Wow, reaaaaally surprised by the underrepresentation of Rock here, it's a shame that the genre in itself is slowly fading out of the mainstream. Nowadays it seems that the best a rock song is gonna get to making it is if it's featured in a commercial or something.

Sign of the Times has more of a rock sound than any other song (maybe besides Way Down We Go) to enter the hot 100 this year. Including Feel It Still, Believer, Heavy, Thunder, and Heathens.

If the song was by a new band/artist and not Harry Styles, this wouldn't be an argument.

It might not be heard like your stereotypical rock music, which was actually a rebranding of the "old" rock music from older decades, but it does resemble the sound of 70s rock ala David Bowie. Heck, his whole album really is a rock album. No one would argue that if it weren't for the brand Harry is known for before.

I'm not the best expert in music but I know my music history and SOTT clearly fits in the rock genre.
