I feel like bandwagoning but I tend to like/listen to some songs just because people around me loved it as well. I also loved the video. It's nice seeing Diplo dance. HAHAHA.

This may be the same case as above. This was treated as a single here in the Philippines (probably because of the movie). It is smashing together with "Sugar". It was about to be done here a few weeks ago but my bestfriend told me how much she loved this song and we listened to this together. We barely see each other that's why whenever I listen to this song , I remember my best friend

So our mid-year Top 10's "only" 3/10 songs in common - but "I Really Like You", "Sugar", "Uptown Funk", and "Shut Up And Dance" all would've been inside my Top 20 (if my countdown had gone that far.)  Of course, there's nothing that I DISlike inside your Top 10 (though I've actually never heard the album version of "I Lived", only the [RED] Remix.)

Really wonderful to see "Love Me Like You Do" in the lead. If I had to pick from songs that were actually released in 2015, it would be my No. 1 too (though I didn't discover "OctaHate" until this year, so that one feels like a 2015 release for me.) Although it would've been great if it had been able to top the Hot 100, a No. 3 peak definitely exceeded my initial expectations, and it was a lot of fun watching it smash up a storm all over the world. Hooray for Ellie!

I used the same inverse formula in my "2010s+ others" thread. (#1 -> 65k , #2 -> 40k, #3 -> 35k, #4 -> 32k , #5 -> 30k. etc.) .

I just listened to the RED remix. I still prefer the version I'm using which is the single version (w/added background vocals towards the end). The initial chart run of "I Lived" was based on the album version.

This should've outpeaked "Lights" at least. And even "Lights" feels like a #1. At first listen, I thought this would topple the "Uptown"/"Thinking" duo. Did she even made promo for this? I think that's the thing missing from this. Anyway, at least our charts gave it justice

It's a technical mistake for this week. I forgot to add it on my playlist when I renewed it. Same thing with "Worth It" (w/c falls 18-39). Now that the video of RAWM is released, I have more reason to choose it over "All That".

"Cheerleader" is just one of the tracks that was just overtaken by many songs that I liked more. As what I said before , it's growing on me even though its chart performance doesn't say. This just means I actually love a lot of songs right now if songs that I like can't reach top 20. Good thing!

I haven't picked a favorite between the two as of now. Let's see what would happen next. But I prefer these two over "Earned It" (w/c only peaked at #35 on my chart that only has 40 songs) . @markg94 would judge me when he reads this.
