People really hate look at me on this thread, right? I completely support it tho While I'm not a fan of "Look at Me!", I wouldn't say I hate it either. I mean, I don't think X is good on it, but I do like the production quite a bit. It just sounds like no other hit we had this year, and I quite appreciate that even if it does understandably annoy a lot of people.

Also, quick question - how many points did Make Me (Cry), Play That Song and How Far I'll Go (Auhl'i) get? I know there's no way any of them are going to make it (thankfully for the former two, but the latter would've been nice), but I am curious as to how close they were. And once the final predictions are out, will you by any chance be doing a rundown of the likely 100 below the final predictions?

Make Me (Cry) have about 108,480, Play That Song - 138,830 and How Far I'll Go - 141,260 (Also, Alessia's version have 104,630). And yeah i'll do the 101-200 songs too when i post it

TBH the fact that LaM is mentioned every month or so just to call off the song's existence is pretty damn stupid. It's a contender, and it has yet to have a final status, but that doesn't give you the authority to make people the problem just for liking it.
Look At Me! may be a bad song to most people, but it still has the potential to make the year end list, regardless of others' opinions. If that can't be dealt with then stay haunted.

I'm STILL rooting for This Town, but it keeps becoming more unlikely Maybe a margain of error will help it? Margain of error would be the only logical choice to allow This Town to sneak in.

Well it had a good run for a song that didn't make the Top 50, and it became the 9th song to spend 20+ weeks at the Hot 100 and don't peak in the Top 50: 1. El Perdon - Nicky Jam & Enrique Iglesias. 30 weeks, #56 peak 2. HeadBand - B.o.B f/ 2 Chainz. 29 weeks, #53 peak 3. Come And See Me - PARTYNEXTDOOR f/ Drake. 24 weeks, #55 peak 4. The Rockafeller Skank is even crazier, peak 76 with 27 weeks. Another one missing is Ready Set Roll by Chase Rice which got 54 peak and 21 weeks.

And one of my favorites, Light it Up by Major Lazer. #73 peak with 20 weeks in the top 100.
There are probably a lot more which I'll edit later.

Kodak always makes me laugh, because he came out with that anti-Trump video for Tunnel Vision right as his crimes were making rounds and everyone was praising him for it. Um, sorry, but being anti-Trump doesn't make you any less of a piece of s**t. It seemed like an attempt to distract, almost like the Kevin Spacey situation but let's not get into that. Anyways, willapted33 Carti was arrested for domestic battery back in July, though it wasn't anything as bad as X. He got in a shoving match with some woman at LAX. So this will be the first time in a while that no female's are in the YE Top 10, barring Halsey who's a feature. Also this may be the first time that an artist has gotten 2 songs in the YE Top 10 two years in a row, with The Chainsmokers doing it this year and last year.

Damn the highest song by a female as a lead artist is Bodak Yellow which will probably be 19. It's crazy looking at the trends of the decade when it comes to huge hits by women. If you look at the 5 biggest hits by women as a lead in each year in the 2010's. If a woman is the only singer on a song but the producer has the main credit it still counts IMO because this simply reflects a trend of the time, it's not like the big hits of 2012 were being produced by the singers either. IDK what happened this year because the highest one this year wouldn't even be in the top 5 any other year, not even in 2016 and already that year was very male-dominated.
2010: 1 - Tik Tok 4 - California Gurls 8 - Bad Romance 15 - Rude Boy 16 - Telephone
2011: 1 - Rolling In The Deep 3 - Firework 4 - E.T. 8 - Super Bass 11 - On The Floor
2012: 2 - Call Me Maybe 5 - Lights 7 - What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger 8 - We Found Love 9 - Starships
2013: 7 - Just Give Me A Reason 10 - Roar 13 - Stay 15 - Royals 16 - I Knew You Were Trouble
2014: 2 - Dark Horse 4 - Fancy 8 - All About That Bass 9 - Problem 13 - Shake It Off
2015: 7 - Blank Space 13 - Love Me Like You Do 15 - Bad Blood 16 - Lean On 18 - Shake It Off
2016: 4 - Work 7 - Hello 8 - Don't Let Me Down 11 - Cheap Thrills 13 - Needed Me
2017 (projected): 19 - Bodak Yellow 20 - Stay 28 - It Ain't Me 29 - Scars To Your Beautiful 30 - Issues

He said that he's counting songs that have female acts as the only singers credited in songs where producers are the main acts credited. That's why he mentioned those two songs.
Also, Need You Now was #2 in 2010, even if that song had both a male and female singer prominent on both ends throughout it.

^^Agreed, but it does look like IAMF has a chance of reentering after the CMA boost. Probably won't achieve a new peak or anything though.

Year-End Hot 100 2017 Predictions - Week 51, dated 11/18/2017 1 week to go! Sorry for updating it a bit later than usual, i'm on vacation since tuesday and doing predictions on a cellphone is a lot harder and time consuming, plus the wifi here is sh*t, but somehow i managed to do the predictions. There's no higlights and no new songs on the 'others' list as a result.

Also, It Ain't My Fault have about 75,620 points, so even if it re-enters at #1 and gets more than 100,000 points it won't make it

WOO so glad What About Us is in. I know it's been a guarantee for awhile but it's so nice to finally see it. Pink doesn't have the biggest hits anymore but in the midst of songs like Chained To The Rhythm, The Cure, Down, Malibu, Fetish, Swish Swish, and even Look What You Made Me Do all either outright flopping or at best peaking early and falling fast (LWYMMD and CTTR) the fact that Pink was able to get her song to 28 and then keep climbing is pretty astonishing actually. And there were certainly some times when it looked like it would take the Malibu route and fluctuate slowly downwards before a massive drop but that didn't happen which is great.
