I'm not sure I'd say she only cares about Christmas stuff.
But I will say that she's maybe painted herself into a corner with it all. She does so much during the holiday season (shows, appearances, merch, social media campaigns, interviews...), and so November and December are all about being Queen of Christmas.
All of that must require preparation and planning over many months leading up to it. So there's probably not that much time during the year where her and her team aren't focused in some capacity on Christmas stuff.
I get it though; it's keeping her relevant, talked about, booked and paid.

Oooh. Can't wait to see the tracklist. I do see we're getting some new tracks, one called "My Prayer."
And OMFG at ATYNAF extended. It's always pissed me off that the album version starts fading so early and the adlibs are so muted. The video version doesn't fade as early even though it's shorter, so you get the adlibs up front.

MAGA Music Box deserves the attention though. She did work with Dave Hall and Babyface, whom she admired. And she got to do remixes, a fun video and her first ever tour.
When you think about it even if it was Pop princess pinnacle, it was also a pivotal moment in her life and career. Commercial success shot through the roof after a shaky second album (MTV Unplugged helped a lot though) and she was also in love at this point.

Music Box is a great representation of the AC/pop that was popular in the early 1990s. It's really the only album in her catalog that's fully in that style, so I think it stands out in that regard. In the context of her discography it shows she can master nearly any style. Additionally that 1993-1994 was arguably her vocal peak. The range, the strong belting, and most of the transitions were on a level I'm not sure we've heard from any other popular singer. She also had a certain timbre/tone to her voice at that time that I love. When you throw in the killer dance remixes for "Dreamlover" and "Anytime You Need a Friend," it really was a great era in all regards.
It's great to see they are doing something really nice for this era. Not only that, but it's great stuff! I don't think I've heard of "My Prayer" before. It's short, but anything new from then will at least be good vocally. 3 CD set!
Tbh the most shocking thing is she's acknowledging 30 years. Wow lol.

Can’t wait!! She looks so pretty on the mini-doc footage, she’s been looking snatched. So intrigued by “My Prayer”. Has anyone ever heard of that song before? Hold up. What if "My Prayer" is a cover? That song length has had my interest piqued, and it would fit this song (and explain the lack of a song with that title being registered with Mariah as a writer):
I'd actually love to her her vocal on this song if that's the case.
