She did a fine job considering those are Whitney songs.

She did an amazing job! At some point I had to close my eyes to avoid being distracted by her inflated 👄 (girl, why??!!!) but she did an awesome job with very hard songs. I loved that she used her lower register effectively rather than her more straining upper register. Pretty good under lots of pressure! Hope her face looks better at the moment of her comeback...

She seemed very nervous, which is quite unlike her. And some of the note choices she made were a little....strange? It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't particularly good.

Parts of her performance was good. She did NOT slay. But she did fine. Whitney songs are hard to sing. Xtina's voice is not what it used to be. Once upon a time she sang the hell out of Run to You.

Some parts were rough, but she stomped the shit out of this tribute. I had a couple tears.

I loved it. She gave it her all and that's all that matters.

Christina will always be heavily criticized no matter what. I'm happy for her.

Christina will always be heavily criticized no matter what. I'm happy for her. Yeah, I remember people on Pulse saying, at the time, that the James Brown tribute at the Grammys was a disaster... Anyhoo, she did a great job tonite!

Very strong and I like how it was mostly subdued. She definitely was not in sync with the band though but it's OK. She was taking her time with those songs and giving them the attention they deserved! I love how in love with it P!nk was.

I think she did really good with I Have Nothing, good with Run To you and not really good with IWALY (tbf, somebody commented about the choices she made about the notes and I completely agree. It was more evident on the first song). Overall, good performance!

I knew it was going to be a disaster and she certainly proved me right.

It was shaky as hell and uncomfortable to watch for me, but it wasn't terrible terrible and she was doing her best to hold it all together. And singing a Whitney tribute, well Jesus, it's pretty much impossible.
It definitely makes me question the state of her voice though, she was struggling before she even got to the difficult parts.

I found it to be underwhelming. The hologram performance was 100000x better. I wanted to see that hood!

I was so looking forward to the Whitney tribute, but Christina’s performance was pretty terrible.
I thought for sure she was going to have a moment when she started off so soft & beautiful, but she quickly ruined the opportunity.
Why she always insists on approaching live performances the same way during every big performance is beyond me. If she just switched it up & sang softer to let her tone shine, she’d be praised for the right reasons, instead of dragged for warbling.
Unfortunately, she makes it easy to see why she hasn’t had a hit in over a decade with performances like that. It isn’t the 90’s anymore, girl.
Christina is proof that all the talent in the world means nothing if it is taken for granted & not used properly.

Xtina doing a live Whitney tribute in 2017 was never going to be stellar. She encountered many of her common vocal issues. There were some ups and downs in the performance. Some spots where she sounded really nice. But overall, she sounded so throaty and pushed. And falling behind in time. Honestly, not as bad as I expected, but fairly mediocre imo. But, she'll be fine. Her legacy as a great voice is cemented.
Her tone was always her greatest asset, but that's slipping a bit lately. I just really want her to get it together. Her voice can be sickening.

All these people praising her definitely need to see a doctor. Including P!nk who I consider a top vocalist. Her voice was in shambles last night, her falsetto weak and shaky and her belting left a lot to be desired with that scratchiness.
I feel like, much like Alicia, she's pushed her voice too much with bad technique and it's given out. Even her tone has gotten deeper. To top it off the new lips made her face almost unrecognisable, not to mention the outfit.

It was ok. I really don't understand what is going on with her career atm. She should be soaring.

I usually love her falsetto, but even that wasn’t working for her last night. I won’t even touch the belting (and neither should she).
At least she didn’t do her usual “YAYAYAYAYAYA” grunt-belts, that would have been the final nail.
Come on Xtina, you’re better than this.

She lowered each song's key down to the floor and still couldn't get through any of them without significant issues. It just...wasn't good, at all. Such a shame to hear where her voice is at now--I keep hoping she'll turn it around, but not looking good...
