100 thread a few weeks back. Maybe the music video is another reason why Sugar is much more popular than Birthday. Sugar's MV is much more fun and sweet, also better than Maps and Animal.

If Shake It Off didn't drop to #11 in 2015/01/03 week, it would beat Starships with 24 weeks.

Actually Trap Queen does have some traction in airplay - it is currently in the top 75 and getting +1M daily updates. I can see it doing quite well in airplay for a song that does not cross over to pop (or maybe it does eventually cross over after all?)

OMFG Jarhys can you please stop constantly posting what the predictions they would land on the 2014 chart, its getting annoying, Im trying to read Daniel Collins predictions and you are ruining it with your posts constantly always right after him. I mean we f**kin get it, why dont you wait until the end of the year to do it, doing it every week is annoying. Thanks

Seriously if you dont want to read it scroll down. I very enjoy Jarhys posts as it tells me not only what their position would be last year but how they might finish at the end of the year. I want him to continue doing it and I bet many people like it too. He's isn't going to take it off because one person gets annoyed by it.

Honestly, I really like what jarhys is doing because I don't have to look at page 13 (or 14?) to see where each song would land. Just like what is stated above you could opt to just scroll it down.
