Can someone list the remixes that were resung? LOL, dance and urban? That could take awhile.

Can someone list the remixes that were resung? LOL, dance and urban? That could take awhile. Yeah, there are literally dozens and dozens of Mariah remixes that had new vocals. For many of her 90s singles, she had multiple resung remixes for each one (even having multiple resung dance mixes and multiple resung Urban mixes for the same single).

"I Still Believe" had four different versions with resung vocals, too lol. The Morales Classic has new ad-libs at the end, and the Eve of Souls/Kings remixes Morales featured new vocals. In addition, there were two resung urban remixes.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, so lets drop a beat that we can dance to and give us that uptempo realness next! Right now the ballads are midtempo, then the non ballads are mid tempo, everything is the same tempo. Give me a uptempo next and then a REAL ballad.

End of the day I'm thankful for her releasing "You're Mine" I still feel its one of her better singles this past decade or so but it shouldve come right after a uptempo.

From the 2000s the Urban Mixes from the top of my head I can remember are: Heartbreaker (Desert Storm Remix) Thank God I Found You (Make It Last Remix) Through the Rain (Just Blaze Remix) We Belong Together (Desert Storm Remix) Don't Forget About Us (Desert Storm Remix) Say Something (So So Def Remix) Bye Bye (So So Def Remix) H.A.T.E.U (So So Def Remix)
Jermaine did a lot of the re-sung Urban remixes for her in the 90s.

We Can't Stop sounds like something out of memoirs. It sounds like Ribbon.
So I guess that album was really a head of its time .

"You're Mine" being a ballad and the lead may actually be a blessing. It's miles better than all the second single ballads we've been getting that stifle her eras. Glad they got this out first so they can make a correct and appropriate second single choice for the first time in nine years. That would automatically give this era more legs.

We know for sure that there won't be an album-killing ballad right as the album is released. Plus, it's prime time for an uptempo. Now, she just needs to keep You're Mine fresh until then.

True, but Mariah usually gets the first single right, so it's odd that the most appropriate song wasn't chosen. Either way, it's likely there'll be two singles before the album release, so it's not like "You're Mine" has to be a big hit or anything.

A few posts above, "You're Mine" was referred to as the first single, so I was just going with that.

Thanks! I had all her remixes that were resung once... Trying to get all of them... LOL!
It would be for the greater good of MC fans to get all of these remixes listed before the album drops! From the 2000s the Urban Mixes from the top of my head I can remember are: Heartbreaker (Desert Storm Remix) Thank God I Found You (Make It Last Remix) Through the Rain (Just Blaze Remix) We Belong Together (Desert Storm Remix) Don't Forget About Us (Desert Storm Remix) Say Something (So So Def Remix) Bye Bye (So So Def Remix) H.A.T.E.U (So So Def Remix) Jermaine did a lot of the re-sung Urban remixes for her in the 90s.

So, while "#B" isn't a traditional lead single in that it will have come out literally a full year before the album, it will still be the first single to lead off the album. It's kind of a weird situation.

So Mariah's album is scheduled for May 6th. Lil Wayne announced a few days ago that's he's releasing his album on May 5th. I guess that puts in risk any hopes Mariah could've had for a #1 album?

You could hear a systemic shift in the plates underneath the earth as she stood there like heavens gate was opened, all dressed in black like the omen she stole the show. RIP JIMMY FALLON!

Supposedly went for adds today. Urban and Urban AC adds are in, and it got 0 adds at both. Even if they pushed the adds date back to next week again, getting 0 stations to commit to an official add in its first week out is bad news.
Still waiting for CHR/Pop and Rhythmic.

I could've swore the adds date was 2/24. Still, zero adds for a song that's out is no bien.

0 adds on the Urban formats is not good when you are someone who in particular has an affinity for Urban leaning material. The fact that she got more adds on Pop is very odd. She even has a remix with an Urban leaning artist and still got no adds very troubling. It says to me that the song was the wrong choice as a whole.

Even back in 2009, it was rhythmic. #Beautiful also had a lot pop and Rhythmic support. I don't understand they don't support her anymore. They were all over her during TEOM.

On the All Access site, the impact date shows 2/18 for Top 40, Rhythmic and Urban AC.
Nonetheless, for mainstream urban not to have a single add? Weird.

I am quite curious about the album version now with the second verse.

It's starting to look like TEOM, as an era, was a fluke. However, on the whole, I have liked each subsequent album more, so at least she is trending upwards for me. I don't use radio and haven't since I retired my on-air name, so radio can suck a duck, for all I care. I don't care about album sales, either. I don't care if Mariah cares or not, either. I'll stop buying her albums when she makes stuff I don't like or stops making albums.
