Florida Georgia Line - "Anything Goes" ugh I hate the fact that I like a song by those slimesticks and it isn't even anything special but I like the melody of the chorus a bit No judging from me. That's my jam right now. Love crankin that one up in the car. It's just a fun song. As far as my guilty pleasures: 1) Really any Chase Rice song. He doesn't have a ton but I really don't dislike any of them. "Do It Like This" is easily one of my favorites. 2) Pretty much the same with Cole Swindell. "Let Me See Ya Girl" has been one of my favorite songs since his album dropped a year and a half ago. 3) I don't hate bro-country at all. To be fair I'm a 23 year old guy not too far removed from college, but I really enjoy most of it. But then again, I'm in the target market.

FGL - "Stay". I have had just about as much disdain for them through the years as anyone else has, yet I enjoyed this song. This is their one song I can tolerate. Yes, I even hate "Dirt"... Tim McGraw - "Southern Girl". I love this song. I can understand people disliking it, but I've never understood the "Truck Yeah" levels of dislike for the song.

I have to admit it, Kelsea Ballerini - "Peter Pan" How is this a guilty pleasure. A lot of people on Pulse really like it! It's one of my favorites right now on the AirPlay chart.

1) Really any Chase Rice song. He doesn't have a ton but I really don't dislike any of them. "Do It Like This" is easily one of my favorites. Um, yeah when I started reading the board I figured out pretty quick that Chase was not popular here! lol But I can't help it. I do like "Gonna Wanna Tonight". Found this one on my phone recently and started listening to it again. I really think this will be considered a guilty pleasure (or hated )by a lot of posters...Tim McGraw - "Right Back Atcha Babe".

Since I just did his discography in another thread...
Chad Brock - "Yes!"
It was on all the damn time when I was a little kid, so I totally get why some don't like it. I flashback to being 9 years old whenever I hear it though.

That's a good one. Haven't heard it in ages.
For whatever reason it made me think of another guilty pleasure song...

LoCash I Know Somebody (they just released the music video for this and man this song I love it so much). This song works for me for the catchy hook and singalong melody

I love "Hicktown" by Jason Aldean.
The melody is great and the amount of fiddles always brings a smile to my face. Stupid subject but quirky enough lyrics, which makes sense since Big & Rich and Vicky McGehee wrote it.

Definitely "A Little More Love" by Jerrod Niemann and Lee Brice. I know it's a train wreck... But it's just so fun and innocent and ridiculous, I can't help but enjoy it.

I genuinely and unironically like both "Make You Miss Me" and "A Little More Love".
I honestly think that a lot of people here have no tolerance for fun songs. Granted, we have a glut of "fun" songs thanks to the lingering dregs of bro-country, but ALML isn't remotely bro. To me, it sounds more like something that could've been on Big & Rich's first album. Just be glad that ALML isn't Donkey 2.0.
It also seems there's no tolerance for Sam Hunt simply because of what his music sounds like. I don't think I've heard much complaint about his lyrics, just about how his stuff sounds. And honestly, I think he's a fine artist: I think his lyrics are very strong, and I think that his sound is both unique and representative of who he is -- not something that was forced on him by a record exec.

I actually enjoy "A Little More Love" but I find "Make You Miss Me" boring.
I also love "When The Stars Go Blue" by Tim McGraw, even if I'm still unsure of what it's about...

I also love "When The Stars Go Blue" by Tim McGraw, even if I'm still unsure of what it's about... Same. I just take the lyrics to be more atmospheric/suggestive that literal (which is pretty much the norm for just about every genre of music other than country). And using the same reasoning, I like "She's My Kind of Rain."

Those are both guilty pleasures of mine too, even if the lyrics are pretty much gibberish.

I honestly think that a lot of people here have no tolerance for fun songs. I loathe this excuse. I love fun songs, but only if they're still good songs. Something being labeled "fun" anymore almost seems like a way for some to give bad songs a pass because they weren't meant to be taken seriously. Dolly Parton, for instance, has lots of fun songs, but they're all well-written, well-sung, actually sound country, etc. Stuff like "A Little More Love" or "Vacation"... not so much.

Alan Jackson - All American Country Boy
This is a bit of a filler track on his otherwise superb Who I Am album. It's both a list song and an "I'm country" song. But somehow I always turn it up and sing along.

But somehow I always turn it up and sing along. Great tune and probably one of Alan's best albums from the mid 90's. It's full of so many great album tracks..."You Can't Give Up On Love" and "Let's Get Back to Me and You" are two of my favorites from it. And let's not forget the gem that was "Song for the Life" which has too much depth for today's mainstream country audience.

Still, it's probably my favorite Luke Bryan single so I guess I feel a little guilty about my favorite being a song with little substance.
