What do you think is a filler in Daydream? "When I Saw You" and "Open Arms." Maybe what I should've said was that I felt the debut was more consistent. For example, on Daydream I do not like "One Sweet Day," "Open Arms," or "When I Saw You," and while I like "I Am Free," "Forever," and "Underneath the Stars," I don't seek them out much (I know the latter two are very much loved- maybe I need to spin them more). On that album I'm all about "Fantasy," "Always Be My Baby, " Long Ago," "Melt Away," and "Looking In." Edit: "Underneath the Stars" grew on me further after I few more listens, so I'd rate it top six on the album and a track I would re-listen to. I listened to "Forever" and "I Am Free," again, and while they're good songs, I still wouldn't seek them out as they're just not my cup of tea. I agree that her debut was more consistent. It's easily among my top 5 albums by her.
Those are the tracks that I like the most on Daydream, along with "One Sweet Day". They are my most played tracks. I do like "Open Arms" and "When I Saw You" (which I find the latter to be pretty relatable). "Fantasy" is okay, but it easily gets burned out. Don't really like "Always Be My Baby" that much as before. Too saccharine for my taste. The rest...I don't really seek out on a regular basis. Just can't connect with them at all.

First bad taste from Miss Lucy! Always be My Baby is one of the best pop songs of modern!

Honestly, I can't connect to Daydream that much also... I don't usually listen to most of the songs nowadays. I still listen a lot to Butterfly, Emotions and Caution. To me, these are her most cohesive works.

I love these but I don’t get how the maker keeps ranking Madonna over Mariah. Even Billboard themselves has Mariah as the #1 HOT100 female artist.

I don't like that book title, and 288 pages is short. Hopefully that info proves incorrect.

Maybe because I got more into Mariah with each album but "Daydream and Musicbox" are my Top 2 MiMi albums. My Top 5 are pretty close in ranking but between these 2 cd's there's so many songs I love. "All, Ive Ever Wanted, Just To Hold You Once Again, When I Saw You, Open Arms and Melt Away" are some of my MiMi favorite ballads. Plus I got many feelings from "I Am Free" and "Now That I Know" was an energetic bop. I don't know perhaps I've just gone for the ride with Mariah. I like her older music more I suppose but always find favorites with each era.

My top 5: 1.) "Vanishing" 2.) "Vision of Love" 3.) "Love Takes Time" 4.) "All in Your Mind" 5.) "Alone in Love" It's a solid album which pretty much all killer and no filler- something I can't say about even the acclaimed Daydream.Agreed. Her debut is definitely in my top 5.
1. Butterfly 2. Music Box 3. Emotions 4. debut 5. TEOM

Let's get "The Meaning of Mariah" or whatever its called #1 on the New York Times best seller list. IT makes sense if it is titled that because of the "They Call The Wind Mariah" reference her mother named her after.

She changed her twitter background into a photo from the debut era. Maybe she will drop something related to #MC30 soon, maybe not...

She better release "Hipnotized"! I'm sure Sony's vault is full of rarities from the Debut era.

I don't like that book title, and 288 pages is short. Hopefully that info proves incorrect. My heart sank when I saw 288 pages on that German site. Jessica Simpson’s book is 415 pages and her career hasn’t been nearly as prolific.

Yeah, 288 pages does seem awfully short considering Mariah's epic career/life. It will be interesting to see what she reveals, although I'm guessing a lot of the hardcore fans like us will know a lot of the details.

Yikes. Alicia's boring ass book was about the same length, too.

Well we also don’t know the particulars, it could be that short because she focuses on a particular time of her life if that is indeed the length. Perhaps, she could be looking at writing another one. Mariah is usually good with brand especially as of late. She might test waters and if this does well have a second book in the works.

Maybe Mariah cut all the fat and just gave us all the good scoop. Forget all the self-affirming, inspirational stuff, GIVE ME THE DIRT.

Mariah wont be giving you HER dirt, she knows better! She will give you all the dirt around her like any good Aries would. She is going to get her revenge by calling them all out!
I dont think they paid her enough to give her dirt. $$$

I think Mariah in general has been relatively honest about her faults especially where her marriage to Tommy is concerned. I think really it is going to focus on her music career and what she endured during that time. I think that is really what most people want from her to spill the music industry tea. I would love to know more about Mariah’s childhood, but she is very guarded about it, so I wouldn’t expect much. Personally, I have no desire to know anything about her marriage to Nick .

Supernatural is one of my least fave from MIAM, but one of her best post-90's vocal performances.
