- "HUMBLE." makes it to the top 5
- "Congratulations" returns to top 10 at #10, which should be it's final position
- "Unforgettable" reaches Top 15. Could it end up in the top 10?

I hope "Unforgettable" will be able to pass "Congratulations" and make the top ten, but that's probably not going to happen unless "Congratulations" drops out of the weekly chart next week or the week after. I guess "Unforgettable" will likely end up at #11. :( And wow, it looks like it is actually possible for "Something Just Like This" to pass "Closer" before the end of the year! I do believe it would make more sense for "Something Just Like This" to be the highest charting song by The Chainsmokers in 2017 than "Closer", though.

as for the year end top 10 I think Ed's actually gonna take it down. Man is this an intense battle though. Year end top 10 projection, I think BLABR has 2 more weeks:

6. Bad And Boujee
7. Something Just Like This
8. Closer
9. Body Like A Back Road
10. Congratulations

Say You Won't Let Go will be either 13 or 14 depending on the fate of Bodak Yellow so really good finish there. In fact in the case of an error in calculation it might even be 12 if it's actual point value ends up ahead of I'm The One.

Swang will finish around 64-66 so pretty good finish for the highest song to never make top 20. Goosebumps will be not much lower, anywhere between 68-70 so extremely rare finish for a song to never make top 30. Both is gonna be at least 85 which would be an all time record for never getting top 40. (Previously Really Really at 92)

Looking at the year end hot 100 cutoff, Look At Me will be passed by Rockstar, YDB, What About Us, Too Good At Goodbyes, What Lovers Do, I Get The Bag, and maybe Do Re Mi if it can last 22 weeks even, putting it at 100 or 101. Maybe even Perfect if it blows up, like top 5 in a month, but I think it's next 4 weeks are probably gonna be like 19-18-14-12 so that won't do it. It might also by margin of error (especially given the messy af year 2017 has been for predictions) be behind This Town or Cheap Thrills right now

- As chartfanatic said, that's a big gap between That's What I Like and everything else below it.

- So it looks like XO Tour Llif3 is gonna pass 24K Magic, which I'm NOT happy about. Depending on how much Bodak Yellow falls, that one could just barely miss it, which would be awesome if it did, but I wouldn't put money on it. Wild Thoughts is definitely not going to pass it at the rate that it's falling, though.
- Still curious as to if Can't Stop the Feeling will manage to remain in the top half of the chart. That'd be really cool, but it's looking to be passed by Feel It Still, Bank Account, Rake It Up, Thunder, Mi Gente, and most likely Sorry Not Sorry. Though as I've said more than once, I'm amazed at how well it's held.
- It's funny that we've had a total of TWO songs here that peaked at #2 (three if you count Closer). Shows just how lucky more than one song managed to get.
- I legitimately forgot that Small Town Boy was here at all until it was brought up in the Bubbling Under last week.
- RIP Perfect's chances of making this year's list, sadly. As inverse said, it'd need to enter the Top 10 like next week (which isn't being predicted). Would love to be proven wrong, though!

Well, you're just singling out the one biggest song of each of those years. You have to consider the entire chart as a whole, which would give you a better idea of what genres are most represented. Plus, this year Urban pushed out pop/EDM mainly on streaming, not so much in sales and definitely not airplay, so there are gonna be some pop songs that did well in all three metrics that are gonna rank higher.

I just now realized the insane amount of songs that peaked outside the top 25/30 and made this year end (many of which at a surprisingly high position). Really,the whole chart is filled with songs whose ranking seems unusual to their peak, to the point where this year could be proclaimed as the year that peaks stopped meaning anything.
