This one is hard. Today, I'll say "Control."

I love both, but I listen to the Control singles way more. So I'm going with that one.

Love Control, but RN1814 is in my top 5 albums of all time, so...

Rhythm Nation 1814 wasn't just a album its a musical movement. Control was epic in it own right just further testament to vast body of work this force has put out.

Control sl*ys from beginning to end. I can't say the same for its follow-up.

RR1814: Janet could easily do more undemanding tunes after Control, but she didn't. Lonely alone >>

Control is great, a short and sweet debut to follow up the two mixtapes. But Rhythm Nation 1814 is a pop masterpiece and its wig remains perched and unscathed.

This one was surprisingly a lot easier than JANET. VS TVR. I couldn't live without the beginning of CBTM (Album Version) or the end of LWNDWY (Album version).

I love both albums very much, but I have to go with RN because it's longer than Control. Plus, the sociallly conscious themes are still so relevant to today's culture.

"Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814" is a masterpiece.
