At this point that goes without saying. Start our bets on Avicii, Zedd etc? I wouldn't mind lyrics with Pat Leonard, Joe Henry, but beats by Avicii, Zedd, etc. I like the sound of that. Getting excited.

You know , I'm really blown away by Del Rey's Once upon a Dream... I would love M to go in the dark direction.... Like a Prayer meets Erotica.

Dear Madonna
I would love an album that includes the brilliance of my 3 favorite albums of yours and maybe your most praised work that defined your pure focus of a work of art with intelligence and music perfection.
Like a Prayer Ray of Light Confessions on a Dance Floor
Madonna please dig deep in your soul and deliver a classic album that is full of your passion from your heart and mind. Blow us away with your power to enlighten.

LOL Who would turn down the queen? I suppose there are a few. I'd like to see fresh blood in terms of collaborators, but she probably will use at least a couple of "hit" producers.

LOL Who would turn down the queen? I suppose there are a few. Moby (during the "Play" era) for some weird reason turned her down more than once. I'm sure they could have produced magic together.

I have virtually no hopes or expectations for this album, so I can't really be disappointed I suppose.
I do hope that she remembers her Evita vocal lessons though. For the past 2 albums, she's been trying to sing in the thin, nasal style she had in the very very early years, but it doesn't sound good. She's too old to put it off now because the girlish tone she had then is just naturally gone through time, but she's shown she's more than capable of a deeper vocal style that can be very effective.

Confessions, Hard Candy, and MDMA are still my favorite Madonna albums. I've always liked her singles, as well as Ray of Light, American Life, and Music as a whole, but those last three are just killer for me, especially MDMA.

MDNA* and Hard Candy are good albums but I definitely don't think they are close to being her best. MDNA is better than Hard Candy though. I just got a chance to listen to most of her discography last week and I have to say my favorites Erotica, Ray of Light, American Life and Confessions. Overall I'd probably give it to Erotica.

It's personal tastes and mostly the production that makes those my favorite albums. I remember buying Erotica through a music club (LOL) and not really liking it, apart from Deeper & Deeper, Bad Girl, and the title track. Not much has changed over the years. I used to LOVE American Life and Ray of Light though.

Exciting news!!! I like all of her albums, so I'm sure this will be no exception, but I wouldn't mind something with more lower-tempo songs. I love the ones on "Music", "Ray Of Light" and "American Life".
It's hard to rank her albums because they are so different from one another and they change all the time but her debut will always be my favourite. Now followed by "Music" and "True Blue".

Glove, she kinda revisited the Evita voice on "Falling Free," which was a nice delivery.

Glove, she kinda revisited the Evita voice on "Falling Free," which was a nice delivery. Indeed she did, and it did sound good (wasn't crazy about the song itself, but she delivered it well). Masterpiece was also very well sung, and a really good song too. But aside from those two, most of the remainder of the album had her still chasing those little girl vocals unfortunately (aside from Gang Bang, but that wasn't really "sung" in the traditional sense).

The ballads were really the only tracks I liked on MDNA (along with "Beautiful Killer" from the deluxe), but I felt like even the ballads were very middle of the road for her. "Masterpiece" is my favorite of them.

To me, falling free was such an incredibly gorgeous vocal then orbit F'd it up.
I love the side of madonna that is influenced by Karen carpenter and Chrissie Hynde. I'm really not into the edm madonna. She must have really low self esteem if she thinks she needs the latest cheesy beats to make a great song. Girl, all you need is your voice, your lyrics and your melody with just a little help on production.
Cherish, anyone?

"Cherish" is a great pop song, but not one of the first ones I'd point to that shows Madonna at her absolute best. She doesn't do many songs in that vein, though, which made it special. I liked that the video contrasted the romantic tone of some of the lyrics, though, showing her in a motherly role.
I adore the line, "Rome and Juliet/They never felt this way, I bet." :)
What didn't ya like about "Falling Free"? I love the strings, and the sound in general.

I hate how orbit electro-tinkered with her vocals at the finale of the song. I was like "are you kidding me?"

MTV Buzzworthy Track review
11. “Masterpiece” — It’s fitting to follow up a masterpiece with another, no? The Golden Globe Award-winning theme from Madonna’s film W.E. begins the record’s soft touch down back to Earth. With its poetic lyrics and gorgeous orchestration, “Masterpiece” is an instant classic addition to Madonna’s back catalog of stellar balladry.
12. “Falling Free” — The album’s gorgeous final comedown finds Madonna delivering unexpectedly rich vocals above tender orchestral production and light electronic textures, courtesy of Orbit. Madonna’s prim and proper delivery mixed with the lovely violin strings makes “Falling Free” feel nearly royal: a fitting finish for the Queen.

Grab Stuart Price one more time. I need another workout album. I really don't think it's a good idea to rehash and old collaborator, because the new work would be endlessly compared to the previous and they would most likely not reach that same level anyway. Orbit repeated himself too, the tracks that sound different than Ray Of Light and Music are only because other people co-produced them, the input by Orbit in the final versions of Gang Bang or Love Spent are most likely minimal and his name is slapped onto Masterpiece so it makes one wonder what the point was in hiring him for MDNA...

"Well, I’m right now in the process of talking to various co-writers and producers and talking about where I want to go with my music." The Queen of Pop herself talks about her new album soon in the making in a seven-minute long interview with Sarah Hampson from the Globe and Mail at the opening of the Hard Candy Fitness club in Toronto. When asked about how she choose the venture to pay attention to: "It depends on the day. I have to divide myself into many categories. I’m working on my philanthropic charitable ventures. I’m fighting for human rights. I’m fighting for using art for a platform to bring people together. I’m working on my own art, whether that’s music or filmmaking. I’m raising four children. I’m opening gyms around the world to encourage people to get in shape and feel good about themselves; bringing art through dance to gyms to make my gyms different from other people’s." And about her legacy as a feminist icon: "I hope that I inspire women to believe in themselves, no matter where they come from; no matter what education they have; what particular background they originate from. I like to think I’m a role model for women. But I also don’t like to just limit it to women. I like to think I’m a role model for human beings in general." Asked if it annoys her when people say she’s too old at 55 to wear certain things and act young: "You just have to keep doing what you’re doing. I think not only do we have to live in a homophobic society, but we have to live in an ageist society, too. Once you reach a certain age, you’re not supposed to do certain things. I don’t really know where that came from." Read the full interview on theglobeandmail.com. From Madonnatribe Love the article. <3
