Mariah and Ariana are both semi unique names. āJenniferā is a run of the mill, generic name... Should I know her? OS's odds of #1 are slim, only because the streaming numbers for AIFCIY are already massive thanks to Amazon Music. I seriously doubt AM is going to add an Apple exclusive to its playlists this season. So, unless, there's some serious BTS/Gooba physical sales, I'd be thrilled see it in the Top 10. Regardless, Xmas songs are in it for the long-game. Perhaps this version of OS can start working it way onto radio/streaming and build over the years. What I really want: MCIIY reissued/expanded with this version added + WAYC + a couple of other tracks. But that's a long-shot with the label issues involved. |

We would have to have Arianators completely on board. And I doubt thatās the reality that we are in. From what I've seen they are super stoked and supportive because they know how much this means to Ari. Maybe, but Grande's people really had to work to get other #1 debuts this year, and "OS" doesn't look to have a radio deal, signed copies of product, etc. She also has her own music out that her fans are into. |

The way I can hear that gif. I reflexively lowered my volume as I scrolled past that one. She did a recent cover of the song āTomorrowā, which made great use of the dynamic piano. I will always love āSpotlightā though. Anyhow, I hope she retained the knowledge of how to sing softly during tomorrowās special. No one is worried about Ariana in that department. |

According to my friend, the producers for the Oh Santa remix are also same people who did the original, so we should not expect a drastic change. Except for the fact that the remix is shortened a bit as opposed to the original (by about 10 seconds to 3:20).
He said that they all sound so good together, vocals were served, and that the track was ācuteā.

Thereās a āOh Santaās gonna come and make him mineā chant in the intro before the first verse and that takes about ten seconds. So that may very well be it! |

Iām not downplaying anyoneās fan base, but fans always have this notion that something is going to hit with Mariah, and it doesnāt happen even when circumstances appear in her favor. Iām not saying that this canāt improve the chart position of Oh Santa!, but Iām not expecting a number 1. I mean, given that it originally peaked at #100, its position is bound to improve š But yeah, I'm not too sure about a #1 either, as much as I would love to. Arianators would have to be really onboard, and if we don't have the vinyls and other merch to help it, I don't see it happening for now. |

I just found the Mariah x Naomi #NoFilter interview. Amazing. I would love to be in a room with both of them. I love their true friendship and all the experiences they share. Also, Mariah legit seems humbled by Naomi. Well, they both seem humbled by each other, which is cool.
