I have been making playlists of my top 10 each week for a few months. I will make top 50 since now. ps: in case i don't have time to make this, i will postpone it for a day or two since i'm still in junior high and i have a lot to do!
this chart is purely based on my preferences. There are a few certifications : 1. Top Debut 2. Greatest gainer 3. Biggest fall 4. alarm fav. (i wake up each morning with a song) 5. the replayed (based on how many times i pick it in the week)
And that's it!! The first Week of the hot 100 is officially done!! Will Break Free be able to hold the continually increasing Am I Wrong ? Or I'm Ready will make it into the top 3 ? Wait and see it yourself next week (27/7/2014). Pls Comment
• 'A Sky Full Of Stars' By Coldplay might storm into the top 10, and maybe top 5, following the release of its massive Remix from Hardwell. Not like the original version, which is like house, Hardwell's Remix focuses on melodic synths. Both of them are very enjoyable though, and will help coldplay getting their first top 10 in the chart. Currently, A Sky Full Of Stars is on no. 22. Their next highest charting single is "Another's Arms", at no.30, and is likely to jump to top 20 as the result of twice being used as ringtones.
• "Twisted" (by Fedde Le Grand) and "It's My Birthday" (Will.I.Am ft. Cody Wise) have a great potential to make a top 50 debut. The former, which is a great structured electro, keeps banging my head with the quote " My mind is twisted, How can I be twisted ?". The latter surprises me as i usually don't like Will.I.Am songs, but this is an exception. A great hook, followed with a great half-rap verse, and great sounds behind the vocals, make me paralysed and keeps saying, " My birthday is coming!"
"Break Free" Once Again Holds "Am I Wrong" From the Top Spot
Yet again, Ariana Grande holds onto No. 1 for the third week with her collaboration with Zedd, "Break Free", despite dropping number of plays. It holds the continually rising "Am I Wrong" from Nico & Vinz, which stays at its No. 2 peak for the second week. It debuted two weeks ago at No. 4, and the following week, it jumped to its peak.
Following "Am I Wrong" is The AJR Brothers' (or simply AJR) breakthrough hit, "I'm Ready", which moves 4-3 in its third week. Behind him is the top debut, #6, last week, Shift K3Y's "Touch". It jumps to its new peak, #4, in its second week. Becky G's"Shower" stays at its no 5 peak for the second week.
At No. 6 is Coldplay's first top 10 hit, "A Sky Full Of Stars". It leaps 22-6, boosted with the release of its massive remix from Hardwell (See the complete article in the midweek update (22 July 2014)). Another Coldplay's song, "Another's Arms" jumps 41-17 and takes the alarm favorite honour. At No. 7 is Kiesza's "Hideaway", jumping from 13 to 7. It has the potential to break the top 5 next week.
Audien takes a step forward to No. 8, bringing his collaboration with the gifted singer, Matthew Koma, "Serotonin". In its third week, it has a new peak after 2 weeks at No. 10. At No 9 is Oliver Heldens and Becky Hill's Gecko(Overdrive), which drops from #7. The last top 10 spot is taken by Indiana with her "Solo Dancing". It rebounds to top 10 from #11 after peaking at #9 two weeks ago.

Yet again, another remix for Coldplay's "A Sky Full Of Stars" was released. After Hardwell's remix boosted it to be Coldplay's first top 10 hit (no. 6), this time it's Syn Cole's one that is likely to help Coldplay getting their first No. 1 hit. But, it won't be easy for it to take the top spot, because... (see it below)
Win & Woo have released an amazing remix for Nico & Vinz's "Am I Wrong", which was No. 2 in last week's chart. Win & Woo added beautiful drops after the refrain, which made a different feeling and dimension from the song.
With so many great remixes being released, it is unavoidable for "Break Free", currently at no.1 for the third week, to drop from its spot, although it may not drop too much and still will be in the top five.
Route 94's remix of MK's track (ft. Alana), "Always", might make a big jump, following the fact that it has been the track that is holding "the replayed" honor in the midweek. it debuted at no 79 last week.
Coldplay Snatches the Top Spot From the Unlucky Duo
Poor Nico & Vinz. After holding tight to the second position for 2 weeks, it has to stay at the same position for another week at least. The bad news is not the former 3 weeks reigner,"Break Free", which takes the top spot. So, which song is it?
It turns out to be that Coldplay, with "A Sky Full Of Stars", claims the top spot from Ariana and the duo. It leaps 6-1, following the release of Syn Cole's remix, which is very cool. Last week, it was also boosted with a remix from hardwell, helping it to jump 22-6. It holds Nico & Vinz's enormous hit, "Am I Wrong", which stays at No.2 for 3 consecutive weeks. Like "A Sky Full Of Stars", "Am I Wrong" is also boosted by a remix, this time from Win & Woo. At No. 3 is Kiesza's "Hideaway". It jumps 7-3, after debuting at No. 13 two weeks ago. The last week No. 1 and the former three-week leader, Ariana Grande and Zedd's "Break Free", drops to No. 4, while AJR's "I'm Ready" falls to No. 5 from its No. 3 peak.
A great news there for Clean Bandit, whose "Rather Be" manage to leaps 13-6, although not holding "The Replayed" honor again. It is the first top 10 hit from Clean Bandit, and of course, won't be the last as their newest single, "Come Over (Feat. Stylo G)" debuts at no. 68. Following at No. 7 is the number-4-peaking "Touch" from Shift K3Y.
At No. 8, Audien and Matthew Koma stays in its peak for another week with "Serotonin". Oliver Heldens and Becky Hill also stays at its last week's position, No.9, with "Gecko (Overdrive)". It peaks at No. 5. Another new entry closes the top 10, as Secondcity's "I Wanna Feel" jumps 12-10 in its third week. It debuted at No. 16. Just behind the top 10, Route 94 makes an amazing move, with his remix of MK's "Always" leaps 79-11. It takes all the honor, consisting "Greatest Gainer", "The Replayed", and "Alarm Favorite", marking the first song to do such a thing.
The Full Coverage (Hot 100) will come later, as i don't have much time to make this and i have to run now. And from now on, i will tag the people who have commented/liked my posts. Thx!
Kiesza Rules at Top, Accompanied By 2 New Songs in the Top 3
Kiesza takes her first number 1 with "Hideaway", fending off Clean Bandit's "Rather Be". Meanwhile, there are 2 new top 10 entries.
With a great 15 % point gain, "Hideaway" jumps 3-1, passing "A Sky Full Of Stars" and "Am I Wrong", both whose points decreases. This marks her first number 1, and the biggest points for a song ever. It fends off "Rather Be" with a 5 % lead over it. "Rather Be" itself makes a 24 % gain and jumps 6-2, giving clean bandit their first top 5 hit. A big surprise follows Clean Bandit. 3Lau and Bright Lights' collaboration, "How You Love Me", storms 13-3 in their 4th week in the chart. It have got a fantastic run recently, with a no less than 9 positions gained each week.
The former 3 weeks runner up, Nico & Vinz's "Am I Wrong", dips 2-4, with a slight decrease in points. Following it is the former 3 weeks reigner, "Break Free", which slightly drops 4-5.
Another top 10 entry bullets in. This time is Route 94's remix of MK's "Always (ft. Alana)". After making a massive jump last week (79-11), it jumps to a new peak, moving 11-6 and gives route 94 his first top 10, while his collab with Jess Glynne, "My Love", moves 35-29. Following it is the last week number 1, Coldplay's "A Sky Full Of Stars". It is back to square one, after the remixes which have boosted it to No 1 are beginning to feel boring.
At No 8 is AJR's "I'm Ready", which drops 5-8. It peaked at no 3. Audien's collab with Matthew Koma, "Serotonin", also drops from its peak, dips 8-9. Secondcity's "I Wanna Feel", which entered the top 10 last week, stays at its no.10 peak. In the top 20, Oliver Heldens scores the biggest jump ever in the chart, with his new track, "Koala", as it leaps 94-17. Could it be his 2nd top 10 hit after gecko? Just find out next week!
And that's the article of Rasenganen Hot 100 week 3!! The full coverage is coming tomorrow!!
