Haven't listened yet but it's on my to do list. I've said before and I'll say it again. Very frequently do I veer of my rnb and hip hop bubble but the queen of dance pop is a reason. Robyn has always managed to keep my attention and I'm borderline attention deficit kinda gal.

Robyn ain’t on that list?! 👀 Until I’m ready to shell out the big bucks for a Bluetooth surround sound stereo, I’ll keep racking up these CDs.

True say, I buy CDs, load them into iTunes, and they pretty much sit on my shelf, so unless it's a Target Exclusive or, say, Mariah...no more CDs!

This is such a wonderful album! I love each and every song. Even "Beach2k20." Okay, that's my least favorite, but there can only be one #1. :sip2: I don't hate any of the songs nor would I skip any of them. "Because It's In The Music", "Ever Again", "Human Being", and "Send To Robin Immediately" are my favorites in addition to "Missing U" and "Honey." The flow of the album is perfect. There is no filler. I do wish it was a little longer since we don't get albums from Robyn that often, but it being a short, concise album makes it that much more enjoyable to listen to. I like the subtle 80s Synthpop and 90s Dance influences on all of the songs. The production is top notch. I listened to a few of the songs last night when it was released and loved what I heard. I listened to the full album now and read the song by song commentary Robyn provided which definitely helped to give some additional context to certain songs, like "Send To Robin Immediately". I can't wait to listen to this again.

It's a perfect record. An album. No filler.

I'm in love, love, love with this album. Perfection from start to finish. This girl can do no wrong. I think this is the most I've loved an album ever since Carly's Emotion.

I'm still digesting the album as a whole but can we talk about how great Human Beings is?

I'm still digesting the album as a whole but can we talk about how great Human Beings is? Human Being but yes, it is actually my 4th favorite song on the album (behind Missing You, Honey, and Ever Again). SN: Ever Again reminded me of another song and I couldn't figure out what it was for the longest and I settled on On Melancholy Hill by Gorillaz.

In the context of the album, I love the abrupt cut-off of "Missing U", which sounds like a vestige from Body Talk. She then leads you into her new sound. It's a beautiful transition.

This album has been on repeat for a week. This may be album of the year for me. Human Being is grimy perfection. Honey makes me want to cry laugh and dance at the same time. May be one of her best songs ever. And Ever Again...kills me. What a song. Its like the Supremes meets Tame Impala meets Niles rodgers. Ugh...

14k SPS; 10k sales per HITS.
And I echo the sentiments of everyone else who agrees this is a flawless body of work. The way all the different sounds and textures of the album overlap yet blend together and flow makes Honey such an appropriate title. Easily one of my favorite albums of the year!

m.youtube.com/watch?v=-f-onTo_378She performed Honey, and few other songs, on a BBC show..... That song's glorious The album hasn't clicked with me yet as I hoped it should.... It's so well produced, the lyrics are great, her voice is stellar but I guess it lacks something to my ears.... God I love the fact she's such a true artist and she didn't repeat herself but I guess I wanted some "immediate" and unapologetic tracks like even Do it Again and Work it Out were. But I am still so looking forward to seeing her live, somewhere in Europe.

Her vocals are soulful and heavenly on this whole album.
The only thing that doesn't quite work for me is the weird, distorted second vocal line under the main vocal in "Baby Forgive Me." Everything from "Sent to Robyn Immediately" through the end of the album is perfection!
Also I woke up with "Because It's In The Music" in my head this morning and I didn't even listen to the record yesterday.
EDIT: DAYUM!!!! She got her highest peaking album on the Billboard 200 with this one! It debut at #40

Was Honey eligible for the Grammys this year? Or would it be next year?

I haven't dug any of the visuals this era. Thankfully the music is beyond flawless.
