Happy will overtake in about 7-9 weeks Looks like by the 5/31/2014 or 6/7/2014 chart Happy will be #1 In 5-6 weeks, if all goes well, Happy will dethrone Dark Horse and hopefully will stay there 3-4 weeks until Happy takes over...although its weekly lead over Dark Horse is decreasing :( Happy will probably pass Dark Horse in 4-5 weeks Uh oh

imbondz If "Dark Horse" could beat "Happy" on the Hot 100. Now, it seems unlikely. Happy is at #11 while Dark Horse is at #20. By next week, "Happy" might still be in the top 15 while "Dark Horse" would be out of the top 20.

Happy will stay 11-13 on next week's Hot 100 lol. "Summer" will fall below it, Jessie J will debut above it and possibly "Boom Clap" and "Love Runs Out" will rise above it. Would be hilarious if "Happy" returned to the top 10 lmao Edit: never mind, you're right Daniel, it will be 11-15. I forgot also about "Bailando" and "All About the Bass".

So is it possible DH can retake the lead? Yes it is, and it will! Everyone has different methods for counting points, on the other forum DH is still above happy!

Something that lost sometimes in this thread, is that it is not official. As the thread title says, it is someone's "prediction" as to what he chart will look like and not an official Billboard tally
It is possible Happy has been ahead of Dark Horse for some time
It is also possible Happy hasn't caught up yet.
It is also possible All Of Me, could work its way into this discussion too

Although the fact is, if you include the 2013 weeks, Dark Horse is the much bigger hit.
but for the Year End #1....who knows? I'm going to say Happy #1 and Dark Horse #2 but you never know.
For the rest of the top 10, I'll guess....All Of Me #3, Fancy #4, Rude #5, Problem #6, Counting Stars #7, Talk Dirty #8, Tinber #9, Am I Wrong #10.
Easier to read format:
1. Happy 2. Dark Horse 3. All Of Me 4. Fancy 5. Rude 6. Problem 7. Counting Stars 8. Talk Dirty 9. Timber 10. Am I Wrong
11. Stay With Me 12. Pompeii 13. Turn Down For What 14. The Monster 15. Say Something
etc.

Mr. Thonk Eyes I don't think it's possible. "Fancy" is still in the top 10 while "Counting Stars" is already going out of the chart. "Counting Stars" would still be in the top 5 anyway. After "Fancy" , I don't think "Problem", "Rude" or whatever can surpass CS at this point.

Even if that'd happen, "Counting Stars" would still be in the top 5. I don't think "Problem", "Rude" or whatever can surpass CS at this point. But I think Fancy is terrible so I want CS to be higher DAMMIT!!

So somehow Dark Horse went back up above Happy this week. Yeah, unbelievable. Well anyway, I hope that's just for one week and things will be back to normal next week. Seems to be dropping on itunes. Was it some semi-viral video that brought it back up or something?

@markg94 Things could go back to normal by next week or two. This week doesn't bother me that much tbh.
P.S. I can't post the update for this week because I don't have data for Airplay yet. Mediabase doesn't have the exact Wednesday update so I can't use it, I'm currently waiting for Kworb's site to get those updates I need.

Happy has outlasted Dark Horse and All of Me in sales. Id be surprised if it's not #1 year end
