Focus and Perfect should stay on the list until the end of the year? I don't think Focus is gonna be able to hang, unless it somehow has some major streaming/sales longevity ahead of it. Perfect is still in the game so far.

I revised my formatting for weekly updates to use more of a table structure... and I added a couple features.

Cool to see you're still posting these for this year. It's a really cool thing to be able to see as the year continues. :)

Just wondering broccoli, where do you go in order to find out how many chart points the top 10 scored? It varies from week to week right? (Ex. "Love Myself" and "Hotline Bling" scored different amounts of points in their respective stays at #4 these past 2 weeks.)

I start with Billboard's own data in their articles and from there I use estimations based off data from Kworb and various other places. There is always some guess work, and sometimes I'm able to make adjustments based on data that comes out later. And yes, point totals vary from week to week.

If Watch Me lasts most of its remaining 7 weeks on the H100 (52 week recurrent rule) and hovers around #20-30 for the majority of that time, it'll probably make the 2016 year end chart. I really hope it doesn't, frankly.
I'm anxiously awaiting Trap Queen's removal from the H100 after 2 more weeks, followed by its descent down and off my YE list. Be gone!

Billboard includes rounded streaming figures for a handful of songs each week in their Hot 100 article on Mondays. I use what I'm given and estimate the rest.

Stressed Out looks good for a top 10 YE finish It'll be interesting to see how things unfold as the year chugs along, for sure! It's going to climb at least 4 or 5 more spots on my predictions next week, possibly entering the top 15.

Pending a surprise in this week's point estimate for The Hills, the top 10 for this week's predictions will likely be a repeat of last week. Stitches is very close to overtaking The Hills this week, but I think it won't do it until next week.
UPDATE: thanks to Chicken077, I realized that I was under the influence of heavy drugs when typing this post. Disregard.

Perfect is still in the game so far. I was looking at Focus again this week, and say for example it stayed around #50 for 8 more weeks (doubling it's current longevity at a much lower weekly point gain)... it would just barely make last year's top 100. Given that it's unlikely to maintain itself on the H100, I think it's safe to say that it's not going to make the final cut this year... it probably won't even be close.

Just wondering, do you think that Lean On has any chance of making it into the year end hot 100 again?

Just wondering, do you think that Lean On has any chance of making it into the year end hot 100 again? Entirely possible at this point, yes. It just needs to hang out around for another 4-6 weeks while very slowly moving down - and it's looking really good.

When Perfect will surpass Focus? As soon as next week - and if not then, it almost certainly will in 2 weeks.

Thomas Rhett's Die A Happy Man is looking like an early frontrunner for top country song of the year. I wonder if there's any possibility of it crossing over to Pop radio, it seems to have that kind of broad appeal, a la Sam Hunt's "Take Your Time".

I wouldn't be so sure because it's peaking right now on country radio and country radio drops songs really fast ("Die a Happy Man" was a huge hit so maybe not as fast as a normal #1 would), but it's doing great sales-wise for a country song so it should stay on the Hot 100 for a little while. I just think it's peaking a little too early if it were to become the country song of 2016, but "Cruise" did that back in 2013 (I think it peaked on country radio in December of 2012?) so who knows? I would love for it to cross over to pop/HAC/AC!

Die a Happy Man really deserved top 20 on Hot 100. Does it still has a chance to take it?

It's just that most country songs never even reach the top 25 of the Hot 100 (let alone spend multiple weeks there) so the handsome weekly points it has been getting are putting it in a good position for a shot at the year end country title. Crossover success would make it even more likely because of the increased longevity... which is why I mentioned that. It'll be interesting. I'm sure there will be at least a couple more that smash throughout the year.

Die a Happy Man really deserved top 20 on Hot 100. Does it still has a chance to take it? I'd say probably not. Not unless it had a big weekly surge from a high profile performance in the near future...or if it really took off at another radio format.
