Her rendition of "Paint It, Black" is sooooo good. I hope it gets the full single treatment (radio adds, music video, dance remixes). The film comes out October 23rd, so hopefully the promo will kick in soon. I've been revisiting her album lately, and "Only One" seems to be my jam at the moment. I kinda wish if she does get another single off it, she might consider that. I could see her performing that at the Grammys a la Rihanna and "Stay." I want to know how it feels to live in your head because "Pipe Dreams" must be in neon lights at the entrance. I'm glad the irrelevants and rapidly fading artists have a cheerleader in somebody. Gets my heart going and makes my spirit blessed. Like Whitney says, "I believe in miracles!"  |

Dare I say it, but Future was right. I honestly think that staying in the lane she was in with CIARA was perfect, Jackie was alright, but it wasn't an exciting follow up. Fuck a re-release. Put her in the studio to crank out a new album. She needs to wash clean herself of that Jackie mess like she did her baby father. 6 months later and the only songs worth a damn are Lullaby and I Bet.

I'm glad she released Jackie for "Dance Like We're Making Love" if nothing else. That song has become my favorite Cici song of all time; I ADORE it and its video. I also like "Lullaby," "Stuck On You," "Kiss & Tell," "Only One," "That's How I'm Feelin'" and "All Good" but I don't listen to them as often now. But I agree, no re-release. New album, fresh new PROPERLY HANDLED era. Take advantage of her new found celebrity. I feel like we say this for the past 3 eras or so and it never happens. It sucks. |

The story of the Tour being pushed back to spring 2016 is now on her official website. & it headlines "a special announcement of a project that will coincide with the tour is coming soon" So new Cici music looking likely in the coming months.  |

I doubt it's anything to do with Jackie. Epic hasn't done a much better job handling her than Jive did, but I don't think they'd do something that stupid. Where did this rumor of a re-release come from anyway?
