Original Release Date: November 11, 2005 Singles: 1. Hung Up 2. Sorry 3. Get Together 4. Jump Madonna's 10th studio album. One word: Perfect. This album defines my 2005/2006 year. So many great memories were made to this album. It was the last time I felt truly connected to an album of hers (though I do love Hard Candy and MDNA). I love the album and single imagery used through-out the era. This album contains some of her catchiest music since the 80's. It remains my second favorite of her albums.

It's definitely a solid album. The segue "Hung Up"-"Get Together"-"Sorry" trilogy is crazy good. And I pretty much love "Let it Will Be," "Forbidden Love," "Jump," "How High" and "Isaac." My least favorites probably are the last two tracks, but "Push" is really the only track I'm indifferent about.

My favorite Madonna album hands down. While ^ is indifferent to Push it is one of my favorites along with the perfection that is Hung Up and Get Together.

Not really a fan of this personally these days. At first listen it sounded great, especially after her terrible previous album, but it has very little replay value for me as a whole. Obviously it was the correct move for her, but it's kinda dull overall.
My favorite thing about Madonna albums has always been variety, and that is heavily sacrificed here to keep the all dance theme going.
The only tracks I would say I really love are Push and Future Lovers.

The only good album she's released post-2000.

There was a bit of uncredited lifting on this album outside of the official ABBA sample. Regardless, 'Hung Up' grew on me last year. The insane exposure it got upon its release made it sickening for me to even hear that clock ticking at the beginning

A very solid album. By far her best effort since RAY OF LIGHT". Initially, I was able to play the album from start to finish b/c the theme & songs meshed very well, but after a couple of listens, you start to discover the weakiest links of the bunch.
My Top 5 songs:
1. Hung Up 2. Jump
3. Sorry 4. Like It Or Not 5. Forbidden Love

The album was sprinkled with homages throughout, without actual sampling- Giorgio Moroder/Donna Summer, Pet Shop Boys, even herself. :)

My # 2 fav album by Madonna after Like A Prayer
These two albums are the only I can listen from 1st to last track
Though, Immaculate Collection is actually the album I listen the most :)

"Let It Will Be" and "Sorry" are two of my favorite Madonna tracks. The album is cohesive, intimate and flawless. I also think it's amazing how on tour she performed 10 tracks off the album! Is she one of the only artist who perform almost the entire album? She only didn't perform "Push" and "How High".

At the moment I kinda feel this hasn't aged so well apart from Hung Up... The songwriting is so basic and repetitive, Stuart Price's remix-like production does not help either. Push has always been one of my fav tracks from it though, alongside Forbidden Love.

This is my second fav album of hers of the 00's. The singles are AMAZING, but it just isn't as consistent as Music IMO. There's four or five tracks that are completely forgettable to me and there isn't enough variety.

The singles were really strong, especially "Hung Up," but the rest of the album hasn't held up very well.
I do like the last few tracks. It's the middle of the album (Future Lovers/I Love New York/Let It Will Be/Forbidden Love) that I don't really like.
Her image was on point during this era.

This is one of my favorites from her. The singles + Like It Or Not are my favorites. The rest is only okay.

Great album! Love all the songs and theme colors. The perfect pop album next to True Blue.

This is one of my favorites from her. The singles + Like It Or Not are my favorites. The rest is only okay. Lolll This is absolutely my favorite from her now. The singles remain immaculate (“Hung Up” is a bonafide classic at this point), but there isn’t a weak moment on the album. “Forbidden Love,” “How High,” and “Let It Will Be” in particular are some of my all-time favorites from her.

I enjoy this album but it has never been a go-to for me among Madonna's catalog. Other than "Hung Up" becoming her biggest hit globally and being something amazing to dance to, I rarely revisit any tracks. If I put on the album, I'll give it a listen, but I don't find myself yearning to play individual songs like I do for her work from 1982-2002 or 2015-2019.
That said, "Let It Will Be" and "Isaac" are some great deep cuts.

She definitely picked the right songs as singles tho, that's such a strong 4 to release. The follow-up singles deserved SO much better in the US

I really enjoyed this album on it's release. It was the first time I ever heard an entire album segued/looped together.
I prefer the tour versions of Sorry and Let It Will Be to the ones she recorded for the album. How High and Push to me are both underrated songs from the album. I wouldn't have minded either one of them being released over Sorry or potentially even Jump.
When Madonna is in love, it flows through out the music. It was nice to see some of the American Life sentiment carried over into Push, Forbidden Love, Get Together, and Future Lovers.
