Taylor might end up having 4 songs (or 5 if Wildest Dreams won't flop) in the top 30

when is Wildest Dreams even debutting? And there will definitely be way more artists that have had 2 songs or even 3 songs this year being on year end charts then last year.

Is it just me or "Watch Me" has a shot for top 10?

Is it just me or "Watch Me" has a shot for top 10? It's not just you. I, unfortunately, also think that it has a slim shot at making the top ten if it manages to hold up well thought the rest of the year. *shudders*

Also how do both of you have Coco above Ayo? Ayo had a way better run and on my list I so far have it a bit ahead of Coco.

Just because it had a better run in the specific weeks it was on, means nothing ;) It all depends on context. Song X may spend four weeks on the chart, each week 50K points, but never crack the top 3, song Y two months later may spend five weeks on the chart, all at #1, but may only gather 30K points each week. Does that mean song Y still performed better?

COCOs Chart Run from High Peak to Low- 20, 22, 23, 26, 26, 26, 26, 26, 27, 28, 28, 36, 38, 45, 55, 59, 64, 71, 77, 79
AYOs Chart Run from High Peak to Low - 21, 22, 23, 25, 25, 25, 27, 29, 32, 33, 36, 36, 39, 39, 40, 51, 57, 59, 65, 72
So explain, how does COCO win? They will be close, but as you can see, Ayo has the slight edge

The positions it charted in for its run are irrelevant for the year end, the points are what are important.

But the thing is, how would they know if its 30K or 20K if they are just making predictions? how can they figure out if one weeks 25th place is higher than 1 weeks 20th place??

There are some resources such as sales, radio audiences, and streams estimation helping make these predictions. I remember around Christmas, almost all songs had much more sales than usual. Coco was charted on those weeks.

These predictions are not made (as far as I am aware) on chart positions, but on chart points. These can be estimated by using Kworb's sales and radio data, the weekly Top 10 post, and other sources.

Guys want more spoilers for my list?
Waves, She Knows, and Prayer in C all finished very very close to each other and barely above last years position 100th place on my list. So those 3 are hopefully safe to be on this years list too.

Is it just me or "Watch Me" has a shot for top 10? I doubt it. I don't think it'll have the longevity and it's already late into the chart year (only 15 more weeks left after the 8/15 issue). I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't even make the top 20.

Sorry another post here, if you guys want some more spoilers on my list, ask away and Ill see what I can say. I am a little behind on my predictions, I am on week 25 right now, so if you ask me something like where some songs that started charting like 10 weeks ago, I cannot really say yet where they are. But I can say some of the earlier ones or even middle ones too. Ask away if you have any, so you can see how my list sorta looks like. Ill have full 100 in order when year ends then Ill compare mine with Daniels, Brocollis, and Billboardfan1(90sandearly00srule1 from youtube)

For mine, I don't use point estimations (from those various sources) for the entire Hot 100 each week - I don't have enough time for all that. I just use an inverse system for everything outside the top 20 each week. In the case of CoCo vs. Ayo... it's very close point-wise. That said, if I apply strictly an inverse point system (based on rank) to these 2 songs (which for the most part that's all this is since they both were almost entirely outside the top 20) CoCo still comes out the victor.

I'm not even doing estimations or anything, but it's been on the chart for the past 5 months already, and will be in the chart for the rest of the year (and probably in the top 10 for most of that time). It won't fall fast, because it's getting pop radio airplay now, and it might not have even peaked yet, I think it could reach a peak of #2 on the Hot 100.

If I were to guess would say probably mid-teens (#15-#17). But I just don't see it having the same longevity as Trap Queen. I'm pretty sure it has peaked in sales and is probably close to peaking in streaming. I think it'll be out of the top 20 before the end of the chart year, which would mean there's no way it could be top 10 year-end. And I disagree with you about it reaching #2. CFMF and Cheerleader are too far ahead of it and both have about the same momentum in airplay and streaming as Watch Me (if not more) and soon enough Fight Song or something will pass Watch Me so I highly doubt it will go higher than #3. There's only so much it could do on pop radio. It is very unlikely that it will go much higher there than Trap Queen did. That being said, I predict it to be around 15-17 (of course I would be very happy if it was lower)

Watch Me is pretty much locked to reach Top-15. It has a very small chance of reaching #10, but that would require exceptional longevity,
I reckon it will finish in #12-14 spots.

Another spoiler. I seem to have AATB with slightly more points than INTOO and LAM, so those 3 songs in my predictions are pretty close together in points, except in reverse order than Daniels and Brocs, with mine being AATB first then INTOO, then LAM, so we will see how it goes.

Trap Queen came close to ousting Sugar from the top 5 this week. Next week for sure. Shut Up And Dance is poised to move ahead of both Earned It and Take Me To Church in the next few weeks. That'll be about as high as it goes. Impressive, nonetheless. Bad Blood will keep moving up... probably #12 next week... and then the following week Cheerleader will probably move ahead of it. Can't Feel My Face is headed for the top 30 with the quickness. Probably next week. Lean On should move into the top 40. The top 40 portion of this chart is very competitive at this point in the year - with big point totals - so moves upward get progressively slower and more difficult as the year comes to a close. Not a ton of excitement in terms of next week's new entries.... because there won't be any! Fetty Wap has 679 and My Way which are both looking good, but neither will make it in next week. Cool for the Summer, House Party, Marvin Gaye and Drag Me Down should be the next songs in after Fetty Wap's. Drag Me Down has a nice healthy start and could be the first of the four to make it in. Not sure yet. We need some more big smashes! Tick tock - time is running out!

Will R City Locked Away have a chance to make Year End? its starting to climb very fast Absolutely possible ... it's on a list I have going of likely candidates, actually. There will be some big guns releasing in the very near future, too... (looking at you, Bieber, and giving you the super-hopeful-but-not-holding-my-breath-side-eye, Adele, among others) who can still fair decently in the last 3 months of the year.

billboard (or maybe soundscan, or both) has messed up this week and charts won't be out until wednesday, according to their official twitter. the sales for lana del rey's HBTB single were totally incorrect in their initial top 10 rundown on monday, so they've corrected her chart placement accordingly.
so predictions are delayed, obviously.
