I'm so happy that they got it right, this is POP and its deserving of being the "summer song" of the year. AM I WRONG is f**king hot. I agree. I've loved it since the first time I heard it months ago so I'm really glad this got to #1 on Pop. Interesting that this is another Black artist who went to #1 on a format that according to Beyonce stans were racist for not playing "Pretty Hurts". Pretty Hurts was never sent to Pop radio, so....

Ughh f**king Jason Aldean's lead single messing up iTunes But after the Tonight show performance, it's back up to it's original peak of #3 on iTunes!!! Once Jason's single dies, this could hit as high as #2 and with how high this is on radio, Am I Wrong will get a new peak on the Hot 100!!!! :)

Jason Aldean's single will not drop that fast, Troye Sivan probably do, but anyway, Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor are ahead Am i wrong now

Fancy should be the song slowing down but it's still too high in most charts. Problem is still strong on itunes. And Rude and Stay with me are climbing in the same charts Am i wrong is climbing, but with better sales. I think it could peak at 3 if it's able to stay high on itunes for a while

Just saw a Billboard article about a Pepsi video they're releasing in conjunction with this song.
It refers to them as Afro-Norwegian.
Horrified, I looked up the term, and saw that plenty of news site refer to them the same way.
I could have sworn "Afro" (as in, Afro-American) is no longer acceptable. The last person I recall using it is Michael Richards.

In europe nobody use the terms afro-insert country. Black has no negative connotations here, i think even in the USA is a tendency to use black again.
The song has incredibly bad luck, it should have peaked higher on billboard, but it had to fight against four songs that were doing really well on airplay, sales and streaming.
Even in Canada, Stay with me was close to block it from being number one

I'm referring to the equally infamous apology: "I'm not a racist, that's what's so insane about this." At 1:30, he refers to them as "Afro-Americans." www.youtube.com/watch?v=EC26RI-Ria8
