Glad to see "Bang Bang" at number one. I'm also glad to see "Love Me Harder", "Don't", and "Break the Rules" rising. Great debuts of "Blame", "Burnin' Up", and "Take Me to Church". I like your chart a lot better when it's all yours, Surf! :)

Glad to see you've made your chart's formula free of any Billboard rules! Also love that you debuted Take Me To Church! Also almost didn't notice that you debuted papaoutai! One of my favorite songs last fall, it's a shame it wasn't a US hit thought I get that the language barrier was why. |

I like the colors you use! Makes it easy to read. Gotta say I love your top 10 (minus “Bass,” sorry : ( lol). Just caught the “Burnin’ Up” video last week – definitely deserving of such a high debut (er… re-entry). Funny – my friend played “Papaoutai” for me the other day. How do you know that song? Cool chart : )

Alright, so with my new chart, I don't have a formula anymore, so sometimes I feel like it isn't an accurate representation 100% of the time, but I've tried last.fm, but I tend to listen to old songs there and then newer on the radio and YouTube/iPod/etc. so I can't use that... My chart isn't going to be 100% perfect, but I am content with most of the ratings, but beware, the #1s will change constantly... don't get too comfortable with your fav on top! |

I meant as in after they've been on the chart a certain number of weeks, once they drop out, they're out for good. Like my rule for recurrency in my chart is that any entry that lasts more than five weeks is ineligible for re-entry, with the exception being promo/instant-grat singles. Explains how "Shot Me Down" and "Midnight Memories" were able to return to my chart, while something like "R U Crazy" couldn't re-enter. (Trust me, if I didn't have that rule, Conor would easily have all his singles charting right now, such a mess) |

I didn't exactly mean older songs clogging up the charts (trust me, once an old song is gone... I'm pretty much done with it, and what you mentioned was kind of already a rule, just in my mind haha) Also, these next few weeks will weed out all the old songs soon (bar a couple of strong songs) ESPECIALLY when Taylor's album impacts! Anyways, I meant more like constant #1 changes, high debuts/quick falls afterwards, and huge drops for songs that haven't exactly been prominent this week and so they kind of roller coaster the chart (you have already seen a couple doing this) Anyways, I just wanted to announce that chart runs will be different from now on now that this chart is mine... |

I guess so... haha, my opinion on certain songs just switch on and off some days But I don't allow old songs to re-enter unless it's only been a couple of weeks since it's fallen and the song is indeed popular with me that week. And the problem with debuts for me, is I listen to it a ton the first week, then I move on to the new batch, and the new songs don't get played on the radio as often, so they go way down and sometimes never recover... lol I need to learn how to stabilize listens with my week-to-week basis haha |
