I'm confused. what happened with Wendy? for a week straight she was on her hot topics talking about how sad she is for Mariah , how mariah hit on Nick and he rejected her, how Mariah is having divorce remorse, made up stories on why Mariah was late ( wine and feeling insecure, she said and even had the nerve to say she drinks all night and sleeps all day ) just really doing the most with the least info. Not to mention her made up story about refusing Mariah to appear on her show. She has been obsessed lately and I can only think reason is Mariah refused to appear on her show. Can we not? She doesn't sound very festive...

Always festive when you're sitting on 550 million, those whistle notes are a reminder.

Mariah says, "I am so glad that I can help people pay their rent and put food on the table by keeping my name in their mouth."

Mariah says, "I am so glad that I can help people pay their rent and put food on the table by keeping my name in their mouth." Yeah, one good thing about all of the talk surrounding Mariah these past few weeks is that it shows how relevant she still is. You can't really say that about many singers 25 years into their career. Loving the Instagram clips- Mariah sounds just as festive as ever. Whoever's going to show show is bound to have a terrific time.

I just got back from the show tonight and Mariah looked far from devastated. She fucking killed it! She had the audience going crazy for her. Wow and her vocals were amazing... Some girl in front of me said at the end "I wasn't expecting to see 90's Mariah tonight"... Simply amazing!

I too was at the show last night. Apart from some clearly lipped moments, her vocals were ON last night. To me it's more of a confidence issue than anything. She would have lke random outbursts of song (love her) when introducing the band for instance, where she would sing instead of talk. And she sounded great!!
Highlight of the show was undoubtedly when she THREW her shoes off - like legit flung then violently across the stage. It was SO her and authentic and just everything we love about Queen "they call the wind Mariah"

She sang her heart and soul out.

With that said, last night's OHN was her best performance of the song in at least a decade. WOW.

You guys are entitled to your opinions obviously but I'm sure they were note lipped.

at the tone deaf girl singing along... LMAO. I need that girl to shut up! When the Queen is delivering notes, you don't ruin it with your drunk karaoke version. I am so glad I got to go see her. She definitely seems in fine spirits and voice. I also would like a new album next year !

She has not sounded this consistently great in over a decade. Charmbracelet tour... at least.

^Yup- though, I'd even say that she is performing some higher belts live than she even did during Charmbracelet. All that's missing is some of the power and fluidity in her upper register belting and she'll literally be 90's Mariah. To whomever said she is sounding a lot like her Music Box tour, I totally agree. Not necessarily nailing every single note (and lipping a bit here and there), but delivering a TON of incredible live vocals with that special tone of hers.

I think if she spent some time working on her vocals in general. Warm ups and the general areas she is having issues she could fix a lot of issues and be @90-95% of where she used to be. The thing I have enjoyed the most is listening to her work in her lower register more.

I loved that JTTW performance, thanks for posting. She's improved so much I feel like she's almost ready, after the end of JTTW, to let the organ hit and go.....'FEEL THAT JOY FEEL THAT FEEL THAT JOY!! FEEl IT FEeL IT FEEL IT!"
Maybe the final show, which is tomorrow, right?
