Really loving this CD. Brand New Day is my favorite. What a beautiful song. I love Aubrey's background vocals. She sounds so much like her Mom in parts. The Secret is fantastic also. I keep those 2 and the current single on repeat.

It's crazy how much Aubrey sounds like her mom. Having my mom listening to the album in the car with me for the first time the other day, I made her guess what famous country singer's daughter she was and she knew it right away. "Brand New Day" is without a doubt my favorite track on this phenomenal album and Aubrey's prominent vocal presence on the track is no doubt one of the biggest contributors to that. I enjoy her inclusion on this album even more than Lee Ann Womack herself!  |

Downloaded this album and it is solid, although sometimes I wish David would 'surprise' me. It does consist mostly of his mainstay- mid tempo love type songs (I think-I won my copy from my radio station as a digital copy right from the label so it did not come with lyrics). After hearing the lead single I was hoping he would branch out a tad and have more uptempo tunes or do something out of character (although no Bro-Country, thank you very much).
Nothing of his to date has surpassed my favorite single Red Light, but although the current single is just OK for me I'm glad I bought the album because his voice is so good it will probably be one of those grower albums, just like Charlie Worsham Rubberband, which has shot up to my #2 slot for albums purchased the past year-after Fuse and right before Outsiders. Hopefully David will reveal a lot of subtleties on repeated listen.
