Apparently the hype around this album is massive on the blogosphere. She's coming hard this era, even is she doesn't get a commercial hit on radio.
There was a rumor going around she'd be collaborating with David Guetta, Aviici, and lol, Lady Gaga for this album but that was put to rest fairly quickly (thank god).

NA doesn't deserve it. They pay her dust.

NA doesn't deserve it. They pay her dust. I would have said that maybe a year ago, but she now has an album that's sold about a million in the US and two singles that have sold around a million in the US. Also, she's only had one single that was ever officially released in the US and it became a Top 10 hit.

Do we have a timeframe for when we can expect a lead single and then album?

NA doesn't deserve it. They pay her dust. With the amount of records BTD and Paradise has sold in North America, it would be a missed opportunity if she doesn't do a theater tour, she could do around 30 cities with no issues selling out. A tour announcement would send the fans in a frenzy.

I kinda feel like she could release this album at any point this year with the same hype. Her buzz is very unique and she doesn't really seem to be in the same competition as a lot of other people.
Either way, the only big name that still has yet to drop something other than her is Adele.

I mean, it wouldn't be met with nearly the same sales out of the gate-- but the way she's set herself up she could probably pull a Beyoncé and get away with it. And it's because of her niche market (mentioned above) that I think she'd do quite well.
I'm not saying she should, but the fact that she could says something about what she's accomplished.

I agree with that. Most of what BTD sold in the states was pretty much only from online buzz and word of mouth. There were no hits, critics didn't give it good reviews, her performances were panned and there was no tour. Only a few club performances. Even before SS, her sales were extremely impressive.

The thing is I saw her live a couple of years ago an she was perfection. A shaky debut on SNL I hope is well out of peoples mind's. I really look forward to this era. I'd love a total reinvention, well more of image than sound. I love her dark romanticised lyrics I think they channel a side to most. Summertime Sadness was legit my summer heart ache song.

'Once Upon A Dream' is fantastic. I want her to record an album full of throwback songs like that because her voice fits them perfectly. I would even go as far as saying she has my favorite voice in pop music today

Lana did an outstanding job on her remake of the song. It's so dark and haunting.

'Once Upon a Dream' is absolutely gorgeous. It's exactly that I was expecting when I heard that she would be covering that song.

I loooooove her cover of "Once Upon a Dream." That could not have been more perfect for Lana or Maleficent. Slain.

I agree with the consensus here; Lana's "Once Upon A Dream" is beautiful. I really like what she did with it. Just fantastic.
