That's not too shocking. She's a rich diva. And most of the time a single woman at that. Trust me, after seeing her trying to be in the aisles singing in caesars, she can't have real-life interactions and just walk amongst the public. He was quite complimentary in that interview, though.

Eh. Doesn't seem too shocking to me. I could only imagine how lonely she feels living a life of extreme fame... that type of story seems very similar to what people close to MJ and Britney used to tell. It's more sad than surprising.

Well I am not surprised by anything. I think her life is more in sync with the Outside, Close My Eyes, The Roof, Breakdown, Looking In portion of her catalog more than anything else. I wouldn't mind an angry album from her. It might even be therapeutic for her. I know Mariah in the past says she likes to keep things light because she feels the world is surrounded in negativity, and she doesn't want any part of it. However, I think getting it out would do a world of good for her. Internalizing leads to issues when it all culminates. Unleash the writer inside and go to town Mariah.

There seems to be more press and interest in Mariah's Vegas stint than the usual standard vegas fare.

I think that is why she should have a new studio album ready to go for her next go round in Vegas. I think the Vegas machine is pumping some dollars in the advertising. It could be a smart move to have new material ready to go for her stint next year. I don't think her label and management are the sole force behind her marketing this time.

Yes, having at least a new single to launch/promote by February would be smart. With the album coming right after this time though

The album enters the UK chart at No. 8. Who woulda thunk that its debut would be notably better than the U.S. sales and BB 200 charts?

I actually think this compilation is smart for her internationally. It will really help maybe spark interest and sales again for her internationally. Maybe help remind the Japanese fans, hey I still exist and am awesome. I hope she gets some inspiration before her new project. I want some new producing blood and strong hooks.

I wonder what hapenned to this song Yeah, I think it was just something to sing for that special, but I love the jazzy inflections and would love more of that in her catalog.

"I love your tattoo, I have one that needs to be altered." LMAO! I always loved that she made it so easy to just cover the letters and fill the body in.

"TGIFY" from Saturday night:
I wish she wouldn't sort of shade it before performing it since it's a real highlight. She didn't do the latter part of the 1st verse either :(

Exactly Coco child stars who?? FINALLY now I can place the final song in the epic Mariah mega mix I've had since about 2008. You guys know the one I'm talking about? It's epic, and starts off with the "I'm doing my best...to be a diva (to be a diva)"

She sounded FLAWLESS during "IT'S LIKE THAT". I would have been flipping out. I want more of TGIFY...still praying for that bridge.

"We play around with the rendition of this next song because we wanted to fit all the #1s in, and try to make it work. Now I would like to go right into the song that comes after this when we finish it, because I think the audience would like that, and I care what the audience thinks..." She's basically implying that she only included TGIFY for the sake of getting in all 18 #1s, but she doesn't give it as much time or focus in the show because she knows it's one of her more 'forgotten' #1s and the fans are really just ready to hear her take on the much bigger WBT next.

I have always thought Thank God I Found You was underrated, just like the whole Rainbow album. I know a lot of lambs don't like it at all, and it WAS a huge step down from Butterfly, but I still play it regularly. It was mostly fun and cute with a few career highlights (Crybaby, Bliss, Heartbreaker)
